Riley was pleased that Sin accepted her choice, and her hands returned to folding underneath her chin. I look forward to it.
At the mention of the promise, however, Riley's eyebrows shot up. I believe you misunderstood, Sin. In choosing a card, I have made you my promise. In accepting me as your Emperor, you have accepted my given allegiance. You may consider me your ally. I do not take this lightly. It is my greatest hope that you feel the same way.

"You may of course consider me yours as well...I'll be working in your best interests. Perhaps...in time our alliance could blossom into friendship? I have a feeling you would be an excellent friend Riley...well that was all I wanted to discuss with you. I'm sorry for dragging you to the maul, but it wouldn't do to have anyone overhearing. It's best if most believe the club died out when Braum left. To maintain our current secrecy will be difficult enough, but it's important." She slowly uncrossed her legs and moved to gather the cards slipping them back into their case and into her purse.
"If you have club business to discuss simply leave a note under my door, and don't forget not to sign your name lest anyone stumble across it." She slid her bag over her shoulder and flicked her hair back.

Think nothing of it. I think it's a wise idea, to keep the existence of the club under wraps. Very wise. She never would have thought the maul would be a good place to keep secrets, and yet.. people did seem rather focused on their own lives in this bustling place. She would have to keep that in mind.
Thank you for your invitation, Sin. I look forward to working with you and the group. She nodded her head very slowly in lieu of a farewell, her eyes closing as she did so, and then stood to leave.I'm sure I will see you soon.
As she excused herself, she managed to buy another one of those brain shakes. They were very, very good, after all.
