Dimas' eyes seemed to be wider and her body language more nervous as he started to go on and on about what type of people could lurking in one of the few salvation she had in this place. She did not care about her room, or the activity center, or the mess hall and she was often too worried to go outside into any of the yard, so the only place she found any pleasure was in the showers. But now this short man was trying to ruin it for her. She bit her lip for a moment then she turned to look at him with a bit of a wiry grin, "You have thought about this a lot haven't you?"
She looked him over and shook her head, "It is not a person's size that really matters. I mean you could sneak up on me and knock me down or pull a weapon on me. There are lots of ways someone of your size could take someone of mine." Her dark eyes glazed a bit as if in a memory but then she gave a humorless laugh and then she motioned to her body. "Who would want to screw this?" She said in a darker voice but she gave a nod, "Even if I were nervous of you you are welcome to stand guard and i shall try to take a quick shower." She gave a soft bow of her head and turned to continue down the hall towards the showers.

Well...Edith felt a small sense of satisfaction. Particularly in the way Dimas looked at him. She looked uneasy, and that gave him a sense of strength. It felt good, for a little while, to think he was in control of at least some small thing. Still, when she smiled at him like that and questioned him...Edith's good feeling dropped and his face fell. "I..." He started then stopped. It wasn't thinking. It was experience. He knew. He KNEW! That was exactly what happened in the showers! Edith's gray eyes darted off towards a side of the room as he cleared his throat and stood.
"Oh...don't....don't undersell yourself. Your pretty enough." He replied without looking at her. "Come on, let's go." He tried to once more take control of the situation, in order to best overcome his own sense of unease and shame. Edith shifted towards the door and shoved his hands into his pockets.

Dimas' dark eyes watched the strange wave of remembrance pass over Edith's face. She could only wonder what he was remembering. But she figured that it would be best not to ask.
She rolled her eyes at his comment. It was kinda of a back handed compliment. She was pretty enough to use. Well most guys did just need a able body that was female after all right? However she did allow him to take up the lead and she fell in a bit behind the shorter man. She could not help but feel a small bit of fear that there would be a guy standing outside the shower in the middle of the night protecting it from anyone else coming in. After all he could have bigger stronger friends waiting and he could give them a signal that there was a girl alone in the shower. But she was sure anyone who saw her without her clothes, skimmpy though they might be would not be too keen on jumping her.
"Thank you for being willing to stand guard. I hope that when we start looking for stuff we can find enough so you won't feel guarding me was a waste. "

Edith still felt uneasy, but he was pushing it away. He was leading the girl to the showers and...for what? Edith had to start wondering why he was doing this. He looked around and peered up and down the hall uneasily. He didn't want to risk himself and Dimas getting jumped before they got to their destination. It would only show her how weak he was if he...shamed himself by screaming and running. Of course, with her present hopefully she'd be the target instead of himself. When Dimas would thank him, he turned and gave her a odd sort of look. "I... your welcome." He managed to reply. Yes. Smooth..what happened to the silver tongue he had possessed in the last mental hospital? Hmm...it was sort of hard to be conniving when you felt like the only normal thing in the area. Edith gestured to the girls shower room when he spied it. "Here... let's get you cleaned up. We'll talk about other things later."

Dimas followed along behind Edith looking at the back of his head or his shoulders mostly She was not really afraid that anyone else would be around after all she had come by this part of the asylum quite often at this time of night and only once before that day had she come across another person. She still thought it was a bit odd that he wanted to stand guard outside the showers for her. It must be some sort of short man complex or something.
When he spoke again she looked up and at the door to the women's shower room. "Oh...thank you. Though I don't think I will need your help getting clean." she said softly trying to be a bit friendly in a teasing manner. She moved to slide past him and threw the door. "I don't think you would want to go inside and make sure no one is in there with me would you?"

Edith looked at the door, then back up at Dimas. He could not stop his eyes from widening somewhat at the teasing words. Was she....flirting with him? Edith felt himself slowly warming up with a blush. Dimas should not have...teased him like that. Edith's eyes fell downwards as he tried not to let himself become as flustered as he feared he was going to become. "N...no. I...I wouldn't...that is..." He shuffled his feet under him and muttered. "I...could check...real quick if you are okay with that...then I can just wait...outside...." Oh geeze! He had completely forgotten the whole reason as to why he was even doing this!

Dimas could not see his blush in the dark But she gave a nod. She smiled a bit at his struggling. Of course he would not want to help wash her. Not that she would have let him. "Don't worry about it. Though if you wanted to check it out I will wait out here for you making sure no other girl walks in wail you see if it is safe for me to wash up." She leaned in and flicked on the dull lights to the bathroom before she moved to lean against the outside wall.
She wondered if she should slip into her pajamas after her shower like she planned or if she should get back into her clothes. Minus the bra her pajamas covered up more of her body so she would get into those after she got the much needed water on her.

