"No, no I mean don't get me wrong Rosc is...unique in his own way, but truthfully I was pretty worked up. I would have kissed any boil at that moment, I just wanted to feel...a moment of control I guess...and Rosc just happened to be the first poor sap I ran into." She laughed and shook her head with a sigh.
"Like I said I didn't even realize it was him until it was too late. Besides I sort of a...long distance relationship going on...kinda. I don't know if it's really even a relationship but I really like him and, well even if he isn't at this school it's nice to just talk to him." She shrugged softly and thought of all the dating she was missing out on, but really who else would really get her? Boils looked at her and just saw...beauty, and that was only enough to flatter her, but it didn't mean much else.

'Worked up?' Arachne prodded gently. How did that happen? She sometimes got worked up over things, especially when a reading wasn't going right but she'd yet to plant a kiss on a boil over it.
'Really? How did you meet him if he doesn't come to this school?'
This was for her the first time she'd been amongst so many boils, so she wondered how others met if they didn't do so at the Academy.

"Uh yeah...I was trying to help a friend but I ended up making a complete fool of myself instead. Plus I'd had a bit of sugar..." She pushed her hair back and rolled her eyes at the memory of just how many random kisses she'd had that day.
"Oh, my parents always used to throw demon parties, huge big affairs...anyway we had a masked ball and there he was. He was...amazing, we danced and talked and then...well...this is going to sound dumb but...he eee!mailed me. We've been writing back and forth ever since, I had hoped to see him again, but then I came to school...and the before break he ended up going off to school too...so now we're just stuck with eee!mails. I know it's silly because we've never even been on a date and I have a million options here but, he's just special to me." She sighed softly and then played with a strand of her hair.

'I will remember that about sugar then.' Arachne deadpanned, tugging at one of her gloves, pulling at the material on one of her fingers as she listened to Sin talk.
'What does he look like? Will you see him again?' she felt a little like she was peppering the ghoul with questions, but it was interesting to hear, and would help her. Or at least she hoped it would help her with attempting to form a relationship.
'You should have a boilfriend that you see. You should be happy..' she amused herself sometimes, here she was attempting to give Sin advice! But the ghoul was nice, and she hoped they were becoming friends.

Sin gave Arachne a wry smile and nodded softly, ah the dangers of too much sugar... She listened to the questions and sighed shaking her head softly with a mild frown. "He was tall, dark, incredible...but I don't know if I'll ever get to see him again. I feel like every chance I have something comes and puts a kink in the plans. We're both so busy with school now the chances of being able to get away to meet are slim."
She smiled a bit and nodded, Arachne was right, she needed a boil who she could go on dates with, who would take her to dances and buy her pretty things...and someone she could talk to...in person. "Yeah...I guess your right."

'If you really like him, couldn't you just go, go and visit him?' Arachne asked. She wasn't sure if it was comparable but she didn't let school stop her from visiting home when she felt she had to, but then a boil was not worth that much hassle..well, she'd thought that anyways. Sin seemed different.
'I am often wise..even if I have no idea what I'm talking about.' she joked, looking at the ghoul.
'So, who here do you like?..' she asked, and then added. 'And tell me also, how in Jack's name would I go about speaking to Rosciel about what I've said to you. You know him, he's..difficult.'
Which begged the question again of why she liked him. She supposed one didn't get to pick who would spark an interest. It just sort of happened.

"I have too many responsibilities to just leave school for even a small vacation, I'm a fearleader, I have a club to keep an eye on, and classes, and...and I'm not sure where he is to be honest." She laughed and nodded at Arachne. "Yes very wise in some ways, I don't suppose you see a dark handsome demon in my future? Ah well if you did knowing my luck it would probably just be my father."
She ran her fingers through her hair and thought for a moment. "Ohh that's tough, I've seen so many cute boils around campus...but really only a demon would be suitable. That Jack is very handsome and he loves cats, I have a weakness for men who love animals." She gave a slow smirk and then shrugged. "I'd give any guy at least one chance to impress me on a date...but first he has to ask me on a date, make himself known and available."
She looked back at Arachne and tried not to laugh. "You have to just tell him how you feel, he's obviously clueless. He probably doesn't think you have any actual interest in him. Why not find him and talk to him, maybe hint that you need a date to the Scarentines dance?"

