While Asuka sorted the bugs, she was starting to lose hope but it was right when Hibari spoke that tears could be seen as she was told that her dinner wouldn't be bugs anymore. "T-thank you Hibari!" she said to him with a happy and relieved tone. She quickly closed the bags with bugs in them and rushed towards Hibari. "You saved me." she said with a lower voice and bowed to thank him for the bento he offered her.
Haruka took the bento, one that she didn't think she would be able to finish by herself, and started eating the food inside. And she was right, Haruka couldn't eat more than half of what was in the bento, it was too much for her. After what Hibari said about food going to waste, she wouldn't allow that food to be thrown away, but she wondered if it would be alright to eat what was left of it tomorrow. She closed the bento and put it back inside Hibari's backpack, hoping she wasn't being rude by doing that without asking first. "I'm...going to eat the leftovers tomorrow kay?" she asked even though she wouldn't wait for a reply. "Once more, thanks..." she said and then headed close to the campfire. Asuka had already wrapped herself in a blanket and fell asleep. She would try to sleep too, while not too far from the fire since she didn't bring a blanket. After around 10 minutes, Haruka managed to fall asleep. It was a tiresome day.

(OOC: So... does that mean Sora is the oddball of the group neutral ? Yay 4laugh !)
Sora took a bit longer than Haruka to respond, but not by much. First, she took a look at Hibari, then at Asuka, and then at the bugs. Truthfully, the girl kind of wanted to try eating insects, just to experience something new. However, Asuka showed indifference at what the group ate while Hibari had offered her his own food. In that light, it would be much rude to refuse Hibari and would be perfectly fine to refuse Asuka, meaning that Sora had best take the bento she was offerend. In another light, however, the girl kind of felt guilty at having to take someone's lunch. Not to mention, as mentioned before, she actually wanted to eat insects. These thoughts and similar opinions raced through Sora's head as she tried to decide. Finally, a moment after Haruka had accepted, Sora placed on an energetic and grateful smile as she hopped up from her piles of herbs and bowed in thanks, "Like what Haruka said, Thank you! I'll try my best to repay you somehow!" before walking over and taking the bento Hibari offered her, bowing once more as she took it.
Sora had to admit, it did seem like Hibari carried a lot of food, much more than the amount he had confessed to earlier. the girl guessed, not without concern, . Sora ate the bento neatly, dividing everything into half before she began eating. She then make sure to only have her utensils touch the half that she had chosen to eat. Like Hibari, Sora was a big eater. However, she was both younger and smaller than Hibari, so just half of his bento would be good for the girl.
When Sora was done, the girl neatly closed the bento and watched what Haruka did. Sora then mimicked it a bit as she thanked with a bow and then asked, "Thank you for the meal. Is it alright if I save the leftovers for tomorrow as well, please? I'll carry the bento in my bag so it doesn't weigh yours down." The girl looked around as Haruka and Asuka fell asleep, somewhat sad that they had retired for the night so quickly. The girl had wanted to share her sweets.

There is a dragon hidden in the clouds
As two of them accepted the bento he offered, Hibari kept the third one for himself. "You're welcome." he said to them as they took the bento. It seemed that Asuka still had her own lunch so he did not worry about it. He ate the food while enjoying the taste of the meal he had prepared with his own hands. Hibari couldn't help but feel proud of his own skills, even though it was still far from his adoptive father's. Well that was not his goal nor the way he used to get himself money so he didn't care much about that.
"It's alright to finish it tomorrow, it is late already and I didn't really think you would eat more than half of the bento." Hibari replied to Haruka and then said almost the same to Sora as she said basically the same thing. He did not really care that Haruka put the bento back in his backpack, she didn't have one to put the bento in so it was better than leaving it on the floor. Sora, on the other hand, seemed to not want to bother Hibari and decided to carry the bento in her own bag. It wouldn't be a bother but he didn't feel like giving a reply as the youngest one decided that without thinking twice.
It didn't take long for him to finish his meal without leaving any leftovers, just a few minutes after Sora and Haruka had finished their meals. He put his empty bento inside his backpack, below Haruka's, and closed the backpack. "You should get some rest too Sora." Hibari said to the girl and then headed to the campfire. "Since I didn't bring a blanket I guess I'll have to stay close to the fire." he said while keeping his voice low to not wake Haruka and Asuka up, yet he doubted Sora woldn't have heard it. He sat down close to the campfire, and decided to get the rest he deserved. He got into the most comfortable position he could and was ready to sleep. "Night." he said without even noticing it. Hibari fell asleep a few minutes later.

