A lone Gardevoir walked down the halls of the burn ward of the hospital.
She eventually came to the room she had been told of.
With a sigh, she pushed the door open and went inside.
Curled up on the bed inside was a little Mew, still recovering from burns of a previous mission.
"I'm sorry Stella, but I need your help..." Lucinda whispered softly.
She did her best to find an unburned section of the Mew's body to place her hand.
The Gardevoir then closed her eyes, merging her psychic power with the Mew's and spreading her senses out far and wide.
It went on for miles and miles when assisted by the Mew.
Eventually, it came to rest on one spot.
"There it is..."

The guild alarm sounded, signaling it was time for the members to group up once more to trounce evil.
This time, a new little addition from Spike was put to use, an intercom.
Lucy's voice sounded through it.
"All available teams, report to the Main Hall! Those of you who are weak to Ice attacks, it is recommended you do not attend!"

Jack arrived at the call of the alarm for once, figuring his presence was at least needed by the guild once in awhile despite his own inability to actually do anything of use. From what he figured he'd at least stand a chance with the whole warning about 'Ice' whatnots and all; he having held his own a few times in at least verbal quarrels with the magenta Weavile whom happened to be the one summoning the masses together on this fine day.

Reo also arrived as a representative for the Sun guild; Flavio in tow as always. An icy mission seemed appropriate for he himself, and he truly tried to get the Gardevoir to stay home, but alas the blind idiot insisted to join along. The worry of it all already taking a great tole on the Blaziken.

User Image~Mikhail

Mikhail, having already been in the relative vicinity on errands; figured it best to donate his icy abilities to whatever the common goal may be for the day; his guild possibly having the same idea but for the moment he was alone amongst the crowd of Sun Guilders which were obviously first to arrive. His guildmaster having just recently gotten her stitches removed he prayed that she would have the common sense to stay back on this one; then again after the last run he ended up with a mental breakdown...But let's not mention that for now...

Albus & Laura

Tolin listened to the alarm. If it had been Solaris he might have bothered to check, but considering it was Lucy it had to be related to Nico. Which, long and short of it, meant he had better things to do. The rumour mill was constantly turning and even if there was only a one in one thousand chance of any of them being fruitful, it was still worth checking. If he examined ten a day for the next two months, then something was bound to happen. Something already had.

Well, not to mention ice was not exactly something he mixed with. Very little of the team did. The only ones who could take ice attacks were ASAR and Albus. Although the rest weren't weak in the typing sense, Lia was hardly a fighter and Sam wasn't very strong either. Laura was... effectively made of water, so the significance of a powerful ice attack could easily be fatal. Sam would probably ice over quickly as well, but while he would definitely survive the process of reviving him would be slow and painful.

"Albus, answer the alarm." "No." "I wasn't asking. Go answer the alarm."

Albus nearly bared his fangs at the Scyther, but he didn't have much of a choice. Tolin was very obviously aware of the fact that he wanted to take over the Pluto household. The subtle tone of anger and the definite command of an order didn't sit well with the Flareon, but the worst thing he could do was retaliate. Attack and he would lose the seat for sure. Do nothing... and it still reflected badly on him. He had already lost enough of the Scyther's precious opinion.

Not that Tolin understood. Nobody understood. The quiver in his maw that tempted him to draw blood settled. "Fine." He shoved the door open and called back into the room. "Laura! C'mon, we're leaving to deal with the alarm."

Laura's head popped through a doorway, first looking ecstatic and then very quickly calming down. Or was it, perhaps, a passive obedience? Even, fear? She nodded regardless. "Of course."

Tolin closed the newspaper he had been reading. One scythe came off the chair to signal for the Vaporeon to stop. She glanced up at him, confused but patiently waiting for him to speak. "Be careful, Laura. I don't know what an Ice attack will do to a Vaporeon. If it gets bad, either run away or stay near Albus. He'll protect you."

Laura smiled. "Of course. Even if he's like this now... he's still my knight." Or maybe prince would be the better term? With that, she scampered off to catch up to the impatient Flareon.

That's not quite what I meant... With how hot he'll probably get, any ice attacks that get anywhere near him will melt.

Nikolas

Nikolas looked up as the alarm sounded, sitting on the side of his Guildmaster's bed. Sonata was curled up at the foot, sleeping, and the Guildmaster himself lounged lazily, clearly bored of the hospital setting, but not complaining as a nurse changed the bandage on his shoulder for what had to be the tenth time that day. Something about status seemed to make some of the nurses fussier than usual. Or maybe it was just the fact that his Guildmaster was easy on the eye; he didn't know.
"I'm off. You and Sona stay put." He called over his shoulder casually, waving a hand as he headed for the door, tightening his stitches.
"The least you could do is take me with you." The Arcanine muttered.
Nik snickered. "Suck it up, you get some alone time with a pretty girl~" He teased.
Frost watched the nurse leave, and it was obvious that she was still watching him as she left. "With all the nurses around here, I don't feel particularly alone." He replied, snorting in irritation.
Nikolas laughed, and phased through the door that the nurse had closed in his face. How rude of her.

