Hot-tempered little Glory, now completely disoriented and thoroughly enraged by the perceived sand-kicking from her brother, threw herself head-long at him, meaning to bowl him over completely. It didn't work so well: she did hit him, at least, but her eyes were watering still and she stumbled, face-planting into the dirt beside him.
Argh! She was embarrassed, enraged, and not at all pleased with the direction this battle was taking.

LS's eyes were still watering and stinging far to much for him to see anything oher then a vague shape as his sister smacked into him and then did a faceplant beside him....in fact in his weaving aimless path as he stumbled away from her across the sand he just barely missed tripping over her sprawled form again as he tried in vain to clear the sand from his eyes.

She shook herself as she rose back to her feet, vigorously trying to clear her head and pelt of all the sand. She was on a roll, now! Somewhere, in the back of her head, she noted that her brother looked a little miserable, but she resisted the urge to stop the fight to see if he was OK. That was ridiculous.
Pressing her advantage while she still had one, Glory jumped forward and pounced on him. "Rawr!" She said, yelping delightedly as she nipped at his haunch and shoulder.

LS was indeed miserable but at least his sight had cleared enough now that he could see as Glory leaped at him from out of nowhere "Argh!" He fussed at her as her pounce sent him tumbling end over end and her nips harried at his haunch and shoulders. Kicking out with his back paw he tried to kick his sister off but he was getting tired.

She yelped in surprise at the strength of his parting blow, but she knew that he was vulnerable. Turning hell, she jumped once more, pouncing on him again and pinning him. She was victorious -- she just knew it.
Her tail waved and she grinned, then looked down at him. "Gotcha," she said, grin still upon her maw.
Then, because she didn't want any bad-blood with her favorite big brother, she gave him a bit wet kiss on the cheek.

LS had been in the process of trying to regain his feet when his sister turned around and jumped on him again - knocking poor tired LS completely flat. It might have stung his pride a little but who could resist Glory when she was so good natured about the whole thing? His tail thumped on the ground as he conceded his defeat with a large melodramatic sigh "You got me" He agreed.

In spite of the fight, Oath could plainly see there was no issue of winning and losing between the siblings and could not help but smile. This was the spirit of the tournament, she thought: to allow others to spar without letting friendships of kinsmanship be burdens. "A well fought battle, young ones," she told them, nudging Last Stand up gently with her snout. "You parents would be proud to see such developing little warriors!"
She then turned a little so that she was able to see the audience, speaking louder. "The winner is Glory Storm! The two shall go to Spellbinder for rest while we await the results of the other fights."

Such was the plan, anyway. Yet someone would soon come to interrupt that peaceful interlude after everyone had been well rested, several hours later.
