The bluenette smiled, a hand reaching up to fiddle with her pearls again. It was a habit to play with them whenever she didn't have anything better to do. "You're welcome, and that sounds nice." She liked the idea of not getting a foot to the face again.
Her eyes were sharp and she noticed the brunette's wince. "If you want I can give you the card to my private physician? He's pretty good." That was an understatement, he was one of the most sought after doctors in Destiny City. But that's what you got when you had money, the best of everything.

Painite looked surprised, then blushed softly, trying to hide any trace on needing a doctor. She knew she was just sore, and everything would heal up in due time.
Plus, the idea that Zan had a private physician, while she had to visit clinics to avoid hospital bills was a bit disconcerting. She felt slightly embarrassed, which was strange and different for her. She generally avoided letting herself get embarrassed.
She smiled.
"I appreciate the offer, but I think I'm fine. Just some cuts and bumps, bandages and ice are taking care of them. Thank you though!"

"Are you sure? I mean you can't really protect me if you're hurt." She shrugged a little, she liked to try and help people if she could. It never occurred to her that other people might feel awkward because she was well off. It was just the way things had always been for her.
"And did you get an X-ray? You could have internal bleeding, or a bunch of things bandages won't help. You don't want to go to sleep one night and not wake up."

Painite watched her for a long moment, half looking terrified.
"Internal bleeding? I hadn't thought of that. I might have died by now, don't you think?" She smiled, trying to lighten the mood. She was sure it wasn't that bad. Or at least she had been, but now she was beginning to doubt. What if she had been hurt more than she thought? She had burns on her stomach, and the cuts... the spear had gotten her in the side...
She shook her head.
"Well! If you wouldn't mind... lending me a name of your doctor... I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to forget it."

Zanazziite was good at bringing up the worst case scenario, and scaring and/or guilting people into doing what she thought was best for them. The bluenette nodded when she questioned internal injuries, it was a very plausible complication. Zan knew, she spent a lot of time on WebMD.
"Well, maybe, unless it was a slow bleed. But you might be okay! I just don't want my new friend to die." She smiled, fingers continuously rubbing her pearls.
When Painite finally decided to let her refer her she grinned. "Great, his name is Dr. Gerad, just tell him you're a friend of Claudia Jensen and he'll take care of you."

"Oh! Thank you! I really don't want to die from a slow internal bleed! You've made my day again if you kept me from it." She laughed at that, shaking her head. Certainly she didn't believe she could be in that kind of danger but... better safe than sorry.
"Doctor Gerad. Claudia Jensen?" She repeated it to commit it to memory, nodding her head. She smiled. "Gently Ponsonby, if you wanted to know. Alright! I should probably let you rest. You must be in some pain."
She knew she was, at the very least.
"Thank you for meeting me, and I mean it, any time you need help or an extra pair of hands, call me! I'll be there in a jiffy."

Zanazziite smiled, she was so glad she kept her new friend from dying a horrible death.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Gently." Her grandmother had raised her right, and her parents had been sure to at least stick her into etiquette classes.
"You're welcome, and I will keep that in mind!" She was feeling her tiredness creep on her. While a broken nose wasn't a major injury, she wasn't used to breathing through her mouth, and her meds made her sleepy.
"I hope to see you again!" She waved, and then took a running jump off the roof, to the neighbouring roof, heading towards home.

Painite was glad to have made a new friend who wanted to keep her from dying horrible deaths, so it worked out. She kept one hand over her side, subconsciously, in an effort to make sure everything was, in fact, staying where it was supposed to.
"Get better soon! See you later, Zanazziite!"
She watched as the other Negaverser hopped off the roof and headed off. Painite then turned toward the fire escape again, slowly climbing down. Extra careful. She'd go home and give this doctor a call, just in case she was, in fact, slowly dying on the inside.
Not that she was generally a paranoid person. But... she had also never been badly injured before, and didn't want to start now.
