 Jessipuff jerked around to look at Tobuscus as soon as he spoke, stubby little arm moving to poke him instead.
"It's the only way to keep our Mistress' attention!" Granted, it didn't work all that often, but Verveine had introduced her to the other trainer and it meant that maybe she'd have a new friend!
That is. If Tobuscus proved to be friend-material. He was kind of small for a Charmander...
As soon as her hand was released, Verveine cradled her arm against Cherry again, glad to have it back and, more importantly, to have it still attached after that emphatic greeting.
 
The squeal made her cringe once again and the following cry of how adorable Jessipuff was made her cringe another time. But Jessipuff loved the attention, so it was no surprise to Verveine when the Pokemon immediately turned from Tobuscus to be properly cooed at.
"Jiggly! Puff! Puff!"

  What came out of Vixxie's mouth next was a jumble of coos, giggles, and high-pitched baby talk. Her palms came together in front of her, though this time she didn't clap, and instead she kept her fingers laced together. Tightly. To prevent herself from snatching the Jigglypuff up and squishing the poor adorable Pokemon to her chest.
She somehow managed to speak normally after a moment to Verveine, in between each time she childishly gushed. "Where you on your way somewhere?"Standing there, a little awkwardly, as his Trainer turned her attention to the Jigglypuff... Tobuscus shifted from one leg to the other. He was glad that all the fussing was off of himself for once, but now what?
Moving again, inch by inch, the Charmander edged his way towards Verveine and the Pokemon she held. Then he craned his head upwards and peered up at the other Trainer, pointing a front leg at the Cherrim and flailing again a little bit.
If Jessipuff was friendly, even if a bit poke-y, then perhaps Cherry was too!

As soon as the attention was off of her, Jessipuff scooted closer towards Vixxie, standing there at her feet and just staring up at the pink-haired trainer with wide eyes.
"No." she shook her head, eyes drifting down when Cherry latched onto her. "Do not be so shy, Cherry." she mumbled, detaching the Cherrim from herself to plop it on the ground next to Tobuscus and then turn her attention back towards Vixxie.
"No. Just to the field. We do not go out often, but the day is pleasant."
"Eeee!" Cherry let out a high pitched cry and shuffled to hide behind Verveine's legs as soon as she was plopped on the ground. Eyes squeezed tight, she clung to her mistress' leg, wanting to be picked back up, but was unsurprised when Verveine didn't gather her up into her arms again.

"It's beautiful today, I agree!" Vixxie replied amicably, casting a bright smile over to the other girl. It seemed as though Verveine had the same idea she'd had herself. Lovely weather, why not spend some time outside?
"I suppose I shouldn't be letting Tobuscus be the only one to enjoy the sun, but--.." What's this? Lowering her gaze once more towards the Jigglypuff, Vixxie practically beamed. Bending down at the waist again, she carefully reached out, petting one finger lightly across the pink puff's head. "Cuuu~te!"
With his head cocked to the side, Tobuscus watched as the Cherrim glued herself again to her Trainer's leg. Poor little thing seemed to have some serious issues with separation anxiety.
Still, he tried to be friendly, and edged another small step closer to Cherry. And while he meant the gesture to be cheerful, it probably seemed a bit ... off-putting, but his front legs flailed wildly in the air above his head regardless.
"Don't be afraid! I won't hurt you!"
[ Changed Vixxie's font color from pink to blue, I think it's a little easier to read. >.> And a bunch of her Pokemon are pink, so Vixxie's font being blue will help differentiate from her actions and her Pokemon's (once I introduce them, that is)... hopefully. xD;; ]
