Her unsettled feeling, and admittedly confusion, settled as the redhead spotted Arsinoe heading her way. She smiled weakly at him before looking back at the ground as it shifted from black to a scene of the earth. "Hey," she told him glancing back over at the senshi of lanterns. "Likewise," she agreed with a soft laugh. "Though it always seems to be that you find me whenever we're in a large crowd." It was a comforting thought really, because she preferred, in all honesty, to stick around her partner.
They were a good team and had come to trust each other enough to share their civilian identities.
Her gaze drifted down to his leg which didn't seem to be suffering but she wasn't sure. "How's your leg?" She asked trying to keep her mind off of the voice she didn't recognize. One that she probably wouldn't recognize.
She couldn't stop herself from thinking about it's words. Why had she come to Elysion? She honestly hadn't had a choice in her arrival but she was fighting, but for what?

The voice was unwelcome if only because it was expecting too much from him. Ganymede wasn't interested in driving out evil so much as he was keeping himself alive through all of this. He'd leave the rest for everyone else to dirty their hands with. They'd all been doing this longer than he had; hell, they could probably do it better without him. There wasn't any use pretending as if he was important to this cause when his insignificance was fairly obvious.
"Actually," he muttered in response to the voice, not recognizing it at all -- but then he didn't expect to, "I've come to this place because I didn't have a choice, just like I never seem to have a choice in anything anymore."
He didn't care about this place, or about any of these people. Maybe he was selfish, maybe he was just ignorant, or foolish, or misguided. He didn't care about that either. He wanted control over his own life, and this was making that nearly impossible.

"Being around all this weird stuff isn't as bad with you around." He grinned slightly. "At least if I find you I know someone's got my back." He knew he could trust Denebola when it came down to it. "And i can keep an eye on you and make sure you don't get in trouble." Yea she was older than him and could take care of herself but that was just a technicality.
"Leg? Oh .. it's better. It still hurts a bit but I can walk." The red wound was starting to fade into a slightly white tinted scar around his ankle. "I think i'm okay so long as no one tries to kick me there."

Bellatrix looked to Themis as he approached, "This place is getting annoying. I'm tired of not being able to sleep when I want." It was a deadpan truth. She was tired of this Elysion crap. It was effecting everyone - those she knew, those she didn't know...herself. (Bellatrix was notably somewhat cranky. Lack of decent sleep? You bet.)
There was only one solution - get rid of the annoyance. The hindrance. FOr great, selfish, justice. And whatever battle stemmed from that mission, she was here to protect and defend.

Sailor Chibi Hypnos did not come to fight evil, or anything fancy like that. Hypnos came here because those she loved were here, those she wanted to protect were here. She didn't know Mister Birdy and Big Kitty in the real world, she didn't even know if they existed. The child feared that one day she would not be able come back to this place, that she would not be able to see her friends again. She worried about this, and her face frowned at the voice that was speaking. Her hand unconsciously found their way to the stairs on her head with a touch and then to the circlet of stars and crescent moons that hung from her forehead. Star Protectors?
Super Sailor Themis was on the move though and the child held on for the ride. She seen a familiar face, although not one she had really ever been properly introduced to before.
"Themis, Themis. Who's this pretty girl?" She directed to Super Sailor Bellatrix.

Maia frowned slightly, how had she gotten separated from the group again. She was toward the middle of the group of senshi, but the rest of the BMC was not and that of course was not okay. Maia looked around trying to find a member of her team, but instead she got a voice. A voice, she had not heard before and one that was welcoming them.
Okay, that was odd. Helios and the Eyes wanted them out, but this voice had welcomed them, knowing what they wanted to do and telling them it wasn't enough.
It put Maia on edge, but the voice of the captain, calmed her slightly. At least Ares was close and Maia looked around for a moment before spotting her. She made to go over, but stopped at Themis voice and her head whipped around and locked on her cousin. She grinned at him before going to Ares.
"This is awkward," she said matter of factly, "I am suspicious. The warm welcome is nice, but far from what we have gotten in our time in this place."

“You think that your enemy is the entity known as the Negaverse and you are correct. But inside that organization, deeper than any of them even realize, is an evil so great it has always pervaded our planet.” From inside, a shadow grew over the Earth. It dripped down from the North Pole to consume the entire planet; so insidious and so hard to really see that it went unnoticed. The voice named it in a reverent, if hateful, whisper.
”Metallia.”
It echoed across the walls and was allowed to fade; whoever this was had an incredible flair for the dramatic. “No one knows how long this shadow has existed over our beautiful planet, but it has been here so much longer than anyone could have ever predicted. So many times it has tried...but we have always repelled it. Countless protectors of Earth have raised their power and given their lives to drive it back.” Regret, loss, sadness.
The image flared with the light of bright gold, washing over the planet, and the shadow vanished. But as when the light faded, presumably from the death of the planet’s guardian and protector, it drew down over the planet. Again and again this happened until there was a different light.
This time the shadow grew darker when it came back and it was centered...over Destiny City.

Ares nodded crisply at Maia, happy to see the cadet there. Honestly, with each passing day, the Senshi of Song was proving herself to be more and more reliable than before. It was something that had not gone unnoticed by the Captain of the Blood Moon Court. She parted her lips to address Maia again, but the voice returned and she was instantly silent.
The image waging out before them made Ares heart skip a beat. And then the name like ice: Metallia. Who was she? What was she? If this was a power that had been here for this long, then was she perhaps even greater in strength than Beryl herself? Ares felt equal parts curiosity and fear, her hands prickling with sweat.
Now her eyes were locked on a different light, a darker one. "Destiny City..." she whispered, leaning closer to Maia.

