Music was something the water djinn held a very large appreciation and passion for. It was obvious in her hobbies, her skills, even the way in which she moved and walked. As if there was a constant beat and rhythm playing at the back of her mind at all times, and she was just itching to dance. So while not first in line, she had made it a point to hurry down to the class to sign up the very second she'd gotten wind of it's existence. Upon entering the room she'd find it already quite full with familiar faces, and she'd turn a bright smile to her friends, fingers wiggling in a tiny wave, as she made her way back to the music stand and sign up notices that rested upon it. Of course she'd barely finished scrawling her name upon the parchment with the stand itself turned about and delivered a sudden and surprising bite to the ghoul's fingers. It startled her, and she jerked her hand away with a small gasp of pain. "Now that wasn't very nice. Shame on you.." Frowning, she gave the stand a firm look as she turned to join her friends, wondering vaguely if scolding the thing really did any good. The hand it'd bitten was curled up, tiny wound pressed to her lips. It wasn't really painful so much as annoying, and it had drawn a drop or two of blood.

Amrita had enjoyed the Battle of the Bands. Sure holding a Guitar with backwards hands was a little more than difficult, and sure they did lose in the first round, but the point was that she had fun. She had yet to be able to find (or even remember go to out and find) a guitar to keep practicing for next time, and so when she heard about Music Class she thought it would be a great way to be able to play with that instrument again.
So there she was, staring at the music stand and the sign up sheets, reaching out to sign her name, luckily avoiding being bitten by the stand moments later.
Whew!

Tahki shly wandered into the room and signed her name. Unlucky for the gryphon she was bitten... hard! Tahki let out a cry of pain and craddled her hand. That hadn't been expected at all. Tahkis eyes were tearing up.

Junko winced and watched as the music stand bit a few students, very glad she'd managed to get her name down without being bitten. But she was very glad to see she knew all the students so far, even if it was only by face or name and not actually knowing them just yet. She waved to Gabrian and Alcie as they arrived, clapping excitedly. "Alcie! Gabrian!" She called out happily to them, jumping soon after when she heard a yelp. What the--was that Christof's finger?! She stared wide-eyed at the finger bleeding and not attached to Christof's hand.
"Oh, Jack! Are you alright?" She put a hand over her mouth and frowned, wincing when she heard a music stand bite someone else nearby and looked to see who the latest victim was. "Yaya! Oh dear, are you okay? This thing is just biting anyone it ca--gah!" She jumped when yet another student cried out in pain, looking to Tahki now. Oh no!
"Wh...n-no! Don't cry! It'll be okay!" Junko frowned again, glaring at the music stand biting everyone. What a horrible stand!

Christof jumped when the kelpie came up behind him, getting blood all over his backpack as he scrambled to keep a hold. When Calder managed to get through signups without so much as a scratch, he scowled. Lucky b*****d. He jutted a thumb at the stand, shaking his head. If the horse-boil wanted to go fish out the finger, he was welcome. Personally, he'd like to keep what digits he had left in order of at least ATTEMPTING to play the instrument that made an awful noise as he hugged his bag tighter to his chest.
Well, as much as Calder annoyed him, it was nice having a friendly face around. More students were spilling in, too, it seemed, and at the sight of Amrita drifting in amongst the others, he gave an enthusiastic wave- that was cut short by the sight of a certain demoness with silver fingers. Miss Yaya was quickly crawling into the dark recesses of his heart, and his mind was suddenly filled with images of fingers caressing the strings of a violin or sliding along the shaft of a flute or tickling a guitar.... he sighed, slowly lowering his hand as he wobbled quietly.

