She smiled softly, a little off-guard by her action as well as his reaction to it. She doubted her face could feel any hotter than it did at that moment, and she did her best to play it off lightly, "My bad.... mud on your fur is unpleasant..." then, with the same determination, she groomed the bothersome spot, feeling slightly accomplished that he hadn't been put off by her odd self yet.

"I agree," Jicho said, nodding. Yech. There was nothing worse than getting one's beautiful fur all mucked up. Nothing at all. The very thought made him want to shudder a bit. He stood still while she got rid of the bit of mud on his mane. "Thank you," he said. "It is a bit hard to see mud on your own mane."

Ayida's flirtatious was just as spontaneous as the rest of her, and a soft smirk tweaked at her mouth, "Well, there's a little here... and over here..." She licked each place as she pointed it out, her last landing right on his cheek with a satisfied and playful swish of her tail.
There wasn't any doubt in her now, she was liking this guy. Of course, she didn't plan on bashing him on the head and dragging him to some female-run pride where she could keep him and his clean fur. She forgot which way it was again, much less a location if she had her own pride.

If Jicho had been a less confident lion, he would surely have been blushing. A bit, anyways. He had enough of an ego to think her flirtations only natural, though. What sensible female wouldn't be taken by him?
"Well, now that we're clean..." Jicho eyed the female appreciatively, wondering just how bold he could be. "Maybe we can find a nice place to snuggle up?"

Had he said anything different, Ayida would've been put off that her rare moment of flirting had been missed. And she knew that now that she'd started, she might as well continue. "Our luck so far seems to be in our favor..." She purred lightly, her face still mere inches from his from his last 'grooming'.

Jicho would never admit to being surprised at having seduced the female because of course he was Jicho. And he got ladies all the time. ALL THE TIME. Ahem.
But he was a wee little tiny bit surprised at how agreeable she was. Surprised and delighted. He couldn't help purring a bit in response to her. "Let's see how long our luck will last," Jicho said, nuzzling at her slightly.
Oh, boy.
