She giggled thinking about The Badger Clan. " Uh, well, I love it so far.
Everyone is so nice and seem to care about each other.
I can't wait until Quidditch starts, It'll be fun cheering for the team.
Do you play for your house team?"
She looked him over thinking that he would probably make for a Chaser or Seeker even.

 He listened patiently to everything she said. "Uh ya I tried out for keeper actually" he said smiling as he remembered his tryouts. "I really liked it, a lot more than I thought I would" he said cheerfully. "I cant wait to play in an official game!"

Her eyes twinkled as she imagined playing.

Nevin laughed, "ya! that would be great !" he said smilng. "i do too, the freedom you feel when in the air is just incredible!!" he said in a slightly dreamy tone. ((sorry for the short post...))

"So tell me about your family. I'm an only child, do you have any siblings?" ((Same here LOL))

Nevin giggled at the first years reaction. "I thought I mentioned about my twin sister earlier" he said trying to remember if he had or not. "For the rest of my family I have my father who is the one with magic in the family and my mother is a muggle" he said with a smile . "There names are Felix and Corrie." he continued, " Dad likes us to learn NOT to depend on magic as often as possible. I think that's rather smart. What about your parents?" he questioned.

"Oh, yes, sorry, you did mention your sister.
I guess I got so excited I didn't think about what I was asking." She blushed a bit.
He's only partial blood. I like him already...
"Um, well that's a rather deep subject to get into, so If you don't mind I think I'm going to change the subject on you yet again."
She nervously stroked the piece of hair she had been playing with.
"I've been thinking lately about what I would like to do after Hogwarts.
I know it seems like I'm getting ahead of myself, I mean I am just a first year.
Anyway, what would you like to do after you get out of school? Be a professional Quidditch player perhaps?" She winked at him playfully.

He laughed," no it's ok. " he laughed nervously ,"uh actually I think I said that too. I want to be a Care of Magical creatures teacher" he said rubbing the back of his head nervously. He blushed when he saw her blush and looked away shyly. He looked back smiling, "though you sound like you would be a good Quidditch player"

I've had a lot on my mind with getting used to classes and whatnot.

When he mentioned that she sounded like she would be a good Qudditch player Indala sat back in her seat and smiled at him,
"A girl can dream anyway right?"

He laughed, "It is ok. I understand that stress all to well" He smiled. This conversation was going well. At first he had felt a little left out but not so much anymore. "Well we all need to dream. Without dreams life has no meaning" he said taking a drink of water. " am I right?"

She nodded taking a bite of a roll, " You put it very well." She was quiet while she finished her bite and thought.
"Speaking of dreaming, what kind of Muggle things do you know about?
I've never been around anything Muggle, though I do know about some things.
They are actually quite brilliant, Muggles.
It amazes me how they have found ways to do things without magic."

This new topic made him smile wider. His father always wanted his children to depend on themselves and their own skills instead of magic. "Well I know how to sew, cook, and clean without magic." he started as he thought, "its something my dad wants my sister and I to know. My mother, being the non magical expert in the family is the main teacher."he laughed as he thought of Corrie. She is a lovely lady with a sweet yet vivacious personality. Much like Levana. He thought for a few more moments ,"well I can do quite a bit witihout magic actually..um..is there any specific muggle thing you'd like to know about?" he said laughing sheepishly at his failure to think up anything else.

Now this is an interesting topic, she thought to herself.
"That's interesting. Um I don't know," she thought for a minuet. " What about a rubber duck? I heard a child sing a song about one once."
She remembered that day and smiled.
In preparation for the chance to see the muggle world, she had taken every chance she had to get to know the broom her father owned, making sure that she would be able to control it.
When the time came that she felt comfortable, she had stolen her father's broom and flew out to the muggle streets of London.
She had been punished severely for it, but it was completely worth it.
The effect the trip had on her had caused an appetite to know more about how muggles function.
"I mean what could a rubber duck possibly be used for?"

Nevin could not help bursting out in laughter which he felt was a bit too loud. He covered his mouth to quiet the sound. "Im sorry its just I didn't expect you to ask about that" he said still chuckling. Of everything he was expecting her to ask about, a rubber ducky was definitely not one of them. "Well it is rather simple actually. It is just a bath toy. Children can take a bath and let it float along" he said smiling. It was an adorable question. A faint blush crossed his cheeks as he continued. "Some companies also put this dot on the bottom that turns red if the water is too hot. That way they don't burn the child" he said taking another sip of his water and a bite of his food. "I actually used to have one when I was about five" he laughed as he remembered the abnormally large ducky that used to float in his tub as a child.

She laughed at her own silliness and tried to cover her blush by lowering her head to let her hair fall in front of her face.
"So how does the dot thing work then? How does it change color without magic?"
