"WHAT?!" He stared at her almost like she was the one that had sprouted extra arms. "You're the one that kicked it in the a**. not me!" Why did she even think that was going to work? She was the one over there with all of it's damn eggs not him.
As he yelled at her the monstrosity of a chicken produced what looked like an oversized pair of hedge trimmers from under it's feathers. "Um.... Corvus..." -That- wasn't normal. He hadn't seen a youma with weapons before, at least ones that weren't already attached to it.

"You're the one who told me to go wake it up!" She huffed back despite knowing that now was likely one of the worst possible times to be getting into such a childish argument. "Don't you 'Corvus' me and don't you think this gets... This... Gets you out of..."
s**t.
The youma's eyes were glowing a bit brighter as it stepped out of its 'nest' (clearly something it had taken care of trimming down itself... god, what had those hedges even been before?), smashing through the egg that she had touched in the process of storming towards whichever of the two senshi happened to be the closest to it, squeaking its rusty sheers while clucking.
"********. Lu--- Arsinoe, run!" She stooped down, scooping a handful of snow into gloved hands, packing it as best she could quickly before lobbing it in the direction of the monster in hopes of drawing its attention to her. "C'meeeere, ugly, ugly, ugly..."

"I'll 'Corvus' you if i want to. You're the one who wanted to kick a damn giant chicken." Glad that there wasn't ice to be found on the grass he ran over to his cousin and grabbed her arm just as she lobbed the snowball at the bird.
"Get. Going." He drug her with him as he tried to get out of the range of the bird and it's sheers. "You drug me out here to help you. You're not fighting a damn youma by yourself." Not one with a weapon like that at least.
As he tried to tug her away the youma let out a disgruntled squawk at being hit with a snowball.
Yea. That worked real well.

"Yeah, well, that's not what woke the damn thing up." She let out a 'disgruntled squawk' of her own as Lucien took her by the arm and tried to drag her away. "Wait. What are you...? We can't just leave it here. We're going to fight that thing!"
Corvus continued to protest as Arsinoe tugged her away, feet eventually giving in to the idea that running might not be all that bad of an idea even if her brain was convinced that standing and fighting was a much better option. "Maybe we should just... Hit it again. Harder."

"Yes but we can fight it without being in range of the hedge trimmers." If she had just left the eggs alone they could have dusted the damn thing without any trouble. That would teach him to let his cousin go wake up youma.
As he drug her through the park he could hear the youma thudding through the snow behind them. As he'd bet it -was- slower than them but it didn't seem to be loosing any time breaking through deeper piles of snow.
"Your hitting it the first time didn't help me .... wait," His sandals dug into the snow as he stopped. "Chicken ... fire. Your boot didn't work so lets see if i can fry the damn thing." Corvus could keep an eye on it while he unhooked his lantern.

"You are going to fry a chicken?" She shook her head as he skidded to a halt, determined to let him know just how crazy she thought he was until she realized that the youma hadn't stopped. The giant chicken of doom was still thundering after them and Arsinoe was too busy playing with his blasted lantern to do anything about it.
"Alright. Fine. We'll try it your way once you're ready, but until then..." She dropped down to one knee in the snow, scooping up another ball which was quickly packed into something a little bit more solid.
"Hey! Fatty! Over here!"
Famous last words from Super Sailor Corvus as she tossed the snowball at the beast with all of her might.

"Yes i'm going to fry it." Or at least he was going to attempt to do it. He wasn't sure at all that it would work but it was at least better than throwing snowballs at it.
Pulling out a starter stick he lit it from the lantern and looked up as Corvus' snowball hit the chicken. He'd almost hoped that it would ignore the snow but the giant bird squawked indignantly and turned toward his cousin.
"Corvus ... get out of the way." He called out to his cousin. He couldn't control the orbs well and she was in danger of getting hit. "Dancing Lights!" He let his attack go hoping that all of the orbs would hit the chicken and fry it.

Her snowball hit its mark but her victory dance (the one she had been planning in her head, at least) was cut short as the creature turned on her and Arsinoe told her to move. From there several things happened leading into a chain that was not at all likely to end well.
As Corvus tried to dodge the sole of her shoe caught on a patch of ice on the path they had been running along. She fumbled a bit before sliding, landing on her backside only to continue skidding along the ground towards the monstrosity. The monstrosity, on the other hand, was so fixated on readying its sheers to catch her as she came by, that it paid no attention to the Dancing Lights that were now trailing towards it.
The first hit and the chicken flailed, making itself an easy target for the second as its sheers went flying and its trunk-like legs started stomping as it flapped around trying to put out the feathers that were now singed.

"Damn it.." He cursed as Corvus' attempt to escape turned into her sliding toward the stupid chicken. Dropping the lantern he ran though the snow toward his cousin hoping to drag her out from under the bird's stomping feet.
He slipped on the snow and landed on his hands and knees but managed to grab his cousins arm on the way. "Get .. back."

Corvus managed to get in a swift kick as she was pulled just beyond the bird's stomping reach, eyes narrowing at the thought that it likely stung her foot more to kick than it had hurt the stupid youma to be kicked.
"Whose bright idea was this anyways?" She huffed as she tried to scramble away, watching as a few flaming feathers fluttered to the ground. "On the bright side, it dropped its gardening tools."

"Yours. This was entirely your idea." He glared at her as he sat up on his knees. "You wanted to go kick something's a** and had to wake up the giant chicken."
The chicken who was giving up on trying to get rid of the singed feathers and was turning it's beady red eyes back on the two senshi. "... so, i'm out of magic for a while." He patted Corvus' shoulder as he tried to inch back on the snow

"Wait, what? That was it?" She glanced at her cousin, eyes wide and mouth agape, finding herself speechless save for a few brow-furrowing huffs here and there as she tried to contemplate their next course of action. "Alright, then... That means either you need to stop pulling me away from its line of fire or insisting I run away from it so that the damn thing can actually hit me, or we need to find another way to take it out. We definitely can't just leave it here now."

"Yes that's it. What did you expect? It's a lamp not a flame thrower." He glared at her again as he pulled himself to his feet as the chicken tried to decide which of them it wanted to squish first.

"And where would you like me to find a rock?" Corvus huffed, eyes narrowing as she shot a cold glare in her cousin's direction. There was snow all over the ground. It had been the easiest thing to grab. It...
Was not the only weapon at her disposal.
"Alright, you want me to throw something better than snow?" She placed her hand on Arsinoe's shoulder, making him hold still for a moment as she used him to keep her balance as she pulled her shoe off, chucking that at the Perdue reject.

He almost laughed at hsi cousin chucking her shoe at the bird. Almost but he knew it would have displaced her and the last thing he wanted was to be in the snow with his cousin in a heap on top of him.
"... that's a better use of heels than running in them i think." He smirked as the shoe clocked the chicken on the head. The youma let out another sqawk and fixed it's beady eyes on Corvus.
"Looks like youre' up"
