The scene before her made no sense. The Bishop was trying to flee while his guards attacked the dragon. Dead or not, the Goddesses would never have abandoned those that follow them.

Sarah ducked behind a column as shattered marble flew from the force of the dragon's tail. She knew staying here was not a good idea. Again, she'd chosen the wrong path. The church was going to be brought down just like the rest of the town.

But the only way out that she could see was past the dragon and his lashing tail. And with the guards hacking and slashing at everything in sight, she dared not try to rush past them. Her best hope now was to dodge the crumbling statues until a wall was knocked down that she might be able to scramble over.

Errdii watched the Moon church from the pile of rubble that used to be the Mayor's house. Her orange eyes twinkled and a hint of a smile creased her face.

"What do you find so amusing?"

"The dragon is having more fun," she replied to her other self.

"Why would the dragon's antics amuse you?"

"His destruction means there will soon be more bodies... Fresh bodies."

"Please. You've had enough to eat."

"Ahhh, but fresh bodies means warmth." Errdii quivered in anticipation, her tail twitching behind her. "Warmth that they'll no longer need."

Valkon's tail smashed the statues around him, causing stone to fly everywhere. The shattered pieces would be there in the years to come when this place had been long forgotten. Swiping aside one grouping of guards, he flinched when the spear of one caught him in the foot. Suddenly angry, the dragon slammed the man over into the wall.

His eyes moved upwards, having noted where the Bishop had gone. Looking around the open area above him, he shook himself off a bit, arrows bouncing away from his scales. At least there was that or he would look like a pincushion. His eyes narrowed in frustration as he suddenly saw the Bishop staring down over the railing at the top. The archers who were standing next to the railing and upper pillars were no threat at all to Valkon. He ignored them for the most part.

His claws were not strong enough to dig into the marble, but the carvings around the edges looked as if they would hold him. A faint smirk entered his eyes as he watched his prey. Moving over to the two tallest statues, he studied them a moment. If he broke them just right, he could use them to climb upwards. With that thought in mind, he lashed out, snapping the heads and part of the shoulders off the two statues.

Bishop Arthurs had lost his ceremonial hat on the way up and his longer hair was flying wildly around him. "What is he doing?" he muttered under his breath. Pushing one of the archers forwards, he growled, "Stop him! Stop him now!"

"But sir," the man protested. "our arrows just bounce off his scales."

"I don't care! Do something!" the man snarled in reply. This dragon was going to die if he had to do it himself, but that meant revealing what he could do. He was not entirely prepared for that. At least not yet.

Valkon glanced over at the ghostlings as they helped others get out of the church. "I cannot protect any of you. I need to take care of him, but I can do this much." He glanced over at Clipper who was perched on a statue across the way. His tentacles reaching out from his wings to steady him as the building shook with Valkon's actions.

The dragon roared at him, causing the bird to drop into the air. Soon he was outside, swirling upwards, giving orders to some of the crows circling around the building. A swirl of them dove downwards and into the church. They began pecking and sweeping through the guards on the first floor trying to distract them from the ghostlings and the people. They were relentless as they flew into the faces distracting their weapons.

The Bishop growled angrily. Now he understood what the dragon planned. He was going to climb upwards. There had been the hope that the dragon would change to a more vulnerable shape. Not so and it annoyed the man greatly. Finally he said, "Aim for his..." Suddenly crows swept through the area, knocking one or two archers away from the balcony as Valkon climbed upwards.

His claws gripped the stone as well as he could, but he still slid a time or two before his head and front feet were on the second floor. His eyes found the Bishop who was backing away from him and looking for a place to escape to. As he pulled his entire body onto the floor, Valkon grinned, revealing teeth as the guards backed away. Their arrows were doing no good at all as the dragon began to shove pillars out of his way. The heavy marble crashed through the railing and dropping to the first floor. Anyone beneath would be crushed if they did not manage to get out of the way. Ghostlings of course could let the objects pass through them, but not so with the living still there.

Seska sighed turning to stare at the ghostling. "I said SAVE HER!" The girl was going to be crushed if she did not move. Of course she had her eyes closed.
User Image
Torm turned, staring for an instant. Time seemed to slow down as he blinked, seeing the heavy marble falling directly towards Sarah. He blinked then vanished. The next thing he knew he was standing beside her, a flash of light burst free of him. The broken pieces of marble toppled to the side blocked by the barrier he now held around them both. The dome shape caused everything to bounce away because it could not go through.