Nursing the bit finger between pursed lips, the marid joined her best ghoulfriend along with the steadily growing cluster of familiar students. "Yes, I'm fine. It was just unexpected," she assured, checking to see if the bleeding had stopped. It had, for the most part. A firm squeeze brought a hint of crimson to the surface of dark skin, but left alone it certainly wouldn't be enough to dot her own or anyone elses clothing, and that had been her primary concern with the bite.
Coming to a stop beside Junko, the demon draped her arm around the other ghoul's shoulders, holding her hand out so she could see the nibbled on finger. "See? It's already stopped bleeding." Even as she spoke she'd giving Junko's hands a concerned once over, but they appeared unharmed. Even still.. "It didn't get you, then?"
Junko had escaped the music stand unscathed, but not everyone was so lucky, and a few spots of crimson on the floor drew her attention up to Christof. "Oh dear." That looked painful. Then again, the patchwork was undead, and she wasn't entirely certain they registered pain the same as those among the living. She'd have to ask him some time. "Are you quite alright Sir Igor?"

Tahki held her injured hand and quietly choked down her would be tears.
"Oh.. Im.." She felt something liquid underneath her hand and grimaced some. Dare she look down to see her wound? No. Tahki wasn't about to faint and be sent to the nurses office from the sight of her own blood. Not today.
"Im.. Im... Fine.?" Tahki's lie some how turned into question form.

Myr was aiming for a well rounded education, and since he actually liked music, this was the ideal class. It seemed that he wasn't the only one that thought so, and he grinned at the ones he recognized, before approaching the music stand that the sign up pages were sitting on. It seemed almost to be grinning at him, but Myr ignored it, signing his name on the sheet. That proved to be a mistake. The music stand bit him, hard. " Oww!!" he yelped loudly, the music stand drawing blood. He cradled his hand away from the paper, not wanting to drip anymore blood on it, wrapping the bottom of his shirt around it. Sneak peered out from under Myr's hat, scampering down his arm and nuzzling the wound. "I'll be okay," he reassured the ferret. " It's just my luck, anyways." The ferret nuzzled it again, and then scampered back up his hand, perching on his shoulders. Apparently he felt the need to keep an eye on things for a while. He glanced around the room, and noticing Ren, moving over to the boy, and the friend he had with him. " Hey." he said, still keeping his hand wrapped. " Did either of you get bit by that Jack cursed piece of furniture?"

Junko's frown faded a bit when she felt her friend draping on her, leaning against Yaya and looking to the finger being presented to her. Oh! That was good. Poor Christof seemed to have suffered the worst from this thing so far; he was the only one that actually lost his finger. "Nope! It didn't get me. It tried, but it missed." She held up both hands as proof for Yaya to see her uninjured fingers, briefly resting her head against Yaya's shoulder until she heard Tahki's very reluctant answer. Huh? She wasn't sure if she was okay? Junko blinked and lifted her head to see what Tahki's damage was. Oh dear...maybe if they wrapped it with something? She seemed so upset! Everyone else had at least only momentarily cursed at the thing!
"Um..how about...oh!" Junko bent down a little to tear a strip from one of her black stockings; they were already torn and it was all intentional so what was one more tear? She smiled at Tahki and leaned away from Yaya so she could move closer to the gryphon, holding up the strip of fabric. "How about I wrap your finger with this?"

Christof wobbled when Yaya spoke to him, and despite the seemingly drastic wound he seemed unfazed. Perhaps if the dice of fate had rolled a bit higher he would have been missing more fingers, or even his whole hand, and so he felt he had come out of the predicament lightly. He generally TRIED to not fall apart, on principal, but with so many distractions around, like pretty ghouls for example, it was difficult not to. At the sight of the cut on her own finger, his eyes widened and he snatched the make-shift bandage Calder had offered him, offering it out to her with an anxious, tight-lipped whine. Her poor fingers! It better not leave a scar! Did she still have all of her fingers? He sighed with relief. Yes, just a little bit of blood.