'If I did predict there was a tall, dark stranger in your future it would be a large cliche..usually. But in your case it could turn out true.'
Arachne listened to Sin, wondering what would happen if Rosciel was the one that approached her and asked her out. It wasn't as if Arachne could object, she just liked him, she didn't own him. She wouldn't ask though.
'He's clueless because when I asked him to escort me to the Demon party I didn't feel anything. He was just a smartass and I liked his bluntness. So I asked him then just because I wanted to turn up with an attractive boil on my arm, for appearances. But this time..'
Which meant she was stuck, she'd only been able to ask him because then it had meant nothing.
'He'll say no, I know it.'

Sin laughed and nodded, yes it was a bit cliche wasn't it? She grinned and then listened to Arache again shaking her head. "Now it's different because you're afraid he'll turn you down, but Arachne either way at least you'll know? If you never talk to him then you'll always be left wondering 'what if'?"
She sat up a bit and leaned closer to the other ghoul trying to give the best advice she could. "You deserve to be happy too, and if Rosc says no, so what? There are other boils in this school, if you felt that spark with one I promise you'll be able to feel it again. If he says yes then you'll get a chance to know him, maybe he'll be perfect for you? Maybe not, but either way...you have to try!"
"Trust me...being turned down isn't the worst thing in the world...it stings but...all wounds heal with time." A long, long time, but she wasn't going to put Arachne in a more pessimistic mood by adding that.

'Okay, okay I get it. I should ask him.' Arachne looked down at her feet. All she needed was to find him..and a heavy dose of courage to ask him.
'Well it's good to know it won't kill me, but it will be..well, I'll be embarrassed. I certainly won't be attending the Scarentine party if he turns me down, how could I got if he's there as well?' she looked up again. She was psyching herself out and needed to change the subject.
'Do you have someone for the Scarentine party?'

"Yes you should." She grinned glad that Arachne seemed to be finally working up the courage to manage it. Except then she started to talk about being embarrassed and Sin laughed and held up a hand. "Relax...you'll be fine."
Someone for the Scarentine party? Ouch...not really, but she wasn't going to let anyone know that. "No I decided to turn down any offers for the dance and participate in the auction for charity. It's a student council event to earn seeds for a minipet park. You should come by and cheer me on, I'm sure I'll be able to raise a fair bid." She smirked and tossed her hair back.

'I feel like I'm about to take an exam or something.' Arachne admitted, and then shook her head.
'I'm not going to think about it anymore, that way leads to craziness. I will be reading my cards though tonight.' she didn't know how much use that would be but it wouldn't hurt to at least try.
'Well, maybe you can go with whoever wins you? I don't think I'll be bidding, I thought about it, and was going to for fun but I'm not sure now.'
Oh how prophetic those words would be! She sat up in the seat. 'So, did you want a reading before I go? I feel I've taken up so much of your time, bent your ear a lot.'

"Yes that's the plan, to go with whoever wins, they better appreciate me too I bought an incredible dress. Come, you can at least have fun watching the auction. A reading?" Sin looked at Arachne curiously for a moment, she had never thought to really ask for one. Sin wasn't sure if she really even wanted to see her future, but Arachne had been kind enough to offer.
"Well...there is one thing I'd like to know...I want to know if Lucky 13 thrives or not...I think it's important to all of us." By us of course she meant demons, Sin had been raised that way 'us' and 'them'. Demons were the elite and if they had to kick other races down to stay ontop then that was just how things were supposed to be. Except coming to school had made Sin a lot less inclined to kick anyone down, if anything she found herself wanting to lend a hand. Still...her goals were roughly the same and she was trying not to let her personal feelings get in the way of things.

'Maybe.' Arachne said evasively. She still at that point had not yet decided whether to go.
'Of course. Let's see, give me your hand.'
She would have gotten her cards or even her divining bones but she wanted to see if she could get a straight-up premonition just from being in contact with the ghoul. She slipped off the glove on her right hand and held out her left to take Sin's hand.

Sin extended her hand palm up and had to fight the urge to curl her fingers in, to hide what Arachne might see in the lines crossing there. Did she want to really know? Of course she did, like she had said...the future could always be altered...right? Yes.
She settled her hand comfortably in the other ghouls and waited patiently to hear what she would say.