Luna

Luna stood up, rising off the sofa. She rubbed her eyes, stretching a little as she listened to the announcement. She'd been pretty annoyed about the speaker system being installed in their room, and she still was. It disrupted her nap. She'd have to ask later that they remove it, and have it in the hall instead.
She reached up to the shelf, snatching her bone club into her hand, and strapping a single-strap, diagonal rucksack onto her back. It was sturdy, but small. Designed for carrying medical supplies in battle. Just in case.
The note of Ice-types reminded her of Nico, and, if that was the case, she wanted to be prepared.
She left the room, locking it behind her, and heading down toward the main hall to meet the rest of her guild.

Ethfael & Sereni

Ethfael reported with Sereni beside him to answer the alarm. Granted, he was a Dragon-Type making a fight against Ice-Types not really his thing, but he had faith in the Mirage Cloak which he wore about him to keep him safe, seeing as the one who had given it to him was someone he trusted. That and the fact that everyone else couldn't really come. Era was still recovering from the last Guild mission, although it had been several days by now, and Erinn...well a Paras was certainly going to be no good against Ice-Types. Both Rivia and Phione were too young, which left Sereni. The Lanturn had offered to go by herself, but Ethfael had insisted on coming with her. He and Era both believed that it was important for at least one of them to be with their other Teammates whenever they went off on missions, it being their responsibility as leaders. So here they stood amidst a crowd of others.

Sereni looked about curiously to see if the one who had summoned them was somewhere about. She didn't know what it was exactly but it seemed like this gathering was different than the last. The Lanturn hadn't recognized the voice that had been on the announcements, which Ethfael had informed her was Lucy, which led her to think that the threat was different today. Still, a threat was a threat all the same, and while it was offsetting to be with just Ethfael, who was admittedly distracted, she felt that they would both be sufficiently able to handle it. Now they just had to wait for instuction about the situation and how Ice-Types came into play.

It still amazed Celsus that answering the guild alarm was considered optional, or so he had surmised from what he had seen. Occasions like these were often, as he had observed, vital to the world's continued existence. This was the Guild of the Sun--whenever something genuinely important was threatened, it was their responsibility to be there and put an end to the threat.

Thus, the team that he led once again went to answer the alarm.

Chuck had been oddly quiet. Normally, the Charmander was always--always, to Oliver's dismay--hyperactive. Now he seemed almost sullen. He was quiet enough, in fact, that Oliver was beginning to get worried.

Ah well. Whatever it was, it was probably temporary.

Crocs and Zeus heard the alarm ring while they were in thy're rooms at the guild.Crocs looked over at Zeus and they both smiled at each other. "This is it man, this is our time to shine." Crocs said while he patted himself on the chest. Zeus smirked as he folded his arms. "And what makes you so sure about that? If you havent forgotten already, we're still rookies." Zeus said as he turned his head away from Crocs while his arms were still crossed.Crocs walked over to Zeus and put his arm around Zeus's shoulder. "Come on bro, you need to have more faith in us than that." Crocs said. Zeus walked over to the door and opened it, He turned back and looked at Crocs. "Yeah, maybe. But our types arnt the best match up for ice." Zeus replied. Crocs practiclly skiped over to Zeus with a happy grin on his face. "But our types arnt the worst match for ice types either." Crocs said.Zeus smiled and held his hand up for a high five. "So true, so true." Zeus said as Crocs and him high fived. They left their rooms and ran down the hall to the direction of the Travel Chamber. Once they reached the travel chamber, they both walked over to where an abra was sitting. Crocs walked until he was in front of the Abra with Zeus right behind him. "Main Hall" Crocs said to the Abra. The Abra stood up and held his hands out to Crocs and Zeus. They both grabed one of the Abra's hands and he teleported them to the Main Hall. Once they were at the Main Hall,They started to search for the one named Lucy. They searched all over the Main Hall until they found Lucy. They both stood up straight and saluted to Lucy "Team Devastation reporting for duty Ma'am." They said in unison.

Lucy---&---Lucinda---&---Eira

Lucy and Lucinda were both in the hall, waiting for the guild members to arrive.
Lucy was stretching her body, and the Gardevoir beside her seemed to be meditating.
She still had some of Stella's power within her, so she needed to conserve it for both trips.
"Thanks for coming, you guys. You've been a great help in beating Nico so far, and we're almost done with the antidote we need. We need to go get another journal piece today," Lucy explained.
"I apologize for my brother's incompetence in your previous journal-fetching mission..." Lucinda said softly.
"I made it my mission to find out exactly what we're up against this time. We're headed to a large glacier off a nearby coast. We'll be up against a large force of infected Ice type Pokemon. Nico's right hand Kage will be there as well."

Rev---&---Raziel---&---Flavio

"Awesome! My first mission!" Raziel said happily as he bounded into the room.
"Calm yourself, Raziel..." Rev muttered.
Flavio only shivered when he heard the name of his father spoken.

