OUCH. That hurts as much as when the Ifrit/Shiva tag team in my next chapter of FF VI totally wiped me out.

I guess we should all do what good RPG'ers do. LEVEL GRINDING AH!

Chapter Six: MOM WHY?!



We start out going to our equipment screen. Gotta go through the start menu. Lets click on all the other options instead of equipment...or just skip that and get moving.



Lets equip our new weapon biggrin



Down the stairs...wait MOM?! What are you doing here?



"Well hello there. Great to see you again." Of course...the feeling isn't given back D:



We are clueless as always. Mom has to explain.



!!!THE MASTER DID WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!



Oh god oh man oh...jesus why did he do that?



"MOM YOU ARE JUST MAKING THIS WORSE!"



>/////< "Mom...you aren't helping..."



Of course we have other things to do...with images scarred into our heads.




But we choose to try and figure out the problem with our ally. This shows we do care.



That has to be harsh.



Well as long as you continue to help us out we will be there.



Now that we are on the same page lets get going.



"Huh? Is that an old man over there? Why is he all alone? Lets talk to the creepy old guy."



"I'm old, but I have useful knowledge for you kid."



Lets take up his offer biggrin









Basically, this is some special ore. You get it, and you can power up your weapons. I will be providing an example of this later on. He is generous enough to give you three pieces, even though he seems like a creepy old man.



"But be warned...you may not be able to combine some weapons with this ore. Your guardian beast may not be able to do it."



There is a way to bypass this. It will be a chapter WAY down the road.



Just be careful with your ore. It should have been stressed there.



Again, be careful with your weapons. You do not want to lose precious materials.



Anyways, some good time later, we will be able to make this. It brings us...



Yay! A spear. We finally have a weapon with reach. Time to kill enemies from afar.




Lets take this time, however, to use some mythic ore. We get the Flame Spear. Hey! We got Petrine's Flame Lance a good lance for now!



Oh yeah, this will be useful all right. Best part: IT DOES NOT BURN YOUR HANDS! biggrin



Oh yeah lets equip it now! Lets go fight with this thing.



Down we go into the Labyrinth. This is actually the 3rd floor.



Oh yeah these guys don't stand a chance. FIAH WINS!



Oh yeah those sparks are nice.



And we finish the enemy off with 34 damage AWESOME!



But...we can't move on past this floor. So, we gotta go beat Chaves.



But first, another boring thing...an explanation on the teleporter.










"Zzz...Huh? Oh yeah I get all of this...green things teleport...blue triangles are edible, and heal me?"



Now then, lets go take a look at our stats now. We did so much training, and now it is time to see how much it paid off.



Yeah, we are doing good. This first fight should be a piece of cake! Especially with the flame lance of General Petrine's ours.



And of course...we go to that crystal and save.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed this long chapter. It was longer than the others I think. But it was a fun one.

Chapter Seven: A good fight with a good night afterwards

All right, so we let off after we saved.



Here we are back in our room. Lets hurry up and get a move on. People are waiting to watch our fight.



Getting some good luck can be a good thing.



All right here is the weapon we will be using in the fight. The Fire Spear is a good weapon. THANK YOU PETRINE!



Now we gotta align our support spells that Serene will be using. We have a healing spell, and two water spells. One will change your weapon's element to aqua, and the other speaks for itself.



So out we go!...I don't know why that old man is there but he seems creepy...OH WELL!



"I'm ready...lets go in."



"But first...this is the guy we gotta talk to."




"Yes I am from the Silver Guild. Who else would come here? AND I MADE SURE I AM READY!"



"Must you be so obvious? I swear we already went through this ._.;;"



"I will kick your a** pal...or break your weapon."



"But...what the master said was true. He's big...well guys, you know what they say. The bigger they are, the HARDER they fall razz "




"I am a lumbering man I do not need an ally." Your loss buddy.



"Are you both ready?" We both answer with the obvious yes since we gotta move on.