It was like you had closed your eyes and opened in to a new scene. Sort of like a weird viewfinder, but instead of showing tiny little disney animation cells, this one held violence and, the thought brought back a vague feeling of queasiness, space beer. Possibly the worst choice she had made these days.
Happily, this montage seemed less like a fight club and more like a museum story time, which Sidra was far more comfortable with. What she was less comfortable with was waking up in the middle of the room, which she fixed by moving back to the edge-- she didn't want to disrupt anyone's view of the globe on the floor-- nor was she comfortable being in the centre of anyone's attention.
Her lack of personal contacts seemed to be serving her rather well in the "I am impotent and incompetent, please don't ask me to help" since no one did, but as she looked around the room, and saw all the cuts, the scrapes, the bruises-- it made her feel even worse. It made her feel damn responsible for every hurt that they had, whether or not she had the ability to help right at that moment. She could have at least tried.
Taking a breath like she was about to dive in to water, Sidra clenched her fists rhythmically.
No more, would she stand aside while her allies fought. No more would she hide and pretend that she could do nothing.
No more would she be a coward.
"We destroyed Metallia once," Sidra commented quietly.
She really needed to work on the sweeping and poignant pep talk.

Ares turned sharply to face the tiny girl with stark white hair and wide eyes. She had no idea who she was, but she absolutely wanted to know now. "How did you defeat her?" she said suddenly. And then, a little more warily, "And how do you know?" The eternal sailor didn't look classically intimidating, but the Senshi of Smoke eyed her with a careful curiosity. How did she know about this Metallia? Was there more than met the eye to her?
The parallel senshi looked highly skeptical.

Hugbell stood there, off to one side, sorta close to Sidra. Butter yellow eyes were watching the globe and things that happened to it. She had missed two of the major fights, she missed the broken arms, and the heat and scratches of Leopard's domain and the wings and the negaverse winning Quail's domain. She'd seen and helped win Seal's domain, one that might as well had been named princess desu desu sparkle rainbow world.
The chibi senshi seemed somewhat sleepy and was in a sullen look. Listening to the words spoken. "Why?" She whispered as she looked around curls bouncing. "Is that why the Negaverse is bad?" She was still learning and wrapping her mind around the things she'd seen and fought against. She wasn't sure who to look towards, but her yellow eyes came to rest on Sidra who seemed to have spoken up and knew something.
The child paused, she seemed like she wanted to say something else but there was a lot to process, the museum story time, everything that had been said in meetings the ones she made it to... A million questions and yet she stood there looking for one answer. "Why does the Negaverse hurt people, why can't we all get along? Everyone says they're bad, but why are they bad, why are they bullies?" Barnaby was in the crook of her arm and she was looking to whoever might have the answer. It was the one thing she couldn't understand, why were people bullies? Hugbell's eyes turned towards Ares, her curls bouncing as the other spoke, she might've been nine. In being nine Hugbell might've known more than normal children her age because she was a senshi, but there was still a lot she didn't understand.

Maia watched the scene before them and when Ares leaned closer and whispered Destiny City, Maia nodded. Yes, it definitely was and quite frankly that was what the city resembled as of late. Dark far to often. "The darkness in the daytime," she pondered outloud.
Her head turned to the new eternal, one she thought she may have seen before at the beginning of all this. She looked to Ares, who address the girl after she'd spoken up and Maia nodded her agreement at the questioning.

Sidra looked surprised at the question, so used to standing behind everyone and hiding in the shadows that she forgot what it felt to have penetrating eyes on her. Blushing, Sidra lowered her head, and fumbled with her hair for a moment before turning her wide eyes back on the taller, dark haired girl.
"It's a long story, a bit too long to discuss while at the whim of this dreamscape, but trust me, I know. Totally first person scenario to boot, which helps," Sidra stuttered for a moment, and pulled to a complete halt, glancing over to the floor, hoping that it would save her from revealing well, anything. But it was absolutely no help, so she went on. "I used to be Sailor Nova. I'm sort of almost Sailor Cosmos-- I've been a couple of other things too, it's been a bit of a crazy ride in my world. But trust me-- we've fought back the dark before and won. Though..."
Sidra clutched at her bare arms, suddenly cold.
"Sometimes-- sometimes we lost."
Cryptic, at best. Lovely.

Another night meant another visit to Elysion. In another overly pretty place. At least it wasn't something something gaudy. Sailor Iris had to confess it was classy. Not that she was into such things.
No, not Sailor Iris.
It seemed many senshi were present. This wasn't a surprise at all, since the first time she had visited Elysion, she was with many senshi, including her teammate, Metis.
Speaking of teammates, golden eyes eventually began to scan the room. If there was someone she wanted to see, it was Metis. If there was someone else she wanted to see (if only to beat his a**), it was Parthenope. As the patterned Earth seemed to change, the eternal senshi's mind and eyes were elsewhere. The thing that eventually caught her attention again was that voice. It was one of those voices that a person could not logically ignore.
So... that's what's been going on, huh? A brow lofted a bit as she seemed to slowly (very slowly) absorb the information being given.

"So," Sailor Gaia draped an arm over Maia's shoulders, comfortably making the fop haired Sailor uncomfortable, "does anyone know if this party is catered or do we have to scavenge the vending machines?"
Popping her knuckles (and her fingers, and her toes, though no one could hear those beauties), Madison looked between her brethren, though careful not to show any outward signs of affection towards their fearless leader. Not that she wanted to display outward displays of affection.
"Didn't we have something similar, Ares? To Metal-head-whatshername.