Why was he doing this? Seriously? Edith's head gave a faint nod to Dimas before he crept into the girls bathing area. Sure...this was a great excuse to poke around a room he did not belong in. At least in all but name. But the question as to why he was going this far out of his comfort zone for a girl he had meant to be taking advantage of pestered him. Edith checked the stalls for the toilets, then wandered around inside the shower area. He wasn't doing much more then presenting a target to any would be attackers at this point, as his thoughts were so seriously distracted. When his meandering led to him being unscathed, he crept back out to where he had left Dimas. "Kay. It's..um..empty." He muttered under his breath.

Dimas waited quietly outside for him. She tried not to laugh at the thought that if there was trouble she would more than likely run in to save him even if it meant farther trouble for her, a young woman living alone in a strange place with crazy people every where. But she thought it was very kind of him to be willing to check it out for her. Though sadly it meant she would have to take a quick shower. Her body shivered at the thought and she almost jumped when he came back.
"Oh okay...thank you. I will take a short one. So you don't have to wait long." She said and slid past him into the bathroom. She looked at the shower heads and felt a urge run threw her to just turn one on at stand in it fully clothed but she kept her cool enough to strip first putting her clothes and towel on a dingy chair. She moved to one of the shower heads and turned on the water not even worrying about the young man outside the bathroom or the fact that as the first bit of water hit her the glow from her skin brighten up more. Giving the room a more lava lamp like glow to it.

Edith used his time outside the bathroom to clear his head. With the girl gone he realized just what it was that was truly causing him to feel so off. it was a -girl- and she was not teasing him. Edit crossed his hands behind his back and glanced down the halls while standing guard. Ah! Of course! Looking the way she did...the odds of her finding a normal looking guy to chat with her casually was probably really low. Edith lifted a hand and ran it through his hair as he started to grin. This could be a very good thing for him, he had not even realized it. Some of the weird looking girls...they could not have many options for normal looking guys around here. Short as he was...that could be a great sign for him. No more playing bottom to some insensitive...
Edith shook his head to keep himself from getting too caught up in himself. First he needed to establish himself, and who knew? There could be someone more suitable to him in here...of course...Dimas was a aquatic sort of girl...and that fit in excellent with his future plans. Edith glanced over his shoulder and considered peeking inside. Would he get caught? What would she do if she saw?

As soon as the water hit her Dimas' body nearly sang to her. She could feel the cool water slicking her flesh and though water and her had a very tense relationship when it showered down like this she loved it. She leaned forward and rested her head on the cold tile wall just letting the water flow over her. She hated that she felt so good when under it. Nearly like a whole other person.
It was hard not to forget someone was waiting for her. Her mind drifted and the glowing markings on her body started to shift into a more purpleish color. As far as she was concern right now she was the only one in the world. She would not have heard if someone opened the door, or even came it. It would not be unless someone was near enough to touch her or if someone turned on more water that she would be aware someone else was there. Though if someone spoke to her that might work too. Surly sooner or later if she forgot to continually remind herself someone was outside Edith would have to knock and ask if she was alright.

Oh...who was he kidding?
Edith opened the door and slowly slipped inside. he could hear the water running in a shower and felt his lips pulling upwards into a mischievous smile. He never would have had a chance such as this outside the Asylum. Glancing about, he began to tip toe towards the sound of running water. Of course, he knew that if he was caught by her, it would only make things more difficult for him to regain her trust later. So...he had to be careful of course...
"Dimas?" he called out, maybe a little too softly to be heard...but it was the start of a 'excuse' in case she happened to catch him at this. "Dimas?" Just a little louder as he peered around a corner in search of the glowing girl.

From the farthest shower the purple glow loomed threw torn curtains. Even with the dim lights of the shower on the glow was hard not to see. And as Edith creeped closer he would be abled to see slender dark feet with glowing marks that suggested the marks he had seen on her body when her clothes were on were in fact cover her entire body. even the souls of her feet were glowing.
His first call of her name did not get a response and it was not hard for him where he was standing to see clearly, threw one of the large tears her round backside glistening with water and something else, hypnotic patterns shifting from reds to rosy shades of purple.
His second call though did cause Dimas to lift her head Dark strands of black hair hair sliding down her back and a flash of blue to move over her. "Edith? O...oh sorry. I...I am getting out. I...I got distracted." she said and her hand turned the water off. "I am sorry I will be right now." she said in almost a whisper and started to turn toward the curtain before she reached for a towel and wrapped it around her. "Just...let me dry off and we can go and look for your things."
It did not take long for her to dry off. She did not seem to see him on the other side of the current and soon she was dressed and ready to go out with him.
