"Unfortunately for me, that is absolutely true," Jabari admitted, wincing at his fate. "But I have no choice. I've got to focus on the task at hand before contemplating my love life. If anything I'll go chasing females in the rogue lands once I'm not a ligi anymore. They won't have heard of me there."
He glanced up, seeing that the path was about to fork. "I should get going, though. The longer we chat the more people might think we're plotting something. Other than how to get girls."

"Fair enough." Though going into the rogue lands for girls wasn't such a bad idea. None of them would know what his rank meant there. In fact, it might sound like something really important and positive to an outsider.
Tassos ears folded back as he saw the fork in the road. Jabari had a point about others getting suspicious about them talking so much, but that still didn't make it any less frustrating that he had restrictions on how much he could interact with his own family members.
"Your right, and anyways I don't want any of those huntresses seeing me with you. Guilty by association and all that." Tasso let out a deep hearty laugh that only such a bulky lion could produce before quieting back down.
"Please take care of yourself Jabari. And try not to get in too much trouble." He nodded to his older brother before he began heading down his respective path. However symbolic this all possibly could be, Tasso was not sure. He did know that whatever the future had in store would eventually reward them for all their family had sacrificed.
