Aw, wasn't Junko a shy one? Aksaja eyed the three in the water for a moment and then shrugged slightly, and concentrated for a moment, shifting away wings and tail. He imagined those could be awkward in the water - at least until he knew a little more about what he was doing here. Then he started to wriggle out of his shirt. After all, he wasn't about to ruin his clothes by getting them all wet . . . and he didn't exactly have like. Shorts or anything with him. Hadn't thought about it, honestly.
Besides, Yaya had already seen him unclothed once, so. The other two . . . hmn. They'd just have to deal, he supposed. The lightning dragon leaned over to slip off his boots and set them to one side, then went for the fastenings of pants. And as he started to push them down his hips, it became quite clear that he had nothing whatsoever on underneath them.

The pup jerked his head almost violently when he felt the scritches, almost bumping Yaya in the chin with his not-so-fluffy head. Thankfully he missed. And then gave Junko a curious glance as if to say "Did I have something in my hair?"
What was it with guys just stripping down into nothing in front of him? It wasn't the first time the pup had been exposed to nudity, but his reaction was much more exaggerated seeing as this was not a friend, but a strange student he didn't know in the slightest. Jove glanced away real quick before he got a good look at the dragon, and his cheeks glowed brightly in a true wisp fashion. Even his shoulders glowed slightly against Yaya's dark skin. He knew ghouls sometimes didn't wear much, but he was given to understand that there were certain parts of the body that were supposed to be covered either by fur or clothes, and it embarrassed him to see someone discarding the last of their coverings.

Had Yaya known Junko was going to attempt to give the little whisp a scratch behind the ear she would have stopped her. As it was all she could do was lift her chin up suddenly to avoid what could have been a very painful connection. You did not simply each out and touch Jove if he wasn't familiar with you, Yaya already knew this, but Junko did not. Even then, unless he saw you coming, he'd likely jerk away at the touch. The look he turned on Junko was priceless, and Yaya couldn't help but stroke fingers along the out side of one wet ear before Junko suddenly ducked down behind her.
"What are you doing?" Her voice was flat, though curious, and it was obvious she didn't see what the big deal was with Aksaja being there. Then again, the djinn also didn't have half so many bashful insecurities as her best friend. Dark brows drifting upward, she glanced from the futakuchi-onna and up towards the dragon just as Jove was turning to looking away.
She caught a glimpse of one bare, tanned hip, smiled smugly, then realized what he was ding. "Stop!" Sweet Jack, had he really been willing to simply strip naked in front of them all. Her she could understand, she'd seen him in buff before and he knew damn well she was a fan, but Junko and Jove had not signed up for that show. "Where is your swim suit?"
Who comes to a swimming lesson without their swimwear and towel?

Junko gasped and brought her hand back quickly when Jove jerked back, a sign of do not want. Okay! Okay. She wouldn't touch. Frankly she should have thought better of it since Junko herself didn't like being touched without permission, but his ears were just so cute and fuzzy and she really just couldn't help herself. "Sorry, sorry." She apologized sincerely, taking note not to touch again unless he wanted her to. Still so quiet! Was he mute? Poor thing!
She hid behind Yaya a little more until the demon asked her what she was doing, pausing a moment while she tried to think of some kind of reasonable answer. "Umm...swimming?" She answered with a sheepish smile, knowing full well that wasn't even close to the truth. She was basically wading and wading was not swimming. Heh. But she hoped Yaya would appreciate her humor. Junko looked up when she heard rustling purely to satisfy her own curiosity, her eyes widening and a squeak escaping her when she caught sight of Aksaja starting to remove his pants. What was he DOING!? The futakuchi-onna buried her face against the back of Yaya's shoulder to keep herself from seeing if his pants got too low, glad that even Yaya wasn't going to let this fly.

Aksaja froze when Yaya yelled at him, blinking. "Uhm. I don't have one?" he replied, hitching pants back up a little, as it was fairly clear that she wasn't happy about that. Eeerm. Oops?
I mean, really, what was the big deal? Okay well, the white puppy-looking student in the water did look sort of like a little kid, so maybe he shouldn't see . . . more adult things. But he was male too right? Wasn't he? Oh. Or maybe Junko wasn't used to . . . yea, that was probably it.
"Fine, fine, I'll be right back." Plucking shirt and boots up off the floor, Aksaja turned and padded outside before rolling his eyes and shifting to fly back to his cave and dig up some shorts. When he returned in a few moments, he was wearing those and raised a brow at Yaya. "Not really a swimsuit but this'll work?"

