Courage had always been an ever present part of her life, even as a child she was the daredevil that wasn't afraid to take on just about anything. Even as she grew older, and became more interested in 'girly' things, she had been more than willing to face her fears. Becoming a senshi was just, in her opinion, an extension of that. It had opened her up to a whole new world of danger and she welcome it with open arms.

Life wasn't easy and if it it was, then it wasn't really life, at least not to her.

"Yes, one of the few eternal senshi as well I think," she tapped her chin thoughtfully as she spoke. She had not encountered many other senshi above her own level, at least not on a personal level. She had only learned to recognize the eternals by the winged butt bows they all had. "It also appears that he had quite a few personal enemies..." She could still hear his scream as Tanz had forced her hand into his chest and went for his starseed.

She laughed and shrugged. "Lucky you," she smiled up at him. "I'm jealous, I really wish they'd stop aiming for my face," she let her hand gingerly touch the area under her eye, it was still healing from Schee's punch. "There's another lieutenant that I've fought, weaker than the other two but..." she sighed. "She got the upperhand on me. She fights with a Frisbee, has orange hair, wears blue and a leopard print headband. She likes attacking with her nails when she loses her Frisbee."

As she spoke about them Denebola began to wonder how she had attracted so many personal battles, ones that existed out side of the massive brawls that had been erupting. Surely it wasn't the last one of them either. "Eventually I win, I figure as long as they don't kill me everything is alright."

"it's not fun when they aim elsewhere either." He laughed softly. "I could probably deal with the face thing. At least then i could walk and still try to find them and get revenge or something." He so hoped that the blond negaverser would get a good helping of karma for messing up his leg. "They better not kill you. Don't know what i'd do without you."

Denebola was the weapon he needed to be able to fight himself. The injury had been a good sign that he just wasn't cut out for the physical stuff. He was better at being a brain. He needed her and they worked well together. "We're stronger than they are. They think they're fighting for something but it's just lies. We at least are fighting for something real."

He leaned back in his chair. "They say this isnt' our home ... but my family was born here, so was i, so it is my home. Even if i get powers from elsewhere this, earth, is still where my home is. It's where everything i care about is. And they want to take it away just because they've decided that we don't belong here."

Fiona was smart but not in the same way that Lucien was. Her smarts were basically book smarts and smarts that came from experiencing things. If she were to be forced to sit and think about how things might pan out, or to try and plan the best strategy she would struggle. She knew she would and that was why she tended to rush in headfirst without second thought. She needed someone like Lucien to balance her out. She was unaware how well they fit together as a team.

She laughed somewhat uncomfortably at the thought of her being dead, or even of Lucien being dead. "Don't worry, I'm a fighter and I don't plan on going anywhere any time soon," she assured him. "They've tried and failed a couple times already, I'm only getting stronger too," she told him confidently. In fact she had started taking a few self defense classes to help better her physical fighting prowess.

"I know. Who we were in the past may not be from earth but who we are now, is from earth and for them to try and claim otherwise..." She shook her head, a hand curling in to a fist. "It's wrong. They're wrong, what ever they're fighting for...it's not right. It's not the same. We have every right to be here."

He looked down at his foot for a moment with a slight grin. "At least i can say that is a tried and failed attempt." He wasn't -really- sure if Scheelite had been aiming to kill but with that much electricity you didn't have to try that hard. He'd survived it though and it had just helped cement his belief that all of them were completely corrupted and evil.

"I get defending your home ... but defending it from people for who it is just as much home?" He shook his head again. "People like them are the reason we have to exist in the first place. If there wasn't always someone adamant that -they- were right above all else and willing to kill to get their way then we wouldn't even be needed"

It would be a good day if that ever happened but the chances of it were next to none.

"I'm glad it's a failed attempt," she mumbled glancing at the floor before looking back at him, brushing hair out of her face and tucking it back behind her ear. "I don't know," she bit her bottom lip nervously. "Whatever turns them into...what they are, it poisons them. Taints their mind with corrupt thoughts," she tapped her chin thoughtfully.

"They're so certain that we're in the wrong," she paused trying to finds the words to express her feelings on the matter. "It's complicated I guess," she frowned. "One of them said that the only reason they're here is because we're here," her words were quite almost whispered. "But isn't it the other way around?" Her brow was furrowed in confusion. "I..." she shook her head. She didn't have the words to explain her feelings.

""Im not sure. It's something we need to figure out." He wasn't so sure himself. He hadn't really ever been told properly what the senshi were for and was having to find things out as he went along. He was rather sure that wasn't how it was suppose to be done though. "They say that's why we're here ... but if they weren't here why would we have to be? If there was no threat then there wouldn't be a need to awaken us."

The world was never safe though and that's probably why they'd been created in the first place. "Everything's complicated and no one will give us straight answers. We're suppose to find out on our own." Which was really dumb in his mind. If you wanted a tight-nit standing army you told them everything.

"I agree, but..." she trailed off, shaking her head again. It was all so confusing and she couldn't figure out how they wanted them to figure everything out themselves. "They probably don't give us straight answers because they don't have any to give us. They probably don't know themselves," she lamented thinking about the cat who awakened her and how little information he could offer her.

"It's what happens when you're thrust into a war that you don't know anything about. I mean, these cats show up give us this pen that drastically changes our lives," she had started rambling, "without any real explanation except that there are bad guys and it's our job, no our duty to stop them, even if it means losing our lives in the process." She let out a bitter laugh. "We didn't get a say in this. We were thrown in to it."