Nikolas & Luna

The Marowak's eyes narrowed at the mention of Nico, but she nodded seriously as she recognized the preparation put into the task. For once, in the entire history of the Guild of the Sun, no one was fighting blindly.
"You said something of a glacier, right?" Luna's calm voice was loud enough to carry over the crowd. "I think it would be wise, once we get there, to be careful about where we step. Glacial ice isn't always a predictable surface for fighting."
She knew too many Weaviles to not know anything about ice. Heck, she shared her bed with one of them.

Nikolas eyed the strange Marowak next to him, confused. She was a member of Frost's old team, if he remembered correctly. She was certainly as Frost had depicted, but he hadn't expected his physical description to be so... accurate.
He had made the mistake of believing Frost to be joking, when he said that she looked to be entirely blind, even when she's staring straight at you. An eerie gaze, unless you were used to it.
The Banette turned away. Women were terrifying around the guilds. If he were to ever take a wife, he was going to take one outside the guilds.
It was then that he spotted Jack, and the Banette phased through the floor, and several people, much to their shock, before popping out of the floor next to the Lopunny.
"Jack; you joining the fight today?" He asked quietly, his low voice serious and cautious. Something in the Normal-type's expression made him feel a little concerned for him.
"...Are you alright?"

At this point there wasn't really much that would phase the Lopunny, this including ghosts phasing through the floor.
"Just fine..."
Jack tried to retain his composure despite his late love's name hanging in the air.
"Not feeling very well is all."
He came up with some sort of an excuse on the spot that was obviously fake after coming to the conclusion there was no way hiding the pain in his expression.

"It'll be alright..."
Reo tried to take on a comforting tone as he casually wrapped an arm around his shuddering Gardevoir as the Psychic type's father's name was spoken so casually. It was like Lucy didn't even care there was family in the room. He too felt sorrow for the zombified Gallade, having known him slightly also.

User Image~Mikhail

"You shouldn't have come..."
Mikhail remained cold and expressionless as he watched Eira enter in with the rest of the crowd and spoke to her after trotting to her side. He knew there was no sense in arguing with her once she had her mind set on something but he couldn't keep himself shut up either for the sake of being able to say "I told you so" later.

Albus & Laura

Lead on, oh fearless idiots. Well, if it was Ice Types the worst they could do to him was make him bored. Or tired. Maybe both. It wasn't like most Ice types could even handle physical proximity with a Flareon. When you could burn rocks with your touch, it didn't take much for you to knock out an ice-type. In all likelihood if he touched them the extreme heat would cause their blood to evaporate instantly, though it was hard to say if they would even do anything if they were already dead.

Or whatever the hell Nico was.

Laura was more than uneasy, but she shed it with her own thoughts and her proximity to Albus. It'll be fine, Lori. Albus is here. He'll protect you. He'll destroy the ice types, it won't be a problem. As long as you stay close to him, you'll be nice and warm and safe. She glanced over at him, and then made a slight amendment to her thoughts. Not too close. I don't want to boil.

Atra && Spade

Atra growled at the alarm and the message that came with it. Great, now any idiot can talk and make the entire castle have to listen to them.

"Spade, you're coming with me." Atra snapped at the Buneary, going into his room and dragging the normal type out, who seemed not all that eager for the idea.

"Why me? Take Kat."

"Stop whining, you have the Icicle Plate on you what do you have to be afraid of? Ice is bad for Katara, her ditto goo freezes or something and she starts cracking. No Mel, you're staying behind."

A very excited-looking Bulbasaur had just stepped out of her room then, only to have Atra shove her back in and close the door with a strong psychic pulse.

The Flareon and the very reluctant Buneary thus arrived at the hall quite late.

The infected again, it appeared. Oliver was quite confident in the guild's success this time. After all, the last battle against hordes of zombes, as he recalled, had been a decisive victory for the guild, with every single member more or less intact. And Team Cupric was fairly well suited to dealing with ice types--they had two water types, a fire type, and an Abra with Fire Blast. As for the terrain, the team would be air. The only thing that worried Oliver was the fact that Chuck was still quiet.

Lucy---&---Lucinda---&---Eira

Eira purred gently, standing next to the Weavile she'd chosen to be her mate.
"Well, I'm here..." She said softly.
"And I need to prove that I'm not just a burden."
Lucy cleared her throat, again speaking on the new intercom.
"On my word, Agent Lynx is going to open up a portal to our destination. The fight will be tough, so only enter it if you are sure you are properly prepared for one hell of an ice fight!"
The elder Weavile then looked over at Lucinda and nodded.
The Gardevoir nodded back and focused her energy with that of Stella's which she had stored, creating a portal similar to the ones Stella could make.

Raziel, of course, was the first to run into the portal.
Rev cleared his throat and rolled his eyes, following after the excited Cranidos.
"I'm fine..." Flavio replied gently.
"It's time I finally face my fears... I need to help my father."
