thor1005 devouri2 @thor and bloddy loc don't dis the star wars, but i kinda agree I say call of duty they actually have about 20 games out maybe more, then i would also say halo b/c they finished it with reach i don't see why they would do a four or redo 1, also need for speed that franchise died out with underground, and last but not least tony hawk it should've stopped with project 8 yet there they go making tony hawk ride Lol I wasn't saying anything negative against it... I LOVE Star Wars & was trying to say that Kotor was good... which it was. 3nodding oh, i haven't played kotor so i wouldn't know lawl

Resident Evil. I'm not bashing or anything, but they seriously need to go back to zombies. The parasite thing was unique in RE4 with Leon, but RE5 just felt repetitive. More actual zombies, more puzzles that actually require you to think for a little while and when you actually get it, you feel stupid for not getting it right off the bat, and more overpowered bosses that you actually have to run from. Seriously, RE3 was fun because of the puzzles and the fact that Nemesis could break through a freakin window any minute and he had a one hit melee attack and a heat seeking rocket launcher. In my eyes, the series died at Code Veronica X. And don't get me started on the movies. stare

To be fair, I do not see any franchise as a waste unless it does not make enough money, at which point it will fail. If a franchise continues, it is around for a reason. We may not like those reasons, but it would die if it was a waste.
Now, if you just mean series for the sake of money? That is a bit of a different story, as those still serve the purpose of profit. Considerable profit, in fact, and as long as it is selling it is making enough people happy to be worth making more of. There may be series I dislike, and series I even think lower the standards of gaming, but... as long as they make money, they have some reason for existing.
That being said? I feel sports games are a bit of a wasted budget that could really benefit elsewhere. A video game should be something to captivate what you -cannot- do in reality. You can go out and play football. You cannot go out and fly a hover bike over burning lava while popping coolant balloons so that you do not overheat, only to have your talking squirrel best friend b***h at you.

Parasite things arent funny to kill...... confused stare