Usually he wasn't too observant, but Christof rarely had that sort of far-off expression that said his interest was kept, and seeing as he didn't spot any masters or mistresses around barking orders, he turned to see who it was. A smile broke out when he spotted Yaya, his fellow swimmer and self-appointed watcher to make sure he kept himself in line. He waved back, and noticed that she too was licking a wound. It seemed everyone was too slow for the pedestal, and he beamed more at being one of the few who was lucky enough not to be bitten. With the instrument he had, he needed all his fingers.
Just as they approached, Calder felt the bandage he had been holding out snatched from his hands and instead of seeing the Igor fix up his larger wound, he offered it immediately to Yaya. The look he gave was nothing less than adorable, and Calder smiled. Well. Well. Seemed someone was smitten. Hmmmm. That gave him a bit of an idea, especially when teh boil WASN'T TALKING?! WTF CHRISTOF?!!
Calder sighed loudly, looking at the Igor with a flat Are you kidding me? look before rolling his eyes. He gave up at times trying to understand the Igor. He had a mouth and he was still grunting. If he liked the girl, why not kneel before her and recite the words of his deepest love for her? Nope. He grunted. That was it. He was going to have to show Christof a thing or two about his new freedom.
"Hi, Yaya. Seems you got nicked too. That is some nippy pedestal." He pointed out. "Do you play an instrument?"

Sharra sighed, not entirely sure what he was doing in this class. He knew, however, that unless he attained some practice, he was going to fail rather miserably in any singing attempts hereafter. Or at least, that was his general theory, and already he could tell that his darling djinn was planning on trying to lure him into some artsy club or another. Not that he minded terribly, Sharra was just generally against making a spectacle of himself...or at least the negative sort of spectacle. Moving to sign his name, he noticed that the page was stained, and thus was a touch wary. Upon scrawling, he then attempted to remove his fingers, and the stand rather merrily clamped down...already anticipating, he tensed, "Ow!" The sound more out of a reactionary instinct than real, physical pain. "I think maybe it has a thing for me..." He muttered, shaking the digits the thing had nibbled on. Ah grand.
Looking for his ghoul, he saw the dark-skinned lass currently engaged with Christof and another boil...and so ambled that way with a bit of a grin on his features. Even with the vicious accessories, this class couldn't be so bad if he had Yaya for a classmate, now could it?

The cry came from a rather familiar voice, and Amrita turned to see poor Tahki, looking rather upset. The little Vetala instantly made her way over, looking rather worried. On her way past she saw Christof's enthusiastic wave which she returned with a happy smile. The igor found himself distracted with Yaya, so Amrita went back to what she was originally planning on doing; making sure Tahki was okay.
Of course Junko got there first, and so the little Undead hung back a little bit, waiting for the moment she could bother her friend.

The demon ghoul smiled, bumping her brow against the top of Junko's head as she rested against her shoulder. "Well that's good." At least the monster hadn't been nibbled on. Protective as Yaya was for her friend, she'd have felt bad had she gotten hurt. Noticing the way Junko was glancing towards Tahki, the water djinn took her arm back, letting the futakuchi-onna wander off to play nurse to the other ghoul.
And it would seem someone else was keen to play nurse as well, though there was something a little off about the current situation. Christof, one finger missing, was holding a bandage up to Yaya, who's finger had already ceased bleeding. "Now this seems a little backwards to me." Chuckling softly, She took the offered bandage, but not to wrap her own finger with. Instead she held it, and her free hand out to the Igor. "I appreciate the gesture, though you need this more then me, so how about I give you a hand?" She pointed towards his injured hand.
Calder had come to join them as well, and she turned a friendly smile up to him as he greeted her. "I did, but not as bad as Christof." That was sort of an understatement.
The arrival of her dearest nergal rather easily captured her attention and held it. First his voice, though she could barely hear his words, mumbled as they where. Then that easy grin he aimed at her as he approached. She of course smiled in return, a sly, knowing little curl of lips as she bent over the patchwork's hand. "I'm afraid the music stand is out of luck, considering you're already spoken for."

Give him a hand give him a hand give him a hand ahahahahahahaahahaha the hunchback was practically floating as he let her take his injured hand he had more than forgotten about. Oh she could give him a hand, alright, any day, any moment- electric impulses ran up his arm from where her soft skin cradled his rough, stitched palm. His free hand moved up to gently touch her wrist, trying to be subtle about measuring how large around they were- nice and slender. He hardly noticed the Nergal boil waltz in, his mind filled with pink fog and dead bunnies.
Spoken for? Music Stand? He wasn't sure what she meant but he was entirely sure he liked it.