"Now then we will move on with the next round." That's a shocker. But lets get some music to start this fight. Here is our fight song!



All right I know I posted this before. Look at his stats and compare it to ours. We can win this even though we have less health...wait a sec...those are the wrong stats. Whoops.



There we go better stats! And we start by taking a defensive position.



"Whoa...he can move that sword with one hand...he's tough. But I gotta keep my defense up."



"HA! I STOPPED YOUR ATTACK WITH A PERFECT DEFENSE!"



"URK...well that is just one hit."



"UGH...I'M FALLING!" *Epic flail of whiteness*



*Huff huff* "SERENE! COME AND HEAL ME!"



"Much better. Thanks Serene. Now I will go back to defense. You are not going to win Chaves."



"ANOTHER PERFECT GUARD! Your weapon will break soon pal."



"Damn my guard wasn't as good as it could be but I didn't take much damage."





"YEAH! WE WON...man that was hard, but my defense worked in the end." VICTORY MUSIC!



"WHOO! AND WE LEVELED UP!"



"BONUS! WE GOT THE TECHNIQUE TO FORM HIS WEAPON! YEAH!"



"And there is the rest of the boring results."




"Yeah we get to celebrate!"




"Hey, you lost. Don't be a poor sport buddy."




"NO! I only called my guardian beast once! It was my immaculate defenses that won the fight because you chose to be a beast and attack me!"



"Oh quit your whining I won fair and square."





"HEY! YOU KNOW THE RULES DON'T YOU?! IF YOU CAN'T OBEY THEM THEN IT IS NO WONDER YOU LOST! Go look them up and repeat them till you believe you know them."



Back at the workshop we are doing a bit of celebrating.



Hey! Even our master heard we won...wait heard? DX MASTER! DIDN'T YOU WATCH THE FIGHT?! I OWNED HIM!



But...don't I get to brag? DX



So that makes me better than most people!



But I was master! I held my defense against my large opponent!



Finally...jeez thanks for pointing out the obvious Bron >.>



Now we get to choose where we go to relax after our match. You do this every time you have a match. At one point, it will be special so keep that in mind for who you want to pair yourself with. I will try to go with each route so we can see all of them. Time for some calming music. This seems fitting XD since it is that time



First up is Sanary.




Whoa, she is...congratulating us? That is out of the ball field.



She even remembered what Sakuro said.



You truly are nice to us Sanary.



"Whoa...you believe in me that much?"



Bad thing to say there we don't want her mad at us after this ._.



Oh good recovery. Asking if anything is wrong.




"I need someone to comfort me. My first match is tomorrow and...I don't know how it will end." There there Sanary, we are all here for you.



D: You know this could be used against us later right Elena? "I know...shut up <.<.



SEE WHAT I MEAN?! DX



As long as this doesn't get any worse we should be fine.



...It is a little worse, but not that bad.



"So you are basically going to follow the way you believe a Craftlord should be right?"




We offer her a meal, and she takes it up almost right away. Man I wish I could be there ._.




All right time to switch gears, and go with Serene.



More congratulations. Not that bad getting these as long as it does not go to our head.



"I am saying this just so you feel better, since I only used you once in the fight. The rest was me."



"My father...and your old partner..."






This seems so romantic even though we don't want it to be that way.

But there we go! We beat Chaves! Now we get to move on in the story line finally. Next chapter, we will be heading some places, maybe making some money, and of course getting into some more fights so we can train.

Chapter Nine: Gathering Supplies, Forging a New Weapon, and Getting into a Fight with a True Jerk



So here we are at the save crystal. This is where we left off. Time to go down the stairs.



Hey, another healing crystal. Can you guys guess what this means? GRINDING! But hey a strange door



Oh hey! The motherload here!







Sweet! We got some good items! This means we will be able to make some good weapons!



Another strange door! Lets check it out!



Sweet we find yet another motherload!







Sweet! More materials, and even a healing item!



Man, another jerk!