Jove's ears swivelled backwards as he listened to the dragon walk off, and then he once again looked over his shoulder at Yaya to see her reaction. So the other boil was going to have to wear something on his lower half after all. The pup was relieved, although it wouldn't have mattered as much in the water it was still pretty awkward for him.
Then he glanced over his other shoulder, and Yaya's, and peered at Junko curiously. She really was being very nice to him. His tail wagged slightly in the water, surely the currents it and it's copious amounts of fluff stirred up would have been felt by both ghouls.
When the dragon returned, Jove looked up before realizing what a mess that had been the last time. Thankfully it hadn't turned out to be a mistake. The dragon was wearing shorts like his own, as far as the pup was concerned there was no real difference between regular clothes and swimwear other than it's lack of coverage, and it made him feel slightly better about his towel having been removed.
The ghost supposed Yaya was aiming for her lesson involving not too much clothing, but not too little either.

Hiking the pup up a little more in her grip, the djinn rolled her weight to the opposite hip so he was resting against it a little more comfortably then just hanging from her arm. Granted he wasn't heavy, and seemed practically weightless in the water. Of course only a very small sliver of attention had been dedicated to that. The majority being taken up by Aksaja as he admitted he hadn't brought swim wear.
She just stared at him while he stood there, blue eyes narrowed until he turned tail and went to go get some. In all honesty it wouldn't have mattered to Yaya if the dragon had been in the buff, but she wasn't the only one present, and while she couldn't say for sure how Jove felt on the subject, she knew damn well that Junko would not appreciate it.
After Saja left the marid followed the whisp's example and looked over her shoulder at the ghoul hiding behind her, dark brows twitching upward. "Swimming, hm?" Those neutral features softened into a warm smile, and she would have commented further but the lightning dragon had already returned.
Slipping back into her role as instructor, the djinn turned to lay a hand on Junko's shoulder, nudging her out from behind her so she'd be able to see. "Now that you're dressed go ahead and jump in, I'm gunna show you guys how to float first. It's a handy trick for if you're ever tired, or just need to calm down." She glanced down to the pup in her arms, shifting her grip so his knees were hooked over her opposite wrist. Holding him in front of her in the water. "How about you go first and show these two how easy it is, hmm?"

Aksaja blinked slightly at the djinn's instructions to 'jump in', then figured out she probably didn't necessarily mean that literally. So instead, he moved to the steps leading down into the pool and waded into the water. He was a bit taller than any of the girls, so this depth didn't really bother him.
The lightning dragon was a little nervous about going in deeper, but he tried not to let that show, standing there a bit stiffly and watching. He wouldn't mind being in Yaya's arms like Jove was right now . . . a faint smirk playing across features at the thought. "Don't mess up," he murmured, in a slight show of support for the pup.

Jove wiggled only slightly as Yaya shifted her hold on him, glancing up with pale, curious eyes. Wait, she wanted him to demonstrate? He didn't even know how to float! The pup began wiggling more violently as the djinn held him out, but when he realized she wasn't going to let go completely he stopped his frantic splashing.
Unfortunately he didn't know the correct posture for floating was spreading out on one's back, and he wasn't at all likely to stretch out on his own. So he sat up slightly, and sunk as far down into the water as Yaya's arms would allow. One by one he glanced at Yaya, Junko, and Aksaja, and then whined out of confusion and nervousness. If Yaya let him go, he would surely sink.

"Yes, swimming." Junko replied haughtily, though the tone was purely in jest. Despite saying this she didn't let go of her friend, though when Aksaja returned dressed in shorts she sighed with relief. Good, good. She did not want to see a naked boil. Not now and...not...for a long time, probably much to the dismay of a certain ghost boil. She squeaked as Yaya's hand nudged her away from her hiding place behind her, though she looked curious now about this first lesson. Floating? That..didn't sound too difficult?
Poor Jove! He looked so nervous as Yaya held him out! "It'll be okay, Jove! Yaya wouldn't let anything happen to us." She said encouragingly to the little pup. You had to admit, Junko made a good point. What kind of friend or instructor would Yaya be if she let them drown?

