That had been exactly why Xavier had chosen this perticular game our of his boxful (seriously... a boxful. And it was by no means a small box.) Tetris was easy. Tetris wasn't in the least bit scary.
Again, as long as she was having fun. They could probably drop somewhere to eat once she got bored of playing, and really he was a little amazed this held her interest for so long. Usually, girls and games did not mix.
Most of the time.

It wasn't so much that it held her attention, but rather that Tetris itself was kind of hypnotizing. Aaaand she was trying to appease his video gaming predilection. After all, there had been plenty of times she'd made him sit through some of her musicals collection, so it was an unspoken give and take. Of course her attention would probably be more honestly held by something with some substance and story to it.
Right now though Bell was noting a definite lack of a much needed line piece.

In fact, Xavier wasn't faring that much better - he'd messed one of his attempts at a combo and now the blocks were getting higher, and higher, and higher, and he seemed to be struggling to catch up, eyes narrow behind his glasses with a look of concentration that seemed almost completely wasted on a game so simple, but it all came down to one thing.
Tetris was, in fact, addicting.

As the blocks came faster and the piles got higher, Bell found the game to get less and less therapeutic, and actually challenging. Turning the pieces the right way in time, as well as having to make do with whatever piece the Tatris god threw your way... Even when she did get a piece that afforded her a little more room, things just got faster.
And everything kept going down hill. At least she was more verbally controlled this time - mentally cursing rather than shouting her expletives.

Though, perhaps surprisingly, Xavier was the first one to slip and reach the top of the grid - effectively ending the game. "Im so rusty..." Though, at least Bell hadn't been too far away from causing a game over herself. Had it been otherwise it would have probably been rather... well, embarrassing."
A quick look at the clock revealed that it was close to noon. "Do you want to go get something to eat ?" He offered her. He didn't usually eat breakfast on days where he didn't work or had school, so he was starting to feel a little hungry.

And because she was such a fail cook, going to get something was the best option. At the present moment she wasn't particularly hungry, but that would likely change by the time they got somewhere. She nodded.
"Sure. What do you feel like today?" Bell asked, setting the controller aside since the game was over. Bell wasn't likely to complain much about anything he chose. She was rather acquiescent when it came to food or entertainment.

"Dunno, I was thinking italian ?" Xavier strugged as he got up to turn the console off, gathering both controllers to rest them on top of the tv.
"There's a new italian place that opened up not too long ago. It's a little far but it shouldn't be too bad." If his car started, that is. Though, now that the Kaguya-caused cold was long gone, it wasn't as much as an issue as it used to be - which made less cusswords escape his own mouth.
But then again, the old car was a fickle beast. Might as well toss a coin !

"Sounds good to me." She definitely couldn't argue with pasta and breadsticks. On note of the car, Bell really didn't mind walking. It wasn't as deathly cold as it had been before. Tolerable, would perhaps be the word.
Bell stretched, flopping to her side on the couch before moving to stand up. Sitting so long, tensed up from game playing had made the stretching necessary, and she couldn't understand how anyone would put themselves through that for hours on end. Then again, same could be said for theatre...

He waited for her to be ready before heading to get his coat and hand her her own before they both headed out and he locked the door. Time to tempt fate !
....Fate was no so easily tempted.
Yup, they were walking. Xavier looked like he had half a mind to kick his car (this would have ended badly) before giving up after a few minutes of tinkering.
"Old as hell piece of.... I had that repaired last week !"

Bell gave a sympathetic smile during the car ordeal. "Well, look at it this way - walking is better for the environment," She said, offering something positive. Walking was fine, and she made no complaints as laced her fingers through his to walk hand in hand.
"But in that case, I'd blame whoever did the repairs. They're probably hoping you'll come back, so they can squeeze more money out of you." Shows how much faith Bell had in many people in the service world. Although having a car would be convenient when it came to grocery trips, Bell did just fine walking, or taking the bus, so she really didn't see much of a need. It was certainly an expense she saved on - no buying insurance, gas, repairs...