And he won't let us pass with the same excuse! Still a jerk



I think I had been doing a fight, and showed that even monsters drop materials here o.o




Now this guy...this is a spell sword thing. These drop the mystic ores. I should have done this early on



All right so after some good grinding, we find ourselves back at the workshop. Time to melt down the materials.















Oh man take a look at the end result! We got a lot of materials!



Of course this is the Iron Blade! Those martial ores were to ensure we could make ten of these!



Whee! We are making sure we make the weapons~



Whoa when did Cloud's Buster Sword get in this game? Oh wait this is Chaves' sword...



Guess what we are doing? Yep enchanting this blade YAY!



Check it out! The Aqua Blade!



Of course lets make sure the rest of our techniques are made.



Cool! Now we can attack from a range...I wish






We gotta get rid of some weapons. We need some mats, so it is time to say goodbye to some.



Ugh this thing is so SLOW! It doesn't even seem worth it!



On the other hand, check out this nice weapon!



We move this to slot 2, and if we wanted to, in battle we would press R



Last but not least, the Fire Spear is a keeper as well!



There's our stats...nice aren't they?



Just make sure we save...gotta stay alive eh?



*Sigh* But...we gotta see stalker guy



Elena: OH GOD WAITING?! ARE YOU A MAD MAN?!



Elena: SCREW YOU! I AM REFUSING YOUR DANG OFFER...even though it would help me ._.




The jerk refuses our refusal. How rude! No wonder he is a stalker.




But time to go and find out who we get to fight~



Oh hey someone stops us...say, he seems familiar. Oh yeah, he was at the opening ceremony.



Elena: But of course! Number 1 of the Silver Guild!



Elena: Uh yeah I am. Gonna win it too~




Elena: I swear he didn't hear me. I said I AM GONNA WIN!



We gotta get up in his face about it! YEAH YOU GO!




Oh god this guy is the true definition of a jerk. Take any of the jerks you have met in your life, and they are this guy. I wanna punch him so much.




Elena: Whoa...I forgot you were there for a second eh heh...

Elena: I have a match to get to so please make this quick

Well, we can tell that obviously





Again, we could have...wait that sounds wrong.







She is just placing everything on our shoulders. We may have a match, but...lets go be the good guys here.





And she runs off...great more work for us =_= but once we get there...



She's confronting stalker? What the? Hey...something else is here...meh lets ignore it






Oh yeah we can do this!



But he will play dumb



And give a lame excuse to it as well!









Hey now we understand why she flipped out on us. But stalker guy is being a douche and not giving them back still!




Oh hey, lookie here. It is a jerk! And he has a name...JERKFACE!



And jerk is strong as well o.o





Man, why must we always run into jerks or stalkers, or STALKER JERKS?!




What a brat! He is being so rude!





Oh yeah, we gotta step in and be all badass on him!




Answer: HELL YEAH! LETS KILL HIM! Time for some fight music! RIGHT HERE!













So sorry the two fights seem off compared to each other. However, I had two saved spots. One I beat him by taking his HP down to 0, and this one I broke his weapon. But yeah, he was kind of hard at first o.o




Jerk: "BUT HOW CAN I LOSE!" Us: BECAUSE WE ARE AWESOME!





We get praise, and jerk face is wanting to know what is wrong with himself









Jerk face continues to wonder why he lost...hello because we are awesome. He continues his argument with Sanary till he gets pissed and doesn't want anyone to see him cry like a baby. Shortly after we are reminded of our fight. I hope we are not late.




Oh wow...Sanary really does have a cute side. She truly cares about us. D'aww



And here is what we will be using in our fight. But first...lets check out our new technique.



Those are the mats for Varil's Spear. But we won't make it just yet.



"I swear you asked this beforehand. YES I AM!"




"I wouldn't be here if it was not my match. AND YES I AM READY!"



"Hell no we were not about to forfeit."





Whoa take a look. This guy actually KNOWS to bring his summon beast forward. A nice portal effect as well.



"We should learn that!"




