Round 3!
Seeing everyone else do so well only made the witch straighten up once more when it was her turn. And weren't they done with this final round too? GOOD. This was much harder than she had anticipated and she just wanted to give Galahad his treat and take a nap! "ALRIGHT. Once more, but with gusto!" The witch told the group with a smile and stuck her hand out over the cauldron.
Gusto was something she really didn't need more of. Oops...

ROUND 3
LW's gaze traveled around to each group member as they took yet another shot at this. They seemed to be doing...fairly good, right? The she-wolf had to admit she hadn't been paying too much attention to just how good or bad they were doing. She was too entertained by all of their attempts in general.
Then there was the mimic in her lap. He was not liking the lack of attention and had managed to clamp down on her hand again. Enough to sting and earn an even more impressive glare from her. Not that it had anything on the one Billy Bob turned back on her. Jack damned mimic.
Sighing, she took her turn trying to focus her FEAR into the cauldron. Hopefully she could do well like before, even though she had one annoyed mimic gnawing on her hand.

The mixture had started out orange and stayed pretty orange throughout. An untrained eye would be unable to tell that there was in fact a slight change in color - it was becoming more vivid. As the bubbling slowed and stopped to indicate that the mixture was ready, the mixture was a lovely orange color that looked like the color that glowed from FEAR-infused weapons.
Malcolm had strolled over from Group 1's table with Ayakashi, the Minipet looking rather delighted at the attention it was getting. As the Professor set him down on the table to do his job, he started to smile as he examined the mixture, "This is almost perfect! In fact, most probably can't tell the difference between this and a perfect mixture." Letting out a chuckle, he then stepped back to observe Ayakashi's reactions.
The Minipet, realizing that he was being paid attention to, started to move to each student, sniffing them. It didn't let out a sound as it completed its round before returning to Malcolm, tail swishing behind him.
"Oh? Really now...?" The Professor's smile only grew as he picked the Minipet up, holding him in his arms before addressing the students once again, "Excellent teamwork, everyone pulled their weight and contributed to the success of this mixture! Thank you very much for being the most cooperative group thus far! Hold onto this, it'll come in handy in the future when those gnomes get my office up."
He then held out several small, green tokens before giving one to everyone in the group, feeling rather pleased at the group's display of teamwork. As he handed West a token, he grinned, "I thought there was a reason Vlad took a liking to you..."

[OOC note: Your score is 98 / 6 = 16 which is a good!]

After turning the stove to low, like Professor Malcolm had said, and retrieving a little bit of their mixture to pour into the measuring cup amongst the other things on her desk, LW frowned down at the list of ingredients that was on her desk off to the side. She was supposed to try and pick the right ones? AND BB was supposed to like it? That was asking a little too much. Especially considering that she was not a great cook. But she at least could get points for trying, right?
"I hope we don't blow up the classroom." She muttered to her side at Gabrian.
The she-wolf watched their professor and with a heavy sigh, pried her hand away from her mimic to start grabbing ingredients. Billy Bob growled at having her hand removed, but his curiosity at what she was doing with the edible items drew his interest. What was she doing?
Not being kitchen savvy, LW determined she might do good relying on scent for this. And the small bit of familiarity that some of the ingredients stirred in her mind. Hesitantly, she reached out and grabbed her first choice. Brown sugar. It smelled good too. With a small breath, she took her first step and started the process of mixing her concoction by dumping some of the brown sugar into the bowl provided.
Next, she grabbed the light corn syrup. Her nose wrinkled. It smelled alright. Still sweet. This was one she could remember her mother using before. LW added the light corn syrup. Pausing, she decided to add the light corn syrup again. There. Another step had been taken. This was scary, in her opinion. Although BB was paying more attention to what she was doing now, his little tail swishing and no glare present in his eye. Not that she trusted him.
The next things she grabbed were butter milk and heavy cream. LW dumped them in, stirring the mixture some while she eyed the what her next choice would be. So far everything she had grabbed had been pretty sweet smelling. Maybe she needed to add a little bit of a sour or tart taste in? Her hand curled around a bottle of white distilled vinegar as she poured a little of this in, stirring as she went. The she-wolf leaned towards the mixture so far and sniffed at it. It was alright. It didn't smell horrible. Looking at her ingredients again, she snagged a bottle of honey to add in. Reaching to the side of the saucepan she was mixing in, LW grabbed one of the packets of cat-chup, tossing that in as well.
Finally, she carefully took the measuring cup with some of her groups mixture in it, pouring it slowly into...whatever she had created. As she stirred this, her gaze went over the ingredients again. Nose wrinkling again, maybe she should add something in it to insure the scent smelled alright? And color! It had to have a color. Because she could. So she chose the blue food coloring. Now the scent choices she had to choose from (aside from the mixtures actual scent) were a little harder to pick. Lavender seemed to be a relaxant which was tempting. But LW leaned towards the Ylang Ylang because, from her understanding, it worked like catnip did on monsters. At least on some minipets. Would BB be one of those? Chewing on her lip, LW reached over and picked some of the crushed Ylang Ylang and added it in as her final ingredient.
She stirred until she felt it was ready for the water test. Taking a spoonful, LW dropped it into the water and watched it take form. The she-wolf waited a few minutes before carefully removing the little ball from the water. At first, she thought it was going to flatten, but it remained fairly solid. Until she squeezed it too hard. Then it flattened. It looked like she had created a firm ball.
After one more test, she happily had a several candies to offer to BB and see how the devilish mimic would take to them.

