Crocs Zeus Zeus and Crocs looked at each other. They were both thinking the same thing. They needed to come up with a stratagy. They could stick with Crocs slowing down the ice types with scary face while Zeus takes them out with his fighting and electric attacks.Thats what they normally do and it seemed to work for them in the past. Zeus looked around to analize the other teams. "Wow, when that alarm goes off, nearly every team comes to answer the call" Zeus said. He turned to Crocs "I guess you and I arnt the only ones who thought they could get recegnition from this." Zeus said. Crocs nodded but then turned his attention to Lucy. "Hey Lucy, You mind filling us in on whats going on? all we know is that we were called here for assistance, but what could be happpening that we would be called?" Crocs asked Lucy.

Ethfael & Sereni Ethfael sighed at the news; Nico was truly a menace. It was odd, he thought, the randomness of Nico's attacks as rather odd. He'd seem to disappear and then reappear without any warning. Although he wasn't very keen on discovering what an insane criminal that created zombies was thinking, he couldn't help but wonder if perhaps there was some type of master plot behind his plans. He realized then that Sereni would be completely clueless on the subject of Nico, and proceded to enlighten her. "Nico is...well a psychotic Weavile. He infects Pokemon with a virus that turns Pokemon into what are essentially zombies."
Sereni looked at Ethfael in horror, "But how can that be?" The news clearly had upset her.
Ethfael shook his head, "I don't know," he replied, "But the Pokemon don't seem to recognize anything and simply attack anything. We've been searching for a cure by finding pages from a journal recently. I just hope that it does what they claim it will do." As an afterthought, he specified a bit more, "They say it will cure the virus, and hopefully we can eliminate it and Nico. Nico's right hand, as Lucinda put it, is a zombified Gallade by the name of Kage. It means trouble if he's there, that's for certain."
Sereni frowned her lights dimming. It was an unhappy thought that such a thing could happen to Pokemon, and if this Nico was causing it, then it had to be right for them to do something about it. She wasn't particularly strong against Ice-Types, but then neither was Ethfael, so they could work together to figure something out. She had faith that it was on Ethfael's mind even now judging by the thoughtful look in his eyes. As the Gardevoir created the portal Sereni did her best to put on a smile. "We'll be fine I'm sure," she said, "Shall we go?"
Ethfael nodded, concealing his inner dread of the battle. Ice-Types were unplesant when they were attacking, and he truly wasn't looking forward to this in the slightest. "Yes," he said, "Let's go." He headed through the portal with Sereni following right behind, both hoping that this would be quick.

Isaire & Rion_____________________________________________________________ Isaire padded behind Rion as he led the way, head still hanging down in defeat as her tail drug behind her, but her ears perked up at the sound of an alarm, and an announcement calling for all able bodied teams. Isaire perked up at this herself, running to stop Rion. "Forget capture the flag! We need to go help," she exclaimed, beginning to run back to the center of it all. Rion stopped at this. "Aww, but I wanted to play capture the flag," he said in a moan. Isaire stopped and glared at him. "We can't miss a chance like this! Do you know how many other teams are probably there already? I don't want to be left out," Isaire said, turning to go, but still Rion didn't move. She thought quickly, trying to think of something to get him to come along, and then she found it. "Just think about it. If they have to call all the teams in the area, think of how important the matter at hand is. It could be quite the adventure," Isaire coaxed as Rion turned more towards her. It wasn't a moment later that he was in. "Well, what are we waiting for! Let's go," he exclaimed, padding past Isaire, who struggled to follow behind.
Rion skidded to a halt as he reached the center of attention, looking around at all the other teams and pokemon that were around, as Isaire came in behind him, panting and dragging her tail again. She stopped to get her breath as she looked around with Rion, now realizing just how lost and out of place they were. She leaned into Rion. "How do we figure out whats going on? They all look too scary to ask," she whispered, now cowering back as her ears folded down, and her tail wrapped around her for a slight sense of security.

Nikolas & LunaLuna fell silent, realizing that her words had probably gone unheeded. It didn't matter, to her, anyway. She had spent the majority of her life blind in one eye. The lack of depth perception had made her training as a young warrior very difficult... but it had made her balance impeccable. She knew how to adjust her balance and remain upright even on slippery, mobile surfaces. An iceberg would not be a problem, as long as she was reasonably cautious. She inhaled silently, taking a deep breath as the portal appeared before her. Well, there was the swirling mass of death. She supposed she might as well go through it. Without hesitation, the pale, unusually-marked Ground-type stepped through the portal, having waited her turn long enough. Bone club held tight in the palm of her hand, she disappeared with a flash, reappearing on the other side.
Nikolas frowned. The look of pain on the Lopunny's face was indeed that; he couldn't mistake it for fear, or anything else. But... it was a different sort of pain, than that of a stomach ache. An emotional one. Perhaps loss? He didn't know. A nearby Gardevoir seemed to be having the same troubles, and the Banette sighed quietly. He didn't really understand what Jack was hurting over, but it was clearly not something he wished to divulge to the likes of him. He should have guessed as much; most people didn't really see him as a great person to talk to. Being covered in scarring, ugly stitches could do that. "...I hope you feel better, then. If you're coming... I guess I'll see you on the other side." Nik murmured quietly, turning away and moving straight through a young Meowth. "Sorry, Miss." He added under his breath to the Normal-type. Nikolas then slipped silently into the portal.