"Sarah." he called to her softly. "Girl, you cannot remain here, but I will let no harm come to you." One hand glowed, and he offered her the other. "She wants you safe."

(( Remember when I said that everyone could actually create a living character and use them in the metaplot? Well, Cricket is the only one who did. The entire theme of this event has been about the harmony between living and dead. Cricket took advantage of that and we are super pleased about that and we reward performance and creativity.

Dockmaster Torm was killed on the docks. He has returned as a centaur ghostling. The Centaurs are very special ghostlings and this is the very first one being offered. It is a reward for creating a human character to play with. The Centaurs have the ability to fight and to shield a living person. That is their sole purpose. Whenever they are RPed, they will never be more than a few feet from their living person. Think of them as a sort of guardian.

NOTE: The ONLY way to get them is to quest for them or be rewarded with one. They cannot be bought as a custom. That means you will have to do a return quest to Priyal after the metaplot is over. They are the rarest of the rare. This information will be added to the race listing. As for type... that is still normal random rolls.

Congrats, Cricket! ))

(This is probably going to be my old post as i have no idea when ill get on next)

Hikaru realized that her friend didn't reconize her and was a bit sad but knew she was new to the world of ghostlings and that she may not have gotten her memory back

For a while Hikaru just used her water element to protect people and listen in on things especially the dragons conversations it all made sense now but it still made her mad that innocent people had to die finally most ghostlings seemed to migrate towards that horid new church it wasn't anything liek hyer beautiful shrine and was just a eye sore to Hikaru but senseing that something big was going to happen Hikaru followed everybody into the church and entered just intime to hear the rest of the dragons explaination being farther out in the forest and having a beautiful shrine that was always visted and having living human friends Hikaru had never noticed the lack of faith that the living had but as the dragon spoke she realized still she wished innocent living people didn't have to die she was as fond of the living as she was the dead

So when the chao's broke out she was deturmaned to protect the innocent living and fight along side the dead to silence the evil priest but she found that the living could see her and that they could harm the dead she found this out first hand when a guard changed her with his spear attempting to run her through but being a pirate and a ship guardian in her life and being trainned by one of the best pirates in the world she easily dodged it and stuck out her foot to trip the guard

She didn't want to hurt the guards as they seemed to be posseded by a evil power and didn't seem to have control over they're senses upon seeing the failed attack of the guard other guards attacked her but just as they did marble came crashing down towards them Hikaru would be ok but the guards and any nearby people would be crushed if she didn't do something

Quickly Hikaru threw her hands above her head as she did a barrier made of water formed around everybody in danger of the falling marble when the marble hit Hikaru's barrier she struggled to keep the barrier up she had never tried to create a barrier made of water but she was deturmaned that the guards and everybody nearby would not die from the marble at least

(i hope its ok if i play some of the shop keepers)

Bertril had finally snapped out of her shock and found herself holding her precious silver pendant and in the safty of the clocktower she smiles to herself as she knows it must have been Hikaru's doing but then she wonder's where Hikaru was and so she decideds to go and find Hikaru so she could thank her but first she had to deal with her cloths she may have lost her store but she still had her dignity and so she carefully and skillfully ripped parts of the skirt part so that it was up to her knee's that was really all she could do after fixing her pendant the best she could and putting it back on she went to search for Hikaru

She had not found Hikaru but had found the dragon and followed the dragon she wanted to know why the dragon was destorying things but as she followed him she noticed it didn't really want to hurt people and often gave the livign a chance to escape and was especially careful around children and animals to which she was thankful for and as she listened to the dragon it all started to become clear she had never noticed it but people were very disrespectful to ghostlings she always had respected ghostlings and had many ghostling friends as things moved towards the church she carefully followed being careful to stay out of the dragons way and directing people towards the three places of safty she noticed anybody who went there was safe but she contiued on she felt something big would happen and she wanted to find out the whole truth

She was right as the dragon entered the church and finished telling the truth of things Chaos broke out guards who seemed to be possessed by a evil power were attacking everybody and something happened that she had never seem before all ghostlings in the church were visable she had never seen a ghostling and was amazed by how they looked she knew about the different spieces and such but had never seen them thats when she saw Hikaru throw up her barrier to protect everybody in the area from the falling marble luckly for her she was out of the way but there were still things falling everywhere and the guards were attacking the living and dead alike

Bertril knew a thing or two about fighting when she was a opera singer she took her rolls very seriously and even went so far as to learn now to fight pratically any weapon so she grabs a nearby spear that a guard had dropped and prepared to defend the living and dead both