Astra couldn't have been more happier, pleased that she had received a token for her hard work. Pocking the small object, she turned her attention to the front were professor Malcolm was explaining the next part. The first few steps were easy enough to follow; turning the stove onto low heat, filling the measuring cup with their mixture, then pouring it into a saucepan. As she stirred it, she began to wonder what she would put into her mixture. Since she had meat, she would have to use ingredients that would taste good with it. "okay...first I'll start with some Honey... She mumbled to herself, as one of her antenna bent downwards, wrapping around the bottle of honey and letting it drizzle into the saucepan as she used her hands to keep stirring slowly. "Then I'll add some Light Corn Syrup, Heavy Corn Syrup and Maple Syrup" She used both antenna to pick up the various containers to slowly add in each ingredient. "Then I'll use some Salted Butter and Heavy Cream to mix it all up and make it blend" Her antenna then replaced the honey with the jug of water, pouring in just enough so she could mixed it all together. "Now.what would go with the honey...I know!" she now used her hands to pour in a little of the Cream of Tartar, not to much so it would conflict with the sweetner. "That should be right, now I just need to add the raw chicken " she placed the meat in the mixture and kept stirring. "Just a little bit of Crushed Ylang Ylang... and finally I need to add a color!" upon glancing at her Shenglong, she decided she would add the colors Blue and yellow to make green. It seemed like the color ryu would like the most. Once she was satisfied, Astra spooned some of the mixture onto the tray and formed it into a ball, realizing that since it didn't flatten but was still easily malleable, it was a firm ball. In no time at all she had the required amount of candies ready to be served. "Okay Ryu, try some of these!" Feeling proud of her work, she handed one of the candies to her minipet. At first, he didn't seem all to impressed, the smell of it barely catching his attention. He did seem to like the color, however, and he decided it might be worth his time in tasting. He grabbed it, chewing on it for a few moments before swallowing and growling his pleasure. It actually tasted pretty good! ((final scorez! Gabrian tilted his head as he watched Professor Malcom lean over the mixture they had produced; the nix had been almost certain that his group would actually find themselves failing because of him. However, he was actually rather pleased to note that the Professor not only praised their mixture, but gave them some sort of tokens before leaving, "Huh," he eyed his token, pocketing it before turning to look at LW, "I think hell has just frozen over. Did he just say our group's mixture was the best? If he aware my FEAR was dismal during this whole procedure?" he watched as the next part was explained, but leaned into the she wolf to continue whispering, "I think hell my have frozen over, Puppy. What do you say? We might stand a snowball's chance at not burning the classroom. Maybe." The fact they were expecting him to cook on his own had Gabrian looking slightly nervous. However, a small 'churrrrrr' sounded against his ear when his Floresce pressed his head flat against the side of his face, "Alright then," he drawled out with a soft sigh" You'll need to help me then, now won't you?" the pet looked up, but otherwise seemed alert and quite content to help pick out the ingredients, "Let's take the Honey," he wasn't particularly kitchen-savvy (that was Alessa, not him - certainly not him), and honestly, he was simply going on instinct here, which wasn't particularly good. As he stirred the mixture he'd added to the pan, adding the honey and then turning towards the ingredients again, "And... some Maple Syrup and Brown sugar," he personally loved both of those ingredients himself, but he'd never tried to mix them together, really, but then again, he wasn't stopping to