He nodded like this were a round table discussion and then paused to stare blankly at scheelite.
"I can't -sleep- because when I -do- I wind up in Elision , I have homework and school in the mornings and Energy and Elision at night, you want me to rest then we finish this... we have to, else the whole city might be twisted to their way of thinking, maybe even US."
He reached up and rubbed his eyes and then added. "If -anyone- asks... ANYONE...and I mean pass this on to your team too Scheelite. Tell them Linarite is -dead-, for one thing Castor can't be allowed to know she's not, and two the nature and degree of her injuries might put her at risk of exposure... we can't have that."

"I doubt anyone will ask me, Zink. No one i know besides you even knows Lina." She had no clue about Schee being on team enterprise either. "I have only ever heard you utter her name... but just in case, i promise if asked i will say she is dead." Zink knew the girl and how much that one word meant, so it should hopefully leave some impact.
"Zink, at the rate you are heading your mind is going to explode. You NEED to take a break. Even if its one damn day a week, the weekends.. you dont have school then. You NEED to rest. Im in no position to order you around, but damn take it as a request from a friend...ok?"
"Same for you Schee..." Did she mean the 'no ordering around' or the break? "You're still healing.. you need more time. You can still run a team without over exerting yourself, we have the cells for a reason." As if to make a point, she summoned hers to wave around... before putting it away.
"...We should celibrate sometime soon, even if its my house having pizza and watching horrible old movies. Schee's leg recovery, and Zinks promotion!" ...Yes it was a fail attempt to hopefully get the two to unwind.

I know I know, you had to do everything in your power to make -me- sleep after that whole comadream world thing. You're preaching to the choir when it comes to not being able to really -rest- when sleeping...but you still need to try. You're no good as an officer if you're exhausted! Kay? Mister General?"
Scheelite paused in massaging his knee to glance back at Faya.
"I'm fineeee! I ate a bunch of starseeds and energy dude I'll be fine...really! My team needs someone to chase them around and annoy them into work, I've got this!"
Pause.
"...but I wouuuuld enjoy a night of bad movies and pizza. Bad disaster movies? Pleasepleaseplease those are the BEST."

Tension seeped into his shoulders, two people, yes old friends but chiding him even if it was under the title of friend was very VERY hard to take right now. The memory of the agony hadn't faded... it was like he truly had died and returned as...something else.
That thought made so much sense in his head, as did everything else, the clarity of the world, the certainty in his actions it was like nothing he'd ever felt before and he could be drunk on it if he allowed.
But there was still Zac in there somewhere...
"... I'll ask Selenite... She should be included if we're making this a team thing, the closer you are in AND out of work might make us work better as a team."
A pause before he added. "But I'm not forgiving lax quotas!"

"Schee Starseeds are a temporary high, not a long time solution. Besides.. isnt is BAD to get addicted to those?" She headtilted, hearing that soemwhere it would have bad results if you ate too many of those.
She could notice the tension from her boss. He probably was not in the best temper... the blood on his uniform didn't help. Her eyes caught his... only for her to look away quickly. A sign of submission, if he chose to look at it that way.
"or course Zink, the whole team is invited if they wish to come." She would not exclude anyone from the team, though she had to admit.. she only really knew Zink and Schee.. and trusted them enough, to be in her home. But she was a member of this team.
She would suck it up.

"...We'll rent a place." He added recalling Fayalite's trust issues, her apartment was sacred ground and they couldn't just crash on Paragonite.
Hotel rooms were safe, impersonal and escapist. A few picked pockets would make the energy thefts look like a mugging, it sounded ideal.
"Then it's like a small...'vacation'." He said the word with only a little sarcasm, there was no such thing as a vacation for them, not with a war on... but escapist, that they could do.

"...No, its ok. My house is a lot cleaner.. and has a better TV. More equipped for people and comfortable too." If somehow it got out of hand and someone needed to crash at her place, she had a pull out bed, guest room, and her room. So... with 4-5 people it should work out.
"Not that im against a little money gathering, need help with the pizza funds." She was not rich, the money she had was from her job at the horse farm.

Team thing? For a moment he felt like maybe he shouldn't intrude.. He was Zink's partner, yes, but he had his own team rather than be a member of Zink's team. Though now that Zink was a general....
He'd ask him about that later, when his poor partner was feeling better.
"I can contribute some money! I totally don't mind springing for pizza or something."
There, now he felt better about going! He'd be helping -and- hanging out with them. Schee already picked pockets when gathering energy, so helping them cover things would be no problem.
"I guess the question is...when we gonna do it?"
