Celsus grunted as he was thrown back, sliding along the floor. Half a second later, he felt two simultaneous impacts as both Celsus and Oliver hit him. He began to draw himself back up and had gotten approximately one-fifth of his body off the ground when a sudden electric shock brought him back down.

Oliver managed to get back onto his feet. "IMITI!"

A quiet, muttered "What am I, the team taxi service?" could be heard, followed by a crack. Oliver, back on the Dragonite's wing and apparently suicidal, palmed a ball of ice into the Dragonite's body, followed quickly by another from his other hand. Half a second later crack Chuck was also there, spewing indigo fire. Imiti, not wanting to let a perfectly good opportunity go to waste, sent a stream of snow to strike beside Chuck before crack teleporting back.

Era, Ethfael, and Sereni jumped back in surprise as the Dragonite appeared, gaping at her peculiar appearance. This must have been the Pokemon that created the hole in the roof, certainly shedding a bit of light so to speak, on what they were up against. The Dragonite claimed to have come for a pendant the Guild had retrieved one time when the Team had been out on another mission. Erinn had informed them of what he'd heard in the aftermath once they'd returned. Clearly these pendants which had grown more and more suspicious each time the Guild had fought were more important than they had been able to guess.

At Solaris's command after Moonfall was gravely injured, the rest of the Guild leaped on the attack. Ethfael blocked Era and Sereni from heading up with his tail however, and shook his head ever so slightly. "Don't act rashly," he said, "She's harder to contend with than you expect." The Dratini knew his race, knew what even average Dragonite were capable of, and this one was clearly not simply average. "Stay back until she hits first; then we can fight." Era and Sereni both nodded, trusting in Ethfael's knowledge, and as it turned out it was a wise decision.

The Dragonite shrugged off the attacks of the Guild like they were nothing at all, demonstrating extreme power in doing so. When she took flight, Ethfael nodded once and lowered his tail; this was the moment to begin attack. "Avoid her Hyper Beam at all costs," he murmured as she began to fire it, "And stay close to me." The three raced to the side of the Hyper Beam, avoiding getting incinerated by its intense power, then looked upward to face the Dragonite flying high above.

Era grimaced as the great beast swooped above her, its shadow passing over her despite the Dragonite's height. Following her flight pattern, Era waited until the Dragon-Type drew close, or as close as one can get when they're several feet above your head, and jolted the Dragonite with a Thundershock which hit her left wing. Sereni, knowing that she was not going to be able to do much while the Dragonite was in the air, stood by Era, focusing with Calm Mind and ready to help her leader if necessary.

Ethfael nodded as he spotted the Thundershock hit the Dragonite's wing; good, Era knew that less than Type-Advantage attacks did little to no good. He narrowed his sights on the Dragonite above him, knowing that this battle was one where he would be an asset. Her right wing appeared less targeted than the left, so he focused on that one, gathering his energies. Similar to the move that a certain Swampbert had used, Ethfael fired a Dragon Rage wrapped in Icy Wind at the Dragonite. He smiled mirthlessly as it hit its target, before heading back to the girls, on his guard should she attack him next.

Solaris---Moonfall---Tolin

"Nyah!" Solaris stumbled backwards, out of the path of the hyper beam. "What was that..." And then he noticed the large path that the hyper beam had carved out.
"Oh." Maybe it was a good idea to keep her around. "Thanks..." He grinned sheepishly, trying his best to retain his pride.
Just as soon after, he threw a Power Gem at her right wing to try and aid the concentrated efforts of the guild.

Tolin deposited the Umbreon on the desk, where he lay twitching periodically.
And then, it was back to the fight where he had time for only a single Air Slash before things started to change.

Her maw closed as the hyper beam drifted off. It wasn't that she couldn't continue; it was simply bothersome to do so.
Suddenly, her wings went slack and she began to fall. The sudden drop would let her either avoid or counter the two jumping at her, if they were stupid enough to jump straight at her from straight below. Her wings would violently snap back into place a few meters above ground in an effort to rid herself of the insects that had grabbed hold.
She flew back up, weaving her way around the attacks she could and largely ignoring the ones she couldn't. There, she simply stopped.
Floating. With her eyes closed.
Small fragments of ice began to form all around the room.
Tiny, tiny fragments you could barely see. Tiny, tiny fragments that grew into rather large ones.
"Solaris, make a barrier!"
The Espeon looked over at the Scyther who had begun to run towards him. He followed the gaze up to the collection of spears that had formed above them, each one true to it's namesake. A collection of lances made entirely of ice were forming.
He glanced over at Epitaph hurriedly. "S... Stay close!" The barrier over his head came up in an instant, large and ready to block the barrage.
The Dragonite swung one hand down, signaling the attack.



Literal spears are raining down on the guild! If you can't protect yourself, find someone who will! Solly's barrier is always a safe option!

Amaterasu & Issun

"Hey, stop! Where the hell are we goin'!?"
The Absol continued to sprint on. Towards the city, through the city and towards the guild. Issun felt the faint rumble and the cries of battle.
"H-hey! It's dangerous in there, you aren't thinking about going in there are you!?"
I have to.
The Kricketot jumped the hell off when his ride barked back at him. "Fine then! Leave me outta this! No way I'm going in there!"
She simply kept going. Through the doors. Her steps gathered into a leap, planting her firmly on the wall before she jumped off again and simply disappeared from the room.
The white blur was gone faster than she had arrived.