Phillipe had gotten his family to the clocktower as Hikaru had instructed and now that they were safe he wondered where Hikaru was and felt bad about how rudely she left her and went to find her and appologize he knew now that she was just trying to help and went to go look for her which was easiler said then done and ended up following the dragon just as Bertril had he wanted answers as well though somehow he didn't run into Bertril finally he did when he followed the dragon to the church and found Bertril defending people and ghostlings from the guards he also saw Hikaru but knew he couldn't help her at the moment but knew he could help Bertril

Phillipe being a hair cutter was very good with sharp items and many a sailor and pirate both had offered to teach him how to fight with weapons in place of payment and so he grabbed a nearby sword and began defending the living and dead both

(there are other shopkeepers i could play but i don't have names for them so i won't add them phew catch up posts are hard lol)

Sounds of crashing marble reached Sarah as she hid behind the columns. The shouting of desperate men from the level above drew her attention. The Bishop appeared, again, to be pushing his men to protect him. A true leader of the faith would have gods and goddesses to call upon.

Sarah peeked out from her hiding spot to see the dragon climb the broken statues. His ascent to follow the Bishop left an opening to the front door. If she could dodge the waving tail and attacking guards, she might actually live through this chaos.

The guards were busy fighting ethereal beings when a swarm of crows flew in. Some flew up to the next level to distract the archers. Some flew in among the lower guards raking their hands and arms with claws and jabbing at their faces and vulnerable eyes with razor sharp beaks.

Sarah saw an opening, but before she could act, she heard more marble cracking and breaking, moments before she was peppered with granite bits and dust. Her hands covered her face to protect her eyes.

The floor trembled from the impact of the large chunks of granite. Cowering closer to the column, Sarah looked up at the sound of the soft voice. Was she already dead, she wondered. The apparition before her was the largest one yet to address her, but at least this one seemed friendly. And helpful, she hoped. She needed to get out of this soon-to-be rubble of a building. Sarah slowly reached out to take the offered hand wondering if there was anything really there for her to grasp.

Valkon had gotten his entire body onto the second floor. His tail lashed at the archers and guards knocking them down the hallways away from him. Of course some went over the sides of the rails, barely clinging to what was not broken. The dragon never hesitated. Even though he had sent the crows to help protect the people, he was not doing the same for those attacking him.

"You might as well give up, Bishop." he growled. "It will do you no good at all. " He moved closer to the man who suddenly bolted running upwards. The stairs had been just behind him.
He nearly smirked. Let the dragon get onto the next floor and try to stop him. There was nothing there but windows and a staircase upwards. Running quickly, the skirt of his robes pulled up into his hands, the bishop glanced behind him to see what the dragon was doing.

Valkon growled again. He'd have to chase this fellow all the way to the top, but in the meantime he had created a problem. Valkon would not fit in the staircase. He could try to climb upwards through the middle but it would be a tight fit and get worse at the top. A wicked gleam appeared in the dragon's eyes. So the man thought he had stopped him?

"Not hardly..." he muttered moving towards the large windows nearby. Then he was smasking them outwards. He'd be able to see where the bishop was the entire climb upwards through the windows that lightened the staircases. And it would be just as easy to go upwards as down.

Without hesitation, Valkon moved outside, climbing upwards. The carvings and statues on the outside of the building allowed him easy access to footholds and he grinned through the window at the bishop.

The man flinched, running up the stairs. When he was right beside Valkon on the next landing, he dove out of the way just as the dragon's claw smashed through trying to catch him. With a gasp, he began to run upwards again. At the top he would have to take care of the creature. Of course then there would be no witnesses to his ability.

Torm grasped her hand firmly with a bit of focus. How had he known he could do that? "The goddesses have given you to me to protect. We must leave this place, but do not forget what you have heard from the dragon and others this day. " Pulling her upwards, he indicated she either get on his back or walk beside him. "Remain close by so I can shield you." he stated as glass dropped from above.

Seska sighed. At least he had gotten to her in time. Her lips twitched upwards as she watched Valkon climb to the outside. He was determined to take the bishop down at least. She watched the people running from the church. So many had believed his falsities. Too many. Perhaps now they would understand who really protected them.

------
(( Torm is now entirely under your control, Cricket. Centaurs are also one of the few who can physically touch the living. It is part of their ability to protect. They are for all intents and purposes a shield and a sword that can interact with the living world solidly. Enjoy!