Sora nodded quietly in thanks as Hibari moved closer to the campfire. As he fell asleep, the girl put the bento in her pack along with the herbs she had collected--hey, it was best to keep them just in case they were needed later.
The girl took one look around at the entire group, all of whom were sleeping, and made another decision. Pulling her bag of sweets out of her pack, the girl took out a handful of random candies, chocolates, etc. before putting the rest of sweets back in her pack. The girl then pulled herself onto a tree branch that was still within the bug net with her one free hand and settled herself as comfortably as she could. The youngest was also the farthest from the fire and in the most precarious position, but that was just what she needed. The slight chill and the need to remain balanced will help her stay awake, so would the sweets of course. Furthermore, her distance from the fire will also help her keep everyone in her field of vision, making it easier to see that nothing went wrong with them.
As she settled in for what was likely a long night-watch, the girl nibbled on her first sweet, a round chocolate ball. the first bit, which only took off only a third of the chocolate ball, immediately dispelled the drowsiness that the girl was feeling. With a start, she sat up as the sugar entered her system. "Right then!" Sora whispered quietly but with as much enthusiasm as her usual voice had, "Watch-watch time!".

((Go ahead and post waking up, getting breakfast and stuff taken care of etc. I'll have "Asuka" sleep in and we'll jump right into the mission my next post. Sorry I'm a little busy these days so I cant be as involved as I would like to be.))

Haruka woke up at a long night of rest. Her eyes slowly opened as she noticed the light of the sun that brightened the dark bug forest. 'It's morning already...?' she wondered while still feeling sleepy. Haruka brought her hands to her eyes, rubbing them softly and took a better look around as she confirmed that it was morning already. It seemed that she was the first one to wake up. She glanced over the others but noticed that Sora was on a place higher than them. Haruka looked straight at where she could sense Sora's chakra. The girl was on a tree branch that was inside the bug net. 'Did she stay awake the whole night?' she questioned herself about what Sora had done. 'Won't she be tired?' Haruka continued to wonder as she got up. She preferred to not say a word about that until the others wake up and Sora decides to get down.
Haruka decided that it would be better if she were to prepare herself for the mission as the others were still asleep, but she didn't want to wake them up with any noise she could make so she remained still, quietly while reading a pocket book she had with her. It was nothing important nor expensive, just a book she liked.

Sora stifled what must have been the hundredth yawn she had made during her time awake. A rustling of clothes caught her attention and the girl quickly looked down to the source, Haruka. As her friend looked up, Sora did her best to erase any signs of drowsiness and lack of sleep that might have been apparent on her face, although the light shadows underneath her eyes were kind of hard to make disappear, and gave a cheerful smile and wave as a way of saying good morning silently. As Haruka completely woke up and began reading a book, Sora began thinking of how it would be safe for her to sleep now. It was natural, she was only twelve and even with sugar all-nighters were hard on the girl. However, before she could think further on the idea, not even considering getting down from the tree so she wouldn't fall off while sleeping as she was likely to do, the girl nodded off to sleep. Well, to be more exact, it was more of a short nap considering her circumstances.

After resting during the night, Hibari woke up and could feel that he was completely rested, even though the floor was not the most comfortable place to sleep on. The campfire was not lit anymore as there was nothing to keep it lit during the whole night until the morning. "Morning." Hibari said to Haruka as she was clearly awake, though she was reading a book. He took a look around and saw that Asuka was still asleep, but he didn't see Sora within the camping area, at least not on the floor. Her scent was still close so he started to look around until he noticed she was on a tree branch that was within the net.
The genin walked to the tree and looked up "Sora, what are you doing there?" he asked the girl without noticing she was asleep. 'Don't tell me...she remained there since last night?' he wondered. If that was true, not only it would probably be another reason for Asuka to complain but it would also be troublesome for the mission. He didn't know what Sora did so he just stood there waiting for a reaction from the girl.

Asuka awoke to find that the team did not appear to be doing anything. Even Breakfast had been neglected, which was something the woman had not expected considering the long trip they had made the day before, not to mention the long day they would have today. Sora, the poor girl, had been smart enough to keep watch during the night. Unfortunately for her, no team members had relieved her. The young genin would be tired and relatively useless all day. This was Hibari's and Sora's fault, and something that would be touched on during debriefing later on.
She folded her blanket quietly and put it in her bags, then pulled out one of the Aburame clan's signature bug-boxes. Placing it in the middle of the campground and then opening her breakfast She started explaining their task. "Alright, We don't have all day so let's get cracking. We are looking for a rare bug. Since you aren't really experts we'll start with the easy, less dangerous." She took several bites of her breakfast and allowed the team a little time to assemble. "There are several large spiders lurking in these woods, I need you to find one with a large white X on it's back." She took a bite from some onigiri. "It's a bug that hunts the Aburame clan's kikaichuu bugs, which means it can be valuable for detecting little spies. I need you to find two of them, and get them into seperate compartments of that bug box without killing them." As she finished a small cluster of kikaichuus landed on each team-member's shoulder. If they couldn't figure out what they were for then the poor genin were hopeless.
((Alright, Basically you have 5 posts to find each bug. Every turn, they are to roll dice. If the proper number is rolled, the spider is found.
roll a normal 4 sided die. If you get a one, you get what you are looking for, if not... Then it was a failed attempt. If you don't have any success then we will just end the day with an angry lecture from Asuka. Go ahead and do breakfast and stuff, but we should probably get going so we can get back and maybe start training for that exam))