"But...I will never leave your side." More love from our summon beast~





Standard "are you ready?" stuff, but we are confident this time.



"And don't be a crybaby when I win."



Looks like the fights are going by quickly. Eight matches ago we fought, and defeated Chaves big time.



FIGHT!



We start with defense, because we are awesome like that.



"All I have to do is...wait a second OH s**t HIS SUMMON BEAST!" *Zapped* x_x



"Gotta stay in shape...SERENE! I NEED A HEAL!" *Healed* biggrin



Look at our new outfit. That comes from using a defense spell



"Gotta keep our defense...I can't believe I went on the offense for a bit." Then again, I was also doing that to try and break his weapon.





"VICTORY! Now to just shove my blade in this bag." Don't ask me why



And we got Kenon's Axe as a gift!



So close to a level up as well D:





Hey, at least he wasn't a sore loser like Chaves. He took his defeat like a man. This guy has some common sense.







We get congratulated by Sanary and Serene. Such a good thing.





Oh god it is jerk face again. And now he wants to talk to us D:






And he...isn't a jerk. He actually seems nice, up until the end. Great.






And he then leaves...of course we are confused, so Sanary explains that he is now our rival. Better keep track, since in a way Sanary is also our rival.





Just next time, we will have to be careful.

Chapter Eleven: The search for Razzy, meeting a complete stranger, and making new weapons

All right, so here we are again...back in the workshop. We left off right after Bron stormed in on us...man, one of these days it is going to be embarrassing for him, and we will get the chance to yell at him...anyways, lets check the forge. We have some new weapons to check out.




A new sword, and of course Kenon's axe. Personally, I will stick with the Aqua Saber and the Flame Lance instead of the puny sword.



Hey, the jerk that was blocking us is now gone. HUZZAH!



Do my eyes lie to me? If not...SMASHIE SMASHIE!



Whoa, another one of those guys that drops mystic ore. Be careful, since it is strong and has 400hp



Ooh more smashie...and is that a chest I see? SMACK IT!




Ah a kicker potion. These can come in handy later on. For now, we will just pocket them



Lets just smack the teleporter and...wait a second...that hole...does it not draw questions? We better not trip or it will hurt



Lets just make a quick trip and save...you know, this is very convenient. We could go and do some grinding, but...I don't want to bore you guys.



Oh god please tell me we don't have to trip...



We tripped, and fell down the hole...ooh shiny sword aura thingy and a lady



Naturally, we strike conversation. SHE'S A COMPLETE STRANGER!...but we will learn who she is later on





But we have no time for casual conversation, even though she seems familiar. We have to find Razzy



Oh god, why are we having these thoughts NOW?! WE NEED TO FIND RAZZY!





She seems to know something about us, and we don't even know who she is...OMG PLEASE TELL ME WE DID NOT ACQUIRE A STALKER! DX




It seems stalker lady is knowledgeable about who we are, and our goals. Suspicious





Background information...this seems interesting to a plot we can discover throughout the game







Oh man, she saw right through us! But we can hold onto this background information. History always has a way to repeat itself, and we can prevent that from happening if it was a bad thing. But could it really be that related to us?



...well we are starting to get impatient of all of this history, so we need to move on.





Question time! We need to find Razzy, and it is time she helps us for a change...even though she did help us with that background information




"You finally helped me...and gee, maybe I wouldn't have asked that question if I wasn't looking for my friend."






"Gee, thanks for not even offering to help out on this search. Just tell me something I could have figured out for myself."



So...shiny...must...touch...what was I doing again?



THE GAME IS CALLING ME FAT?! HOW DARE IT! I WANT TO BUST IT OPEN NOW!







LETS SMASH THE CAUSE OF THE GAME CALLING US FAT! *SMACK SMACK SMACK!...CRACK!* ..."Uh oh..."

