[FIN] Things always change. (Orion and Eden Cullen)

Orion's ears picked up at her words, and a shy smile covered his lips. He was strangely proud of himself for not setting off one of her traps.... it may not really be much of an achievement but for Orion it was something improtant, it made him feel almost on equal ground with her, that and he disliked drawing attention to himself. Still he didn't voice his pride, instead he found his interest changing towards the topic of flowers. He remembered there last conversation, of wishing to be a flower and the fact thats he remembered did strange things to his heart that he didn't understand. With a gulp he raised his head and spoke once more, trying his best to calm his stammer so he didn't make a complete fool of himself.... or more of one at least. "What kind of flowers?" He stepped towards her, keen to follow her lead and explore the world in search of these flowers.

"They are very special flowers, and if I show you we cant take or pick any..." She would have to ask Maion and Sendroma if they were going to take any of the flowers as they were very special to the pair, though she didn't think that this particular one was one of the flowers they had broguht to the herd lands. Turning her head and heading off down a small rairly used path between the tree from where they were. "This way."

Orion's eyes widened at the prospect of seeing a flower that was considered special, "Sure." He said, aggreing easily to her condition, Orion didn't like destroying beauty but instead allowing it to flourish on its own, to develop as the great creator had designed them to. Yet as Eden started towards a path, that didn't really look like a path, he hesitated. Would she lead him to a trap? His overactive imagination started running away from him but then he looked at the path again, saw Edens elegant rump swaying from side to side with he long tail swishing with the rthym. It was.... magical. Blinking his cheeks burnt red with a deep blush and it took every effort to put one hoof infront of the other to follow her.... Orion may not trust most but he felt he could trust Eden.

It would never have occured to Eden to lead anyone into a trap unless she feared for her own or the rest of the herds life. As it was she felt no threat from Orion and wanted to share somethign with him, somethign to make him feel a little better about himself. "Its ot a long way, but the walk might be a little problematic, rocky some of the way so step carefully when we get to the rocks." She didn't want him to come to harm so gave him plenty of warning. "Or we can fly once we get to those, its up to you?" Not sure what his ability was with his wings.

Orion's eyes were glued to he rump, something that surprised him -he had never acted so.... vulgar. He forced himself to look away, to the forest and land around them, he focused on the uneven ground, on the sounds around him only to find himself shook from those thoughts as she spoke again. He loved the sound of her voice but her words disturbed him... fly? His wings moved selfconciously on his back, he didn't like them, saw them as a flaw, a reminder of the horrible genes his father had cursed him with. Orion wanted to growl but resisted. "I.... I.... will be ok." He stuttered, desperate to try and hide.

"Ok.." Eden wasn't about to make him do anything he didn't want to though he inspired so many questions in her. Pausing and looking round at him interest in her eyes, he fasinated her, she wanted to take his fear and insecurity away, make him feel he was the lovely and wonderful being that she felt deep down he was. But how to express all of that without making him scared and sending him running.

Orion stopped, his eyes bravely lifting to meet hers as she looked at him. He had the impression that she wanted to say something, wanted to speak to him, but didn't. Part of him was glad for that, knowing how uncomfortable it would be to answer. Yet at the same time he wanted to tell her, that confused Orion, only his sister Lior had ever managed to get him to open up.... could Eden be someone else he could talk to? Unsure what to do or say with her looking at him he tried to smile, he wanted to say sorry, felt he had to, but he didn't for some reason he felt it would be insulting. Instead he simply remained in silent and watched her.

Looking at eachother for a moment, though it seemed longer, she found herself blushing an dturned away, carrying on walking. It not taking long till thety reached the rocks she had mentioned, her pace slowing and her steps growing more cautious as some of the rocks were loose and might fall. Taking her time, the rocks leading up a slope, they were still in the herd lands but barely, heading along the side of a little knull, a small cave showing surrounded by tightly closed flowers, each a vivid blue.

Orion found himself sad when she turned away but was happy that she didn't interogate him. He was very aware of his own heart beating, it seemed to thunder in his ears, echo in the forest around them. He gulped, not because of the uneven ground though he hoped Eden would believe it to be for such a reason since the rocks had suddenly appeared. In a moment of distraction his rear leg slipped on a rock leaving him no choice but to spread his wings in an effort to return his balance. He jumped up to a larger sturdier rock his wings still held out revealing all the panels and the demonic hooks, but for a moment he found himself distracted looking at the rock he had sent crashing to the ground.

Eden had herd the gasp but it was only when the rock shiften and went she spun, looking round, seeing him fly to a safer pearch, the rock clattering and settling when it hit the dirt. Her eyes focused on Orion, her jaw having dropped, seeing his wings fully for the first time, ok they had spikes which was a little ominous but they vanished when she saw the beauty of the panels, the light shining through them like stained glass. "Beautiful..." Her voice soft and slightly awed.

Orion's eyes snapped straight to Eden in an effort to discover what she found beautiful, had they reached the flower? The thought excited him, he wanted to see the rare flourish more than he could express, yet as he discovered that she was looking at him. He couldn't understand what she would see in him that could be considered beautiful, she had said so about his eye colour but it was wrong.... then he realised something, his wings were still open. He paniced slightly trying desperatly to fold his wings back up, his eyes unable to look at her, unable to focus on anything. "I.....I....." He closed his eyes and forced himself to say, "Thank you."

Eden looked away when he closed his eyes and thanked her, feeling a weird sensation in her chest, it hurt, well kind of, it felt tight and ached a little and for the first time she wanted to cry. This was unusual for her, she had never felt anything so strong before and she had no idea why. "Its jsut up here." Carrying on walking, thinking she must talk to her brother crown at some point, he understood feelings so much better than she did. Finally reaching the well shaded area she had been heading for, there being blue flowers all tightly closed, they were like th moon flower that her herd prized, except these were deep blue leading to black centres.

Orion wasn't usually able to understand when others were upset but he got the impression that Eden was, and all he could think about was how to make it better, how to fix the mistake. "Eden..." he whispered her name, noticing that she had started to walk again, the steady clip clop of her hooves on the ground. His mind whirled, how could he fix it? Then they reached the closed buds of several flowers, they seem to have blue tips and darker centres, almost if not black. They were beautiful, yet for the first time in his life Orion had something else on his mind than nature. "I'm sorry Eden." He said the words from the heart, not sure how much he could share with her but at the same time needing to, strangely wanting to. "I....." The only problem? He had no idea what to say.

Eden looking at him but offering a smile, trying to take the worry from his face. "Its ok Orion." Nodding to the flowers. "They bloom at night, in the dark they are the same colours as you.." The flowers had reminded her of him, she had no idea if they had other names but to her they were going to be Orion flowers. Moving out the way so he could see thm better, moving round to where the grass started again and settling in the shade and long grass, giving him room to enjoy the flowers, he would also find the view lovely, the herd lands spread out beneath them, th lake glittering in the distance.

Orion watched Eden's gracefully movements, still he felt wrong, like he wasn't quite done. He needed to do more. He took a deep breath and followed her suit, sitting to view the most extradinary view he had ever seen. The way the trees swayed below, the sparkle of a lake not too far away, creatures of all colours flying and around it. He imagined that this must be the herdland she spoke of on their previous encounter. Still, despite it all he couldn't help but feel that she was far more beautiful. It didn't take much effort to pull away from the view to look at her, he couldn't help but see sadness in her and that sadenned him.... he didn't understand his feelings, nor did he try to examine them but he want to try and fix it. "I don't like my wings," he said truthfully, although he supposed that truthfully he didn't like any of himself. "They remind me..... of.... him." His brow wrinkled with his dislike for the subject.