ponder that, "Next some... what?" he turned towards Davy, whom was nosing the Unsalted Butter. Without giving it much though, he tossed that in, followed by some Lemon Juice and Crushed Lavender, "Now all that's left to add is some Algea," which he sprinkled over the mixture. He paused for a second as he took in the mixture he was still stirring, watching it take on that white color Professor Malcom had been talking about. Then the demon waited just a few moments before dropping some into the water, letting it take form in order to taste it, "Well," this was mumbled to the floresce whose head was still beside his, "I don't know how it will taste, Davy, but so far it looks okay?" the floresce shool his head and pointed with his tail towards the colorants. Gabrian followed the gesture with his gaze and rolled his eyes, "Fine," that said, he reached for some white and blue food coloring, letting the mixture take on a pale blue color, which seemed almost bordering on grey. Apparently, Davy seemed to approve, given the fact he 'churrrrrred' softly again. The mixture was soft and malleable, to the point it almost flattened like a pancake when he took it out of the water, but he managed to give it form before lowering it down. West grinned and snatched the odd green trinket that Professor Malcolm offered. Damn right he was awesome, and he didn't need some invisible dog to tell him so. He paid scant attention as the professor outlined what they were to do next, but when Malcolm was finished speaking, West wasted no time getting started. He took his cup of the orange slop they'd created, placed it on the flameless burner, then began adding things willy nilly, Master hopping up on the table to interject her unwanted opinion. "'Kay, so..." He lifted a container of maple syrup, touching his pinky to the top of the liquid before tasting it. Hm. None of this stuff was going to kill him, right? West shrugged. "If yer gonna gettall up'ere in m'face, then here." He held the jar up for Master to sniff. "Whaddya think?"The scareon raised her paws to the side of the container and wrinkled her nose at the smell. West chuckled. "Yeah, 'm usin'this," he said under his breath, pouring a fair amount into the FEAR mixture while stirring vigorously. Master seemed to frown as she dug her claws into West's arm, but the boil only laughed some more. "Y'can pick one ifya like," he offered. The scareon seemed appeased by this, nosing the brown sugar nearby. West added some of the dark crystals, then poured in some honey for good measure. Master shrugged, if the slight indifferent rise of her shoulders could be called such. She didn't care one way or the other for the stuff. Once the mixture was... mixed, West turned to the minipet again. "Wha'next?" He normally wouldn't have given a crap what she thought, but this was a class specifically for her kind. Outside of this room it was unlikely she would get such attention. Master didn't appear to be paying him much mind, but when she stuck her face into the heavy cream, he snatched it from her and dumped it into the burbling mixture. "Dun ignore me," he advised, throwing in a measure of bitter-smelling distilled vinegar as a punishment. "Oh yeah," West muttered. It would be useless if he didn't include the damn jalapeƱos after he had gone out of his way to bring them to class. Since the mess he had created was already a pale orangey-tan, West added a bit more cream, then a nauseating amount of red food coloring to bring it as close to his beloved violent pink as he could. He emptied the dough out onto the table and began to shape it, eventually ending up with a candy that resembled... a heart? "Jackdammit, Master. You'd better 'precia'this."(( Mixture good: +5 No scent: 0 Taste your minipet hates (maple syrup): -1 Taste your minipet is neutral to (honey): 0 Taste your minipet loves (brown sugar): +1 Color your minipet is neutral to: 0 Hardness your minipet hates: -1 Smell your minipet is neutral to: 0 Shape your minipet likes: +1 Drawn candeh: +2