Isaire & Rion_____________________________________________________________ Rion looked down to Isaire who was curling up by his side, almost using him as a cover. He was a little thrown off at this, seeing his "perfect" leader so intimidated, he didn't quite know how to react. He took a side step to the left, leaving Isaire out in the open, who only curled up tighter, without much to say. She watched all the pokemon around now, and saw one heading towards her, only to have him go through her. She froze at this, fur standing up on end as she continued to shake. Rion watched this, turning to Isaire. "What's with you," he asked inquiringly, still to excited about such an adventure to actually focus on much else. Isaire looked up to him. "Umm, uh, nothing. It's just cold in here is all. Don't worry about me though, we should find out what's going on," Isaire said in a quiet, shaky voice. Rion studied her more closely now, she wasn't a very good liar. "You're scared aren't you? Just a few minutes ago you were the one that convinced me to come here. What's your deal," he continued, now focusing a bit more on Isiare, who only continued to quiver in a curled up ball of white and silver. She looked around. "I hadn't realized how strong all the other teams are. They're all so big and strong, and I'm a Meowth cub who couldn't even compare to the others of my age because I was so small," she said quietly, her voice just barely audible. Rion stopped at this. That was a first. He had never seen her so vulnerable before, and that was a huge piece of insight of how her life had been for her. He still wasn't too fond of her, but he couldn't just leave her shaking like that, so he took a side step back, not as close as before, but didn't want her to feel so out in the open.

~Jack ~Reo
Jack watched as Nikolas departed; his mind stressing between following along and apologizing for his coldness or just letting the Bannette go. Before he could even make a decision the ghost was out of sight; pretty much answering his struggles for him. He felt bad for blowing one of the only acquaintances in the area that he had, but fearing what was about to come he didn't exactly want to be a burden on anyone else either... From the looks of it he wasn't doing much interacting for the day unless approached. At the moment he had the choice to just stay behind but something forced him forward to face his fears as he stepped through the portal.
"I'm here for you..." There really wasn't much else that Reo could have said to the determined Gardevoir once he had his mind set on something. This did seem like a rough mission though and Flavio wasn't exactly even dressed appropriately... Claw in hand the duo nevertheless departed through the portal provided.
~Mikhail
Mikhail just sighed. This conversation they were having now being a seemingly never ending cycle in which there was not a chance for him to ever get an upper hand. Casually the Weavile reached into a slit cut out of the bottom of his scarf and seemed to fiddle around in it for a bit before pulling out a lone pill and popping it into his mouth inconspicuously; this was going to be a long, stressful day...

Lucy---&--- Lucinda---&--- EiraEira nodded to Mikhail before entering the portal, letting it take her wherever it lead. Lucy's blue eyes glanced down at the new team that was asking her questions, then over at another new team composed of two felines. She gathered both teams together with a sigh. "Here's the deal, you guys. If you want to take part in this mission, I suggest you stay by me or another higher ranking team. You can look up the details on what we're doing in the guild archives when we're finished." The Weavile then nodded and entered the portal herself. Rev---&--- Raziel---&--- FlavioOn the other side of the portal, the teams would find themselves standing on snow and ice. It was nothing but white around them, with the exception of a comparably dark sky. In the middle of this icy island was a large mountain of ice, much like the volcano from the past journal mission.

Nikolas & LunaLuna looked around, surveying the landscape on the other side of the portal. It was barren and icy, just as expected. The only real significant changes in the mass of solid ice seemed to be the great mountain ahead of them, and what appeared to be a deep fissure running through the glacier a little ways to the West. They probably wouldn't have to deal with the fissure, but it was good to remember. The ice seemed stable here, but it was very slippery underfoot, and Luna half-skidded across the smooth, cold surface to near the front of their gathering group. She felt Fire-type magic sink lower down through her body, melting the ice slightly around her feet as she attempted to regain some feeling in her already numb feet. This was going to be interesting.
Nikolas did much the same as Luna, though he floated higher above the ground, trying to get a good idea of what the mountain ahead was like. He didn't dare move closer, for fear of alerting Nico's forces of their presence, and quickly sank back down into the crowd, only to find himself once again standing near Jack. The Banette shifted awkwardly, feeling more than a little bit uncomfortable with the silent treatment that Jack was beginning to give. He was used to getting the cold shoulder, but that didn't mean he liked it.