We have two people worried about us...hey, that person was also at the opening ceremony

Well with our efforts, we finally found Razzy. Now if the game will stop being mean to us, things will be good...I swear I have seen this before somewhere







And after what would have been introductions, we move from one issue to another...WAIT! YOU SAYING WE ARE STUCK HERE?! D: NOOOOOOOO!





Well, at least there is hope. Another exit is somewhere around here...lets pray guys. We can't be stuck here all day. We will have a match to go to



Lets take a snooze first, so we recover from any fighting we did before dropping down here



We head out the door, and down we go to see Razzy...and a...giant...spider...oh this won't be good




We have no time to be in awe of this thing...and we better be ready or it will kick our butts







Well, since this may be our only way out, we gotta beat the thing. Except...GOD DANG IT WHY IS EVERYONE BAILING OUT ON US TODAY?!



"Well this is what I get for trying to find you? Fine...I'll beat the thing and escape." Time to fight the dang spider



So here we are against the Yasha Spider. Here's the thing about fighting these summon creatures: You don't know their total hp, so this means we may not know when the fight is over, or how much damage will be done. Lets move on



"SERENE! USE WHIRPOOL!" *Smack'd* Oh right...this isn't Pokemon. FINE USE AQUA TORNADO! *Damage wasn't very effective* DAMNIT!



...I completely forgot to do some more screen capping in the fight, since I got so absorbed into it...SORRY! But we win!





We level up! Now here's the other thing. I believe each of these summon creatures drops an item specific to them. You'll see it going on with each of these...I'll call them elite summon creatures






We get out of the fight, and immediately, Razzy believes we are amazing from the fight...then again, we are so badass. But we don't even get to give her an answer...YES, RAZZY IS A GIRL!...to the question



Anyways, into the room, and more smacking...BUT NO EXIT! D: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!



Major D: now...I wanted to leave



Time to do a U-turn and get out of there...






"Anyone got any ideas...anyone?" *Silence* Damn...




Well, looks like we have to wait for someone to come and find us...*Sigh*





Well, of course we were...and unfortunately, you missed your chance to be our rival. Varil is our rival, and our jerk friend




I'll win of course, so IN YOUR FACE!



...I SO want to pound you here. The game always has a form of twisted humor, and we will see it soon




That's right, we are badass...GOD DANG THOUGHTS ARE BETRAYING ME!




Sorry, but we already promised someone else that we would fight him in the finals. SORRY!




And again, we are not given the chance to give our answer...someone should smack the kid for us





An impossible goal can be made possible...it seems like foreshadowing now.





YEAH! FINALLY SOMEONE CAME TO RESCUE US! The Sanary signal must have been lit somewhere




Up Razzy goes, and...we go over to the bed to rest up once more



Outside we go, and we find a ladder...about dang time





D'aww she was worried about us. She's just trying to hide it





I do have to say that the flustered Sanary does seem a lot cuter than the normal Sanary...oh a new message for us?





"...You were in my workshop?" ...Wait Sanary has a sister?



But we don't know who her sister is, so we just tell her what we saw





Game's twisted humor: Our next opponent is Razzy




Back at the workshop, Bron seems to be doing better than he was earlier







He just had to ask this question right after we rescued her...luckily, we have someone that believes in us




That's quite some determination and confidence in us master...

And earlier when I was making this, it turned out I lied to myself. We do make new weapons



Abysmal...just abysmal. This weapon is so sad...I'll stick to the Aqua Saber



We gained a level after all of our adventures, so we better save





I really should just photoshop this part, since it is always the same response. It would save me the time of copying the same images over and over and over





Well, we had to go and talk to Bron, and make some new weapons. However, we will give it our all, and bring your summon creature forward!





Man, these matches are just coming by so quickly for us...LETS FIGHT!



Here we are against Razzy. Lemme tell you one thing about this fight: I HATE KNUCKLE WEAPONS! THEY ARE THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE!



...Man, my hair will get frizzy D:



Gotta heal up...can't let her win now



"HA! THE IMMACULATE DEFENSE STRIKES AGAIN!"



