 Now toosh wiggling was more then an acceptable dance form. In fact as the Castor scareon wiggled it's little toosh, it considered itself to be a total badass. A toosh wiggler of wigglers. Yet it looked like it was awaiting a partner. The tail flopped about, wiggling and the scareon pranced about, with what looked like a grin on it's features. Israfel looked on mortified.

Cam the Cthulhu had been bubbling in it's treasure chest the entire night, stewing in madness. It couldn't sleep, because there was so much noise in the room that day. So many noisy people stomping around. WHY were there so many people in Riley's dorm?! It was DISGUSTING. When it had all finally quieted down, and it was sure everyone had left, Cam had climbed out of his treasure chest and shook itself dry. It would claim revenge on this injustice, oh yes. Oh yes. It had followed the students to the dance, and it was currently hiding underneath a table, waiting. Watching. It caught sight of a pen filled with other minipets, and there it saw.. the most beautiful sight in the world. Oh, those tentacles. Those tentacles. Why did Trixie have to taunt it like this. It could no longer play at subterfuge, now that it knew the lovely little purple monster was flailing around inside that pen. So instead, it grabbed the tablecloth it was peeking out from under, and tugged - amazingly, the entire tablecloth slid out from under all of the treats, without overturning things. It shred the tablecloth, and tied seven strips around it's belly. Then it jumped into the pen, snatching a black rose from the decorations and holding it in one tentacle. With the flair of a goddess, Cam performed the most rambunctious and horrific dance of the seven veils that had ever been seen, pulling off a strip every so often and throwing it casually at Trixie. The table it had been hiding under suddenly broke a leg, and the entire contents it held slid right off onto the floor. Did I forget to mention that Cam had been gnawing on that leg the entire time? So sorry.

Master Baiter wasn't a scareon suited for partying, but when she saw her demon heading out for the night all fancied up, she thought it might be best if she followed him. Sadly, it turned out that he was on his way to one of the dumbest and most boring gatherings she had ever seen. Apparently there was some sort of competition going on as well. When it appeared there was a break in the action, Master took the floor, goading several nearby Kushi Kushis to join her in an impromptu line dance. Too bad it sucked. Hissing at the terrified creatures, and even going so far as to swipe at a runty pink one, the phoenix scareon took her leave. Parties were for squares, man.

Despite being a very vital part of his Cerberus owner's Scarentine's Party outfit, Princess Cinders had wandered away from the boy and his obsessive primping, hoping to find something more interesting. Lo and behold, a dance party! Princess Cinders, contrary to his ridiculously effeminate name (Thackery never claimed to be a genius when it came to minipet genders, come on), knew how to bust a move like a real G. And not the monster, either - the really cool guys that all of the songs from the human world talked about. He pantomimed popping his collar via the large tuft of fur on his chest, and performed the fluffiest rendition of Thriller ever, chewing on a cherry stem all the while. The dance was finished with an expertly executed tail-bounce-into-a-pawspring, his large, fuzzy tail thumping down in front of him like a curtain. Dazzled.

Castor might not have been the most graceful thing on the dance floor, but his flirty little partner was certainly a bit more skilled! Or perhaps she simply cared more about how she looked? It was a strange sort of robot that undulated a bit more than maybe any robot should have done, her movements stiff but not embarrassing. Thank Jack for that!
When she got close to Castor, the little blue-haired Scareon did an odd little shuffle so that her side bumped up against his and with a little chirp, twined their tails together. It was like holding hands while dancing, only much more practical.
Thus twined, she started to dance again. Maybe she could help him learn something!

Eridanus wasn't sure what he was doing, of course he could carry a beat and keep a tune but dancing? All he did when he was listening to music was sway to the beat. He's not sure how Alcyone managed to convince him to do this but before he knew it, he was on the dance floor. All eyes were on him and he attempted to bob his head to the beat and sway his tail around. Beginning to feel the music, Eri managed to move around a little more but then all of a sudden he falls flat on his face. Dear god... He was never listening to Alcie again.
His attempt to recover from the incident was futile and now he just made a fool of himself in front of all the other minipets. Trying to cover up how he really was beginning to dislike dancing, Eri quickly shuffled off of the dance floor and went looking for a mirror to check if there was any evidence of his fail.

His owner had locked the door and the windows to prevent him from following her... But he found the key to the window, and with goody-two-shoes Pugs' (forced) help, managed to get it open. Yes, he was free. Free to roam the school grounds in search of Lizzy. Free to destroy her date for this dance she had been so excited about - no boil is allowed to go near his owner!
Unless he approved of them, of course.
Following the sound of noise and music, he soon arrived at what seems to be the cafeteria of the school - at least, it smells to him like one. Sneaking in was easy, but he somehow found himself in the company of other Minipets rather than the stuents; other Minipets can't snuggle him. Only students can... Still, all that dancing looks like fun, and it would be nice to show them all what dancing really looks like.
With a grin, Rosenthal hopped onto the dance area, standing on his two (rather stubby) back legs and balancing on them as he swayed happily to the music, short tail wiggling behind him, ear wings spread out. However, just as the dance reach its climax (or what was the climax according to him) he tripped and lost his balance, falling to the ground.
Well, his pride hurt more than the sensation he felt on his bottom at the fall.

Amethyst was ready to rock this. She was already an experienced dancer, but she soon fond that among other minipets, she had a severe case of stage fright. She clicked her beak and moved out onto the dance floor, holding out a wing and rockin' a robot dance with only half a battery. >_>

Kami had started off pretty well awesome. She started slow then turned into a breakdance! Holly clapped along for her pet. Sadly Kami spun the wrong way and into a few tables. Whoops, oh well it was still pretty sweet.

It was pretty obvious which minipet had won the show -- and hearts -- of the audience! The fluffy blue Boafox held no competition except perhaps Witch herself. In fact, they would have made a great team and if she hadn't been so worn out from her own dance, she would have joined him. She walked over to her mistress and tugged on a loose bandage. Rain pulled a piece of Scarentine Candy from her pocket and placed it in the tiny hands that awaited it. With a big grin, Witch presented the candy to the pretty Boafox. He deserved it! ((Congrats Nothing Yet, you win a piece of Scarentine Candy! Since she was the only one to roll within the winning bracket, I will raffle off two more pieces of candy among all the entrants. <3 !))

It didn't matter that a good chunk of the music had stopped playing or that minipets had stopped dancing. The scareon duo were in their own form of la-la land. Tails curled, they spun around half haphazardly, to enamored to notice how they looked. While cute, they were rather clumsy dancers, and Israfel was tempted to just kick his Scareon for such a lack of refinement. The siren wouldn't get this chance however, as the two started chirp and purr and look like the minipet version of love birds. Er. Scare birds? Whatever they were, the pair dashed to the doors leading outside, running into the moonlit distance. Tails curled tightly as they left.