Crocs Zeus They nodded at what Lucy suggested. Crocs looked over at the team of cats and gave them a jolly smile. "Look on the bright side,we aren't the only team of rookies to go on this mission, huh Zeus?" Crocs said. Zeus nodded "That's right, just stick with us.We may be rookies, but we have a strategy that will keep all the ice monsters at bay." He said in a reassuring tone. Crocs began to walk to the portal "That's right, this will be a walk in the park for us..." After he said that he tripped and face planted onto the floor. "This means nothing...we are still awesome." Crocs said with his face still on the floor, so it was a little muffled. Zeus sighed, he turned to the team of cats "So wanna hang with us for this mission?" He offered holding his hand out.

~Jack ~Reo
Jack, finding himself still in a tightly knit crowd on the other side of the portal, gave a glance to his surroundings but nothing more. With the body heat radiating all around him off of others accompanied by his thick fur there wasn't really much that could trouble him besides the slick ground at his feet. The conditions in which these events were going to happen were hardly his concern at the moment, the fact of what he was about to face being a much greater priority.
Without hesitation, Reo wrapped large arms around Flavio's body as they entered the wintery hell. Just as suspected before departing the scenery hardly looked appropriate for the Gardevoir. "We still have the chance to head back now if you need..." He offered out of nothing more than worry for his love's safety.
~Mikhail
Mikhail, having also walked through the portal without fear, was quite content with what he saw. This was at least far better than the last adventure of theirs scenery-wise.

Ethfael & Sereni Ethfael shivered as a chill wind blew past, taking in the scenery about them. The entire island was covered in snow and ice, and a mountain that looked as if it was made of pure ice. The sky was eerily dark, and Ethfael felt slightly nervous in spite of himself. It clearly wasn't the most welcoming of places to be, but one could have expected as much. As he moved forward he slid more than usual thanks to the lack of friction on the ice. The Dratini made a mental note about that, because it could be the difference between life and death when it came to the battle.
Sereni looked about with about as much enthusiasm as Ethfael. She was reminded of the volcano where they had fought Heatran and quivered slightly. With any luck this would not be a repeat of that scenario. Lucinda had said that it was just Ice-Types and Kage that they had to deal with, but she couldn't stop the shivers that ran down her spine. "It's so desolate..." she said quietly to Ethfael.
The Dratini nodded, but said nothing, feeling less than talkative. His thoughts were somewhere else, although he appeared focused, and without Era there he lost his willingness to talk. Sereni could tell a bit of this and bit her lip nervously; it made her feel as good as by herself to have Ethfael being so distant. She looked about, sticking close to her silent leader, and watched warily for any sign of trouble.

Team ThundercloudBel jumped at the sound of the alarm, listening intently to the details. After he heard the word: "Ice", he ran out the door and into the guild hall without so much as a "Later!" to his teammates. Sighing, Elly elected to accompany him, leaving Fon to care for the eggs their team had adopted. They arrived just as everyone made their way into the portal, sliding in at the coattails of the group. Bel seemed especially happy with the chilly environment on the other side, but Elly, however, was quite the opposite, huddled up to her partner for warmth.

Albus & LauraAlbus stepped through the portal with Laura short behind him, his only reservations about the mission being that he was following advice from the sister of the man who nearly killed most of the guild last time. Though at least she was smart enough to scout ahead and inform the guild, so at the very least she was above the level of "functionally retarded" that Solaris and Mercutio seemed to endorse.

Lucy---&--- Lucinda---&--- EiraAs everyone arrived, Lucinda stepped through the portal herself and closed it behind her. "I'm aware that everyone can see the large mountain of ice we've emerged by. Our goal is within that mountain. However, we can't get inside." Lucy turned to the teams, lifting a claw. "So we're gonna blow the thing sky high!" She exclaimed. There was then a symphony of loud roars. Turning around, it was revealed that now guarding the mountain, was a large army of Ice type Pokemon. At the back was their leader, Kage. Rev---&--- Raziel---&--- Flavio"I hope you're ready to fight, Raziel..." Rev said, taking a fighting stance. Next to Reo, there was a bright flash. Flavio was gone. Flavio VS. KageFlavio was now standing in front of his undead father, behind the army of Pokemon. "... I'm here, father... I'm ready..." He said softly. Kage glared at the Gardevoir before grinning and lifting an arm. All of the Ice types began to roar and charge at the guild members.