"QUIT STANDING THERE! ATTACK ME!"



If we aren't careful, we will lose this fight...gotta get strategical here



"Dang...we lost a bit of health, but we broke her weapon...phew."





"So close to a level up as well...just means I will have fun in the Labyrinth later"



Sad Razzy seems sad





"You aren't fooling me Razzy. You are bummed that you lost."







This is further evidence that Razzy is a girl...and wow are we that oblivious?




Well, it looks like we have to go find her...AGAIN!



So up the stairs we go to the third floor



How many times will we run into these guys? A lot









Well, we can't go in that way...and by the way this guy was talking, it would seem that no one has passed this way. Time to look around...but there seems to be no secret paths



"Well, I just want to walk right into a wall"



"HOLY s**t THIS WALL MOVED!" The plan actually worked...JUST THE WAY I WANTED IT TO!



Now we have to sneak around, or else we will get busted






Like so, and be tossed back to the beginning...man, this is not that easy. You gotta make sure your timing is right, so you can get to the far side



After a couple tries, I finally made it here, and I feel victorious...*Flips the guards off* Screw you guys



Hey, the flowers are really here o:




And we once again found Razzy, after doubting she was here





We go from one question to another, and this one we can answer finally




Actually I'm not gonna lie. This is one of the best places to be if you would need to calm your nerves






Well, it seems because of our courtesy to remember her dream makes us a good person





This could have been more of a touching moment...but we are now out of time.

Whew dang. I think I counted 206 images this chapter. I really need to make sure I make updates more often. Next time, we will move to the night, and the next day. *Passes out from all the images once more*

Chapter Thirteen: We better find a way to beat those twins and fast. Getting help from an outside source, and of course cooking is involved!





Leaving the Silver Guild, I decided to have a little chat with Serene. Pressing the R button allows you to talk to your ally. This is helpful if you forget what you have to do like me




We run along and before we can go into the Labyrinth we run into Sanary, who is pitying us.
Elena: I can handle myself Sanary =_=





Elena: Tougher than Varil? You gotta be kidding me...they are more like you.





Elena: No, you only heard the air outside Sanary.







Elena: You are saying one thing, but I can read between the lines Sanary. You truly like me.



And now we find ourselves staring in the direction Sanary went off...this may not be a good thing. Lets go Elena



We warp down to the floor that had the hole on it...I believe it was the 11th floor. We find out that the hole is now gone. Ah well lets move on...




Dang it this is not good for us ;-;






Serene: You mustn't give up! Surely someone here has the key to the path we need to move on!
Thanks for the help Serene! This merely means it is time to leave the Labyrinth again




Oh god we run into Stalker Lady again...and we still have no name for her D:




Elena: Man, can we ever hide something from these people? Stupid game -_-



Elena: WHO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! QUIT BEING MYSTERIOUS...AND A STALKER!
C-calm down Elena...we will figure this out in due time







Elena: So...you helped me out? But I don't know what it is you want from me D:






Elena: Who the...bah forget it. We have a job to do! Time to go find Master Sakuro~!
Now we are on the right pace!

Chaves: I'm just a big, emo, depressed kid who needs to get a life. You will fail because you beat me




Kenon: Thanks for helping me out with our battle. I learned a lot.

We check out the shop and WHOA! This will help us out a lot!



After you run around Middle Wystern...the 2nd level...you can find Sakuro's house right here. It is the upper right hand corner of the area.

All right so we make sure that we know where to go. Once outside, we chat with Serene about Sakuro. Seems that he has always been a bit of an oddball



To the south of Sakuro's house, we will find the Spear Lady





I will admit, my first impression of this girl when I first met her was OMG! I am a lance person. That is why in the later part of the game you will see me using lances and swords ONLY!




Gee, I wonder what gave that away <.<











All right, so it seems this may have come up in the past before. However, we need to get these materials. 1/2 of the items are done now. Time to find the Axe lover's wife.



We come across this house, and inside we will find the one we are looking for