"Lookout!" Reginald yapped as the ice began to be hurled. They immediately split up, Reginald rushing under Kaiyou's shield while Desdemona and Anastasia rushed toward Solaris's barrier in the opposite direction. None of them knew any ranged attacks, so Desdemona snatched up Anastasia in her jaws,
"Fly up there and let her have it!" She said, not giving the shocked Meowth any time to react, and hurled her out from the safety of the shield into the field of ice spears. Anastasia didn't even scream as she was thrust in the general direction of the Dragonite, numb to the cold prickings of the icicles as they shattered and embedded themselves against and inside her black pelt. As she neared, she unsheathed her sharp claws and raked the air blindly with her eyes shut. She had no idea if she made contact, but next thing she knew, she was making a quick decent to the ground. Landing lightly on all fours, she scrambled away over to Reginald, who was lying in another Protect shield. Well, that was rash. Anastasia thought haughtily. Desdemona really didn't mind thrusting her friends in danger to attack a threat, hmm?

Solaris---Moonfall---Tolin

The Dragonite brought one hand up to her face and wiped away the mess that had covered her face. A small number of spears that were as of yet still unshot remained.
Each one turned in midair to aim at Maxi.
One might get the sense that she wasn't amused by his attack when they fired off, raining down ice on him and those around him.
Solaris quickly shot another Power Gem, now content that the overall assault had stopped.

It's almost like the mod wanted another round without anything important happening!


Her assault has relented! Do some damage while you get the chance--it might be the only one!

A friendly reminder that Dragonites are not weak to electric attacks. Dragon-typing has electric resistance.
Our boss is only weak to Rock, Ice and Dragon type moves, so please calculate your damage accordingly.

Amaterasu

The Absol padded around the room impatiently, her eyes and mind searching. It was here somewhere, but her "sense" got a little blurry this close.
After all, Solaris had to be keeping the pendant in his office.

"Oh for goodness sakes." Incultyr saw what looked like a rather large explosion in the distance and it was unmistakably from the direction of the guild. Some glittering scales and Morana's sharp eyes soon identified the attacker as a Dragonite.

"Chronicler, get back to the city. Tell Crown what's going on. If Suicune's still around see if she's willing to help."

The Cherrim nodded and hurried off, leaving Morana and Incultyr to hurry towards the guild as fast as they could. The Houndour was reluctant to leave her co-captain behind, and slowed her pace for him. He didn't want her to charge into the battle alone, so this was fine by him.

Damned guild and all its troubles. Morana had only just been cleared to leave the hospital. The Team had been planning a small celebration too.

When they finally reached the hall the battle was well underway. A spear of icicles shot straight for the two as they skidded through the doors, but Incultyr wasted no time in bringing a large wall of stone up before himself and his partner. The ice hit the stone and shattered.

Seconds later Incultyr grabbed the wall he had formed, tore it from the ground, and hurled it with all his strength at the Dragon hovering above. Before it hit, a multicoloured beam of coldness enveloped the stone. As the projectile hit, the Aurora Beam 'splashed' around the site of impact to cover the shimmering scales in a layer of frost.

Morana gasped as she let go of her hold on the attack, shivering as cold took hold of her from the inside before her fire could combat the effects of her using the ice-type move. She quickly retreated within herself, scouring the very-near future for a counter-attack so that she and her partner could dodge easily.

"Let go of me!" The Bulbasaur yelled, struggling against the stubborn Kinesis that held her in place. One of her vines hovered mere inches from the opening of her bag, which Atra was struggling to hold back.

"Damn it, just listen to me already!"

"They need my help!"

"No they don't, you stupid stupid idiot! Why do you do this!? You're going to get yourself killed!"

Melissa suddenly stopped struggling, turning so suddenly and unexpectedly Atra lost hold of his Kinesis for a split second. The young Bulbasaur glared at him.

"You think I don't know? You think that I came here for fun and games? If there's anything I know it's that the Guilds are fighting for our very existence. I have to help. I lost my sister. I know the risks."

"You won't last ten seconds out there! It's a damned Dragonite, what can you do about it!?"

"More than you know." She replied fiercely. "I'm not as inexperienced and helpless as you think."

And with that she squeezed the vine she had managed to slip into her bag during Atra's momentary weakness. The orb she had wrapped it around began to glow and she yanked it out of the bag with all the strength she could muster.

The Foe-Hold orb took effect immediately, locking Atra in place. His Kinesis dropped and he stared in shock as the Bulbasaur turned and charged through the open doorway into the main hall to join the battle. The paralysis wore off within seconds, too weak to hold one of his magical strength for long, but by then she was already gone.

Shaking his head with a frustrated growl, the Flareon followed behind.

Melissa skidded to a stop before she got near a certain Toxicroak that was the target of the Dragonite's attacks, not willing to test her ability to dodge against the deadly icicles. With the attention undoubtedly on more dangerous-looking combatants than herself, Melissa kept her distance and prepared her attack. She didn't have long though, because she knew that at any moment Atra was about to reach her position.

Taking in a deep breath and marking her aim, she allowed her memory to guide her. Two pairs of Razor leaves aimed itself at the Dragonite. She knew that the attacks would have little effect, and indeed they simply bounced harmlessly off the Dragonite's scales.

But the Sleep Powder she had coated them in scattered upon impact, forming a slightly visible, glittering cloud around the Dragon. She wasted no time in bringing out a Slumber Orb, focusing her attention through it to add a second layer to her attack. She understood that the enemy was strong, but if she could even make her drowsy it might be enough to give the Guild an edge in the battle.

Atra saw her shoot her razor leaves, not seeing the true purpose behind them and felt his frustration rising. What the hell did Melissa think she was doing!?

The Flareon gathered the remains of the icicles from the Dragonite's attack and formed an icicle Spear of his own. He shot it at the Dragon-type, aiming for where the wing met the shoulder, and headed the opposite way of Melissa, hoping to keep its attention off the Bulbasaur.
