The she-wolf just gave Ren a look that promised payback. She already owed him some because of the mimic horde. Now she'd just have to get more creative after this. That didn't in any way keep her from cringing again at the tone of voice Gabrian used with Ren. Yep. Her boilfriend was just a little on the upset side. But not, at least that she could tell, about her and Ren. Nope. This was all her doing. Ok, that wasn't true. There was a little bit of feeling directed towards the two monsters and how they had been found (which LW blamed Ren for that). But most of it was her fault. Any other time, she might have been amused by this.

Maybe. Actually, she might have flattened herself on the floor with her tail tucked under her. Which wasn't a half bad idea right now. Especially when Ren rolled off and she was no longer pinned. Even her tail was released after Gabe got a good look at the mark on her leg.

That urge to flatten against the floor (if it was even possible, seeing as she was already on her back, as close to the floor as possible) increased when he started to have a mini rant. She just kept feeling smaller and smaller and begging to whatever graces there were to oh Jack, PLEASE let the ground swallow her whole! But, like usual, she didn't get any luck and win that either.

Slowly, eying both boils, LW sat up Indian style, which effectively showed off the demon mark. Her shoulders were hunched together and she couldn't meet either of their eyes. Honestly, she didn't know if she felt ashamed of having the mark or guilty for not telling them about it in the first place. The she-wolf winced even more at her boilfriend's words. "I-it was and accident!" She paused and thought on it. "Kind of." Resting her elbows on her legs, she let her head fall into her hands, allowing her not to look at either of them.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell either of you before." LW said in a small voice. "I was still trying to come to terms with the fact that yes, I had been marked by a demon." Not to mention a small part of her had been afraid of what they might say. "I'd been going to visit you on that day, Gabe. And got pulled aside by Pride. She asked me to help her with...something and we ended up in Livi's room." Best not to tack on that that something had been lock-picking. "He...Livi has this extremely adorable fox squirrel and I was busy giving him my attention to realize what exactly Pride had offered me in 'payment' for my helping her." LW knew it sounded lame. Knew she should have been paying more attention. Knew that it was her fault for getting marked. Not really an accident. "I was told the terms and they didn't sound bad so I agreed." The last was said in a soft whisper as it meant that she admitted she'd at least been aware at some level of what she was getting in to. "The terms are Pride can call upon my...particular set of skills she does not posses in exchange for her social backing and assistance to me."

When he kindly requested that she actually get fully dressed, LW managed to pull her head from her hands and just give the demon a look. Oh, was he uncomfortable with her sitting there like this? She felt terrible now about not telling them before and didn't want to move at all. Still staring at him for another minute, LW decided to solve this problem another way. Closing her eyes, she let skin be replaced by red fur and once shifted, she flopped down on the floor and gave them both a pitiful look.