The djinn glanced up from the pup in her arms to give Junko an amused little smile before attempting to regain some seriousness. She half succeeded, if the slight upturn at the corners of her lips were any indication.
Her grip on the small whisp tightened a bit as he struggled, not to restrain, but to show she wasn't about to let him go. In fact she even pulled him in against her body again until he stilled. "I won't you sink." She gave him a fond little squeeze before slowly extending her arms again with him cradled between them. "Alright. The trick to floating is staying calm. If you panic you'll go under, so you have to school your breathing and relax." She glanced up to Junko and Aksaja as she spoke, then back down to Jove.
"To float," she began, spreading her arms so the boil's body stretched slowly between them. "You have to lay back in the water with arms and legs spread and your back arched." Very carefully she manipulated Jove's small body into the appropriate position, shifting her hands until she held him by just her fingertips at the small of his back, her free hand hovering below his head, but not touching. "If you bend it won't work, but if you relax and stay arched you'll float." Her words slowed as she spoke, and as the word float left her mouth she dipped her fingers so they no longer touched the pup, leaving him to float on his own. She did keep her hands out stretched mere inches below him, ready to catch him if she needed.
"Well done, pup." The praise was soft and murmured close to his face so only he would hear.

Oh, well that looked pretty easy. Aksaja eyed the position that Jove was in for a moment then moved away a little to try for himself. But of course . . . it wouldn't be that easy. As his feet left the floor of the pool, the lightning dragon utterly failed to get onto his back fast enough and so started to sink under the water.
Flailing about, he managed to get back on his feet but ended up splashing all of them with not a little water in the process. Jackdammit.

Calmed by the ghouls' reassurance, Jove let himself be stretched out into that vulnerable flat position with only a slight resistance the second time around. It didn't feel very natural, even when sleeping he chose not to lie on his back. Plus in his current state of undress the bruise on his side was made much more evident. It made him more than a little nervous, but he tried to focus on Yaya's instructions.
He pulled a breath into his lungs, which did wonderful things for his buoyancy, and next thing he knew Yaya was quietly congratulating him. A slight tail wag propelled his floating form a few inches, but it wasn't enough to break his concentration. Unfortunately Aksaja's flailing did the trick. When the droplets water hit Jove's face he startled and ended up with water in one ear. He sat up in a huge hurry, shaking his head to try and dislodge the liquid, letting out his held breath, and sinking down in the water in the process.

Junko watched attentively as Yaya demonstrated and explained how to float using Jove as her example, humming quietly to herself as she processed it. Okay. Lay back, back arched, arms and legs spread...how was she going to do that?! She frowned with worry over her own ability to do this, giving Aksaja a glance as he attempted to try it himself. Gah! The ghoul squeaked and raised her arms to block some of the splashing, looking even more worried now. If Aksaja couldn't do it how did Yaya expect her to?!
But then she looked to Jove who was doing just fine. Jove, little terrified Jove, was showing up her and Aksaja. She chuckled quietly to herself until he panicked from being hit with the water. Oh no! "Jove! It's okay, it's alright! It's just Aksaja splashing." She said as calmly as she could, reaching out to help keep him up along with Yaya. See? They wouldn't let him sink. Yaya was probably going to expect her to give this a try though...sigh!
Junko stepped away from the group enough to give herself room, still staying relatively close to the wall so she could grab it if she needed to. She didn't want to freak out Jove like Aksaja had managed to. She bobbed a bit, sinking enough to dip her head under by accident. Geh! She hadn't meant to do that! Damn! She stood up with a gasp, checking her hair to make sure all of it was still in place; the last thing Junko needed was for Her to get free. Okay..one more try. Lay back, arch back, arms and legs...this was really awkward.

Though the majority of her attention was trained on the pup floating directly in front of her it was hard not to notice Saja attempting to float himself. Or rather failing. He sank, failed, sending water all over all of them, and Yaya was ready when Jove startled and sat up. Hooking her hands under his arms to pull him right back up to the surface. A benign, peaceful sort of smile directed down at him. See, nothing to fear here. "Easy does it." And because he had been floating before the water had hit his face, "Good job, you're a world class floater."
It seemed as though the whisp's success was having an effect on the others. She watched quietly as Junko separated herself from the others to give it a try herself. Her first attempt was about as successful as Aksaja's, but after recovering she gave it another go, and the djinn couldn't help but be proud of her. "That's it, lay back, draw a deep breath."
Dipping down into the water, the ghoul swung the smaller boil around so he could loop an arm around her shoulders to keep from sinking. Then waded over hold a hand below the futakuchi-onna's back. Fingertips barely touching the girl to keep her at the surface until was floating by herself and didn't need the aid. "Good job."
Now all that was left was the dragon, and the djinn turned a softly exasperated little grin at him. "Come here, Saja."
