One of the guards scoffed at Ryn's statement, coming to hold the tip of a dagger to his throat. "There is no use in lying. We know it was through your power that Nyx was brought here. There is no such thing as quitting. Now tell us, where is she? What is she plotting?"

"Like your previous Lord quit, many have done the same. I did not alert Nyx on purpose! I was resurrecting your Queen before she became a bloody Vampire! I have no idea what Nyx is planning. She never tells anyone but her personal bodyguard! Go ask Malphas, he's an agent of Nyx."

At the insult, the guard dug the tip of the blade into Ryn's flesh. "We will not tolerate this. You must know something. All that are connected to Nyx have a link directly to her. What are her plans? I will not ask again."

Growling, his eyes narrowed.
"I have no connection to Nyx! I have no power at all! I can't obvious sense any connections after Luferius combined my light and dark side together, now, can I?

The other guard threw a punch directly into Ryn's stomach. "You wish to die then? We are giving you a chance to redeem yourself, pathetic mortal!" A right cross connected with Ryn's jaw. "If you are as weak as you say, then you are of no consequence to Nyx."

Ryn spat out blood as he glared at the two guards.
"Redemption? I already completed mine by reviving Ari. I may have not have any power currently, But I had split into two when I joined Nyx. One with that creepy girl, and one with the Light. Malphas is hiding in a wine celllar probably. I know Acheron and Andrastea are still around."

The two guards looked at each other, debating on the prisoner's statement. One nodded to the other who left to give a report. The remaining one looked over at Ryn. "You may prove to be of use after all."

Luferius entered into the Interrogation room and dismissed the other two guards. As they closed the door, the vampire examined Ryn's current condition. "Rather uncooperative, aren't we? I was hoping that the knowledge of your dire situation alone would be enough to convince you to begin talking." He picked up the bloodied dagger and twisted it in his grasp. "What would you suggest that I do, Kuromaru? What would be the best method to loosen your tongue?"

Ryn struggled violently against the chains, as he glared at Luferius.
"Oh, Yes. Not having any information to give you is being uncooperative. When you sealed me with both of my Light and Dark sides, you nullified any chance I could have sensed anything. Besides, Acheron and Andrastea are probably rummaging through Tuomas' stuff. Nyx on the other hand, who knows where the hell she is. As I said, she can reform into anything, anyone, or go to any time period."

With a quick wave of his arm, Luferius set the dagger back down and leaned against a nearby wall. A few seconds later, blood began to drip down Ryn's face as fresh cuts appeared there. "Do not underestimate me. I know very well about what Nyx is capable of. What remains a mystery to me is why she is so adamant about your return. If she wants you that badly, she will have to show up soon. You have a meeting with the execution grounds in a few short hours."

"Nyx come here for me? Hah! No one on the council is going to try and save me. I'm going to get out of here though.. You really think Ari will alllow me to die?"

With a smug countenance, Luferius couldn't help but laugh at Ryn's comment. "Oh, trust me. You will die, and by the Queen's hand. The ruler always delivers the punishment in this kingdom. However if she does not wish to, I would be more than happy to oblige. I will be on my way shortly to make sure that everything is in place for you."
A knock at the door interrupted the vampire's thoughts as a guard came in pulling a small girl by the back of her outfit. "Forgive the intrusion, we found this witch in the courtyard turning guards into frogs. We believe that she is a member of Nyx's council."
Luferius nodded. "Throw her in one of the cages." Turning back to Ryn, he smiled. "It looks as though you may have company. How quaint. Now then, I have some other matters to attend to." He left the room as did the other guards after locking the witch in a hanging cage in the interrogation room.

Hazel squirmed in the cage, rocking it back and forth.
"I didn't do anything wrong! They'll get better!"
When the witch spotted Ryn, a wide grin spread across her face.
"Ryn-Ryn! There you are! You're in trouble, Nyx was looking for you everywhere. What are you doing here? Did you crash the party too? It wasn't that fun, they didn't even have a cake or ice cream."
The little girl pouted, adjusting her large witch's hat.

Ryn blinked, as he looked over at Hazel.
"Why is Nyx so desperately looking for me? I don't even have any power left in me. Luferius fused my Light and Dark sides together, and now I think I'm just human.. I can't sense any of my power anymore. I left to save someone, but my efforts seem to have been in vain..Looks like I'm marked for death." he sighed, as he still struggled with the shackles.

Tilting her head, Hazel listened to Ryn before giving a cheerful smile.
"Don't worry, Ryn-ryn. I'm here to save you!"
Her hat wiggled around, and she pulled it off her head to reveal a small bluish cat sitting inside.
"I mean..'we' are here to save you. You're still a member of the council after all, and that makes us family."
The cat jumped out and wriggled between the cage's bars to land on the floor and begin rubbing up against Ryn's legs.
"Leto! There will be time for that later."
The little witch dug deeper into her hat and pulled out a flask of liquid. Pouring it on the lock of the cage, she watched as it burned through the bolt before kicking the door open and hopping down. Meanwhile, the cat jumped onto Ryn's shoulder and began gnawing at the shackles. Hazel took the last of the fluid and melted away the chains.
"There we go, see if you can move now."
