Well, then ? How silly. "It's fine." She waved her hand as dismissal of the matter, all smiles again. Normally this would have been harder, but again ? Life-saving, and all that.
It was kind of a big deal.
"Where do you live, then ?" She offered. "We can just walk each other home." Really, it was silly to fight over something like this !

Tony got the distinct feeling that she didn't want to waste any more time or effort on him. He nodded his head, glad that she was alright.
He jerked his thumb over his shoulder, indicating where he lived, then motioned for her to lead the way.
He would walk her home first, then head back. And he did just that, not speaking much, as he didn't want to make it any worse. Once they got close he bowed his head and awkwardly said goodbye, apologizing again and wishing her well before he turned to head back the way he had come.

Ashley didn't talk much in return - what could she say ? Something seemed to bother him, and she honestly had no real idea what. Maybe it was just the monsters. Yeah.
"I wish all this stupid... monster and gang business would end. That things could be like they were back when I was a kid." Destiny City hadn't been the most perfect place in the world... but it had been once so much better than this.
"Thank you." She said to Tony when they were in front of her home. "stay safe... okay ?"

Tony laughed, nodding slowly. He agreed with her, in a way. If there were no more monsters, they would all be much better off. But there were still those other villains, those Negaverse people, out there, making life impossible for the civilians of the city as well as the senshi. He was of the mind that there would always be something troubling them.
But he was also thinking that they could do something about it.
Just what, he wasn't sure yet, and that troubled him more often than not. He was beginning to resent the feeling of helplessness that came over him whenever a monster appeared and a senshi had to jump in to save him. Why could he not help them? Days like this, when he could help someone else fight off a monster without super powered help, reaffirmed the opposite feeling. He could take pride that, some days, he was helping.
It was just a struggle, to balance the two. He needed a happy medium.
"You're welcome," he said, smiling in his friendly way. "I'm sorry about all that mess." He chuckled and nodded again, making sure she got into her house safely before he made to walk back the other way. He easily became lost in thought once more on the way home.