It hadn't been until recently, since Elysion, that she had begun to question her motives and to wonder why she was forced to play a part. She once was a normal girl and now she was a sailor scout who the world thought was a terrorist while the real bad guys carelessly slaughtered innocent people.

The world wasn't fair.

"There have to be answers somewhere. Someone has to have them or the cats wouldn't have known how to find us or to awaken us. Even if they dont' know what's going on -this- time they know something that they're not sharing." That was his biggest problem. Someone seemed to want them to do something but wasn't giving them any sort of direction on what -to- do.

"We do get a say in how we fight though." He sat up and leaned forward, arms balancing on his knees. "Whether we choose to throw ourselves into the fights or whether we choose to try to fight them with information. We need to know more about what's going on. Where the Negaverse came from, why they're trying to take over the earth, why they think we're the threat"

"Maybe, but I don't think the cats have them. I bet most of them are just as clueless as we are," she shrugged, "depending on the cat." She honestly didn't know, she barely remembered her own encounter with the cat that had awoken her. She couldn't remember meeting another cat since.
Strange and puzzling for the redhead.

She listened quietly to his words, thinking his words over. "It's true, but depending on the person and their nature they cannot help but fight for what they believe is right. I am no coward," she stated firmly and proudly. "I would never hide while others fought to save lives, it goes against who I am," she folded her arms over her chest as she spoke.

"We could try asking? I'm sure there are some out there who are willing to talk first rather than fight," she mused tapping her chin thoughtfully. "I'm sure many are just as confused as we are."
PostPosted: Mon May 16, 2011 6:53 am

"I don't know if talking to any of them would get us anywhere." He almost seemed to sneer at the idea of talking to a negaverser. "How could we trust that anything they said was the truth? If they're whole organization is built on lies, or half truths, then that's still all we'd be getting. We'd just know what lies they believed in."

He sighed and wished for a moment that things were easier. That they had someone who knew what was going on and could explain things to them. They were suppose to be some sort of universal cosmic protectors but no one knew what they were doing. Somehow he didn't think leaving untrained teenagers in charge of keeping cosmic peace was a good idea without training before hand.

"Some of the other Senshi might know though, and maybe the cats. Those who've been doing it longer? We could always try to find them"

Fiona was acutely aware of the sneer that lined his tone but she said nothing, she understood because it was a little silly to think that they would just tell them the truth. That they would just give them all the answers was silly but a part of her wanted to know what drove them to the negaverse, what the had been the motivation that drove them or what they thought was right.

"It would still be interesting to hear what they had to say," she mumbled softly playing with a loose strand of hair idly. "I don't really know any cats," she replied, staring at the ground almost shyly. "That parallel senshi, Ares? I think she's knows some of the most...I could try and meet up with Taranis again, he helped me in the beginning, when I was newer...he might have more information to give me." She tapped her chin thoughtfully.

"I think Taranis is part of the information network thing that set up the negaverse database we can access through our senshi phones, he'll probably know of some cats I can get in contact with..." There was so much to do and so much she could do.
PostPosted: Tue May 31, 2011 8:23 am

"I really dont like Ares." he shook his head. "She may know a lot but she seems to treat everyone who doesn't follow her lead like they are idiots or children." He'd had enough of her attitude in the few times he'd met her. "I don't think she knows as much as she says and she's not even from here is she? So what she knows might not even be right." It wouldn't do them any good to get the wrong information and go with that just because some girl thought she was the only one with the answers.

"Taranis might be a good idea though. Getting access to the information network would help. There should be the info we need on it ... or we could put more information on it."

Denebola shrugged, she herself wasn't sure how she felt about the parallel senshi. She had been intrigued by the knowledge she did possess but off-put by the attitude she displayed when she was questioned. Still she understood his dislike for the redhead though she hadn't come to a conclusion on how she felt. "From my understanding she is from a parallel universe to ours," she replied in response to his question. She had done a little bit of digging on her when she had the chance. "But other than that, I know little to nothing about her."

She was sure even those close to her knew little about Ares. She didn't seem to be the type to share more than necessary. Even then, but she wasn't going to even bother pretending like she knew anything of Ares because she didn't.

"I'll see what I can do," she said fiddling with her senshi phone briefly, Taranis's name highlighted before she snapped it shut. "I'll see who else I can get in contact with, I remember the database, it's got some info on some negaverse officers," she tapped her chin thoughtfully as she stood. "I don't think it has been updated recently, everyone's been so busy with the, uh, recent events." Herself included. "I might just have more information for you in general," she shrugged.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 03, 2011 6:56 am

"She doesn't seem all that concerned with helping our universe though. Just her own gains." He sighed and ran a hand though his hair. If Ares was interested in really helping them then she'd do more to actually give them information rather than keep it to herself, if that's what she was doing. "Her attitude could use an adjustment too." The girl was just -rude-.

He nodded though when she mentioned the database. "Thanks De." it would be good to find out what they knew and what sort of information the database had on hand. Hopefully it would be the sort of information the senshi needed.

"Perhaps," she replied thoughtfully tucking a lose strand of hair behind her ear nervously. It was strange, she had no qualms chatting away about negaverse officers, dissecting their motives or what made them tick but she wasn't so comfortable bashing on another senshi, regardless if she herself felt the same way. But she didn't voice this, instead she shrugged, "At least she has a goal and the force to back it."

She turned and headed towards the door, she wanted to get started trying to gather information soon. It wouldn't be long before night fell, it would be easier then. "Of course," she responded automatically at his thanks. "Anyway, I better get going, I'll see you around?" Her gaze flitted to his leg. "Take care and be careful okay? I don't want to come back and find you in any worse shape."