"Huh? Hm?" Sora responded promptly but sleepily as she woke up from her nap with a shake. Of course, the action caused the girl to tip a bit too much to one side and the next thing the girl knew, there was a crash she was lying face-down on the ground, her head throbbing. "Ow! I'm awake! I'm awake!" Sora reacted to the pain of the fall with a quick jump up and a jittery shiver to shake off what sleepiness she could, even if it was temporary.
As Asuka began explaining, Sora approached the group, taking the bento she had saved from last night out of her bag as she did. The girl took a quick glance at it and realized that all of the sweets she had eaten to keep herself up during the night had quite ruined her appetite for breakfast. Still, though, the girl could all but hear her mother lecture her about how she couldn't survive only on sweets and took several mouthfuls from the half of the bento she had before closing it and saving the rest for either lunch or a snack. As she ate, Sora listened carefully, filing away all of the information her ears soaked up. When a cluster of kikaichuus landed on Sora's shoulder, the girl looked at it for only a moment before realizing what they were for. At least, she thought she did and even though she really didn't like the idea, the girl couldn't think of any other way. There were hundreds of spiders in the forest and thousands of insects/bugs. The only way to find the needed spider would be to use the kikaichuus as bait.
After putting the bento back in her bag, Sora pulled out several lollipops from her seemingly bottomless bag of sweets and then began sucking on one, hoping the sugar would ward off the sleepiness she was feeling. The others, the girl offered to Asuka, Haruka, and Hibari with a cheerful, "Lollipop?".

Haruka had been waiting for Hibari to wake up so she could get the bento she had put back in his backpack. She wouldn't feel right if she opened his backpack while he was asleep. "I'll...get the bento okay?" she asked him but didn't really wait for him to reply and got the bento. It was the one on the top, it seems that Hibari put her bento above the others. Haruka began eating the food she couldn't finish before. By the time she finished, Asuka began explaining. She put the empty bento back in Hibari's backpack and looked back at Asuka. 'Spiders...ugh...' she thought as the explanation of what kind of bug she would be looking for wasn't the most pleasant thing to hear. As the small cluster of kikaichuu bugs landed on her shuolder, she had a displeased expression on her face. She was not that good when it comes to bugs but spiders were the kind of bugs she hated the most. Haruka knew that the kikaichuu bugs wouldn't harm her to she didn't care much about them being on her shoulder but the thought of maybe picking up a spider sent chills down her spine.
Haruka already knew what she should do so the only thing left to do was to find and catch the bug. 'The spiders hunt these bugs...now I'll just have to use them as baits...' she picked one of the bugs with her hand and then turned to Sora as she was offered a lollipop. "Thanks but I'll pass." she said to Sora and turned back to Asuka. "What are we going to use to catch the bugs? We will put them in that box, alright but are we going to catch them with bare hands?" she asked. Not only she didn't like the idea of catching spiders with her hands, she didn't know if it would be possible. Those spiders are supposed to hunt the kikaichuu bugs so they would probably have to be faster than them., depending on how fast it would be troublesome to catch them without any kind of hunting net. "Do genjutsu affect them?" she asked trying to find any way to stop the spiders from moving before catching them. 'If they are affected by genjutsu then I would be able to do it...' she thought.

"You're shinobi, I'm sure you can think of something." Asuka responded, finishing the last of her meal. She sat against a nearby tree. "Your hands should work just fine as long as you dont smash them. Don't worry, their bites aren't dangerous to humans."

Hibari's doubts were cleared as Sora fell off the branch. It was obvious that she remained awake the whole night, even though it wouldn't be needed considering there was a bug net surrounding them and the fire would help to keep other bugs hidden. Also, the very presence of them, asleep or not, would prevent some bugs from showing up. But as what's done is done, Hibari walked back to where his backpack was since everyone was awake already.
Haruka asked him permision to get the bento she had eaten half of previously. Hibari nodded right away giving her a clear yes, but even if he didn't do anything it didn't seem like she wouldn't take the bento. Fortunately Hibari wasn't the kind of person to care about small things like that. Right after Haruka took the bento, Hibari opened his backpack and pulled out of it a smaller bento, but still bigger than half of the others. He opened it and ate his breakfast while Asuka explained. Once Asuka was finished explaining and Hibari had finished his breakfast, he put the bento back in his backpack. Haruka had already finished the one she was eating and had placed it back in his backpack.
Concerning the explanation given by Asuka, Hibari had no doubts on how to do it, using the bugs that landed on his shoulder as baits would be the most efficient way to catch those spiders. He didn't mind using his own hands to catch the spiders, it would just make the hunt interesting. "I'm going to start now then." Hibari told them and left the area surrounded by the bug net.
Outside, Hibari picked one of the bugs that were on his shoulder and placed it on a tree nearby. If there was any of those spiders nearby then it was probable that it would come out. Unfortunately, until now no spiders were lured by the kikaichuu. Also, at that moment Hibari felt as if he was being called by someone. A voice. Hibari. There was something within that forest that spoke directly into his mind. 'What...?' he wondered. The genin had no idea of what was going on. The source of the voice that echoed in his mind was a mystery to him.
