He continued with his work, but gave a small smile.
"Please do not trouble yourself. It is my mess after all, and my responsibility."
He piled the books back onto a shelf and started to rearrange a few bottles filled with odd liquids and herbs.

She bowed her head and smiled
As true as this may be, I still feel as if I should help. Please if you need my help, never hesitate to ask. I refuse to allow such a wonderful person like yourself be seen as someone who should fend for themself and be ignored.
A slight flash of anger showed in her voice, but not directed towards Tuomas. She took a deep breath to calm herself, and moved herself back in her seat, folding her hands in her lap.

Tuomas looked up at the infliction in her voice, but he continued to hurry with his work.
"It has been such a long time that my lord has had so many visitors. I hope that you and the others are being treated kindly."

Oh yes, most definitely. Everyone here is so kind and respectful for the most part. And if something is to get out of hand, Lord Katsuto of course fixes the problem in some way. But I feel horrible knowing your in here all by yourself, secluded from everyone. It's not healthy Mister Tuomas.

"You may be right, but it has become very normal for me. I don't really do well with crowds of people. Also, silence helps me think at times, and I can't leave my lab for too long periods of time."
He finished straightening the mess as best as he could and lit a few more candles to replace some of the dying flames. Crossing over to the stone slab, he straightened the wrinkled sheets, careful not to disturb the body on top before grabbing an extra chair and bringing it over to sit near his guest.

He looked over to the dead figure, and then back to Kirche.
"Her name is Ari. Well, it was at least. She was one of the first visitors here. It was a time of hardship, and the tale is quite painful. I'm sorry. I can't really say much more without permission." He bowed apologetically.

She placed her hand on his head and ruffled his hair a bit
I've had sadness occur in my life and I know some things are just not meant to be said by some people...
Kisses his forehead in a motherly fashion

Ah, but I am no more wise than you or any other creature whom roams this land. I just veiw the world in a different light and refuse to allow judgement and words of misunderstanding to get in my way. I know what I believe is right and I shall not be told I am wrong without factual research and convincing passion. If I've learned anything in all the years I've been alive, is that people only truly believe in what they are passionate about.

And I hope to learn much from you. I was never really able to get into the whole scientific ordeal, but I've always been curious about Alchemy...
Kirche streched her arm out with her hand wide open, her face was playful but serious
I promise to teach you everything I know about life and love, if you promise to teach me all you know about Alchemy.