Valkon is climbing up the outside of the building, smashing thru windows to try to get to the bishop. Glass and pieces of wood and marble are still falling as the spire is beginning to crumble. Those that want to see what is happening, need to go up the stairs and keep climbing to the top of the spire. How brave are you? Floors 3-5 are available now. Of course the guards will be following you up or already there trying to kill everyone. The bishop said so.

Hikaru had protected the guards and everybody nearby with her water shield but at a price once the marble stopped falling she let the barrier down and huffed as she had used alot of energy to keep the marble from crushing everybody nearby the guards in the barrier had briefly stopped attacking after seeing Hikaru protect them but once again became gripped by the evil power and rushed at Hikaru

Hikaru had not noticed them rushing at her till they were almost ontop of her and then there was nothing she could do but just when it seems like the guards would have her two figures repelled they're attacks one with a sword and a large brown mustash and another with a spear and a green dress at first Hikaru didn't know who it was until they turnned and greeted her "Hiya Hikaru i see you could use some help"Phillipe says and turns to deflect another guard"Hello Hikaru you better keep your guard up these guards arn't acting like themselves you go help that dragon we've got it from here"bertril says and turns to deflect another guard

Hikaru nods glad that her friends had come to help she then holds her hands out and closes her eyes for a moment two balls of crystal clear water which glowed slightly formed infront of her hands she then grabs them and opens her eyes "here drink this if you get hurt it will heal you or if you get introuble throw the ball on the ground and it will turn into a water barrier and protect you"Hikaru says as she hands Bertril and Phillipe a ball of water they both thank her and return to deflecting the guards

Now that Hikaru knew her friends would at least be sort of safe she turned and ran to the staircase hopeing to help the dragon vanquish the evil

Gold underbelly scales slithered over the stone steps up to the church doorway. The red and gold basilisk lingered in the shadows by the open doors watching the chaotic fighting inside.

"Too much fighting. We should never have come to this," whispered her other self.

"To birth new life, you must have death." said Errdii.

"You're sounding rather philosophical. That's not like you."

"Then I must be more like myself." The basilisk watched a guard crumple to the floor. "And that should do nicely." It was inevitable with the dragon clawing over everything in his path on the upper level, including the archers, that an arrow meant for him would not find it's mark. Instead the deadly missile flew past him, sailed over the railing and buried itself into the flesh of a guard on the lower level.

"Is it too much to hope that you've changed your ways and you plan to help the poor soul pass to the afterlife?."

"Come, come now. Of what benefit would that be to me?" said Errdii.

"This man isn't mortally wounded though."

"Yesssss. Isn't it delightful." Errdii slithered up against the side of the unconscious guard. "He's so warm and he'll stay warm as long as he lives."

"Nooo, you mustn't! her other self hissed back." "You know the living don't like your cold touch!"

"This one isn't of a mind to object at the moment," replied Errdii, amusement in her voice. "And you know where the warmest part of the human body is?"

Her other self gasped. There were no words to express her horror at what she knew her self was going to do.

The basilisk slithered her scaly body over the belly of the prone guard and slipped quietly between his legs. With a smile on her face, she curled her serpentine body over his codpiece. Her dainty hands idly played with strings.

The ghostling you are trying for... User Image

The ghostling drifted away from the pieces of marble pillar that lay on the floor around it. There seemed to be some excitement going on but nothing it understood.

"Can I play too?" it asked as he glanced around at the people and other ghostlings. It looks like a fun game at least in its child mind it did.

Valkon continued to climb upwards smashing the windows to keep chasing the bishop to the top. The man was not halting at all or even trying to head back down the stairs. What he thought he was going to do at the top, Valkon did not know, but he was not getting away from him.

Just as the mayor had been punished by his removal, so too was the Bishop going to be.

The bishop stopped at the garden on the spire. Out of breath as he made the top step. He glanced around for a way out. There had to be something he could do. He could always fall back on what he was, but he had not wanted to reveal that yet. Not until he had accomplished all his plans. By then it would have been too late.

Growling under his breath he scowled thinking about the dragon's interference. He was a legend, a god and not something to deal with lightly. Perhaps there was something he could do here that would affect the dragon in some way that could cause the advantage to shift to his side.

Valkon clambered up the side of the spire. The crystal above their heads, glowed and he slammed against it with his foot. The stone shattered scattering like glitter as the pieces dropped to the ground far below.

"It will do you no good, Bishop. No good at all. Your punishment will be forthcoming." Valkon smirked. His tail swiped the gardens away with a quick movement. He wanted to see the man clearly and nothing would hinder him.

The bishop stared for a moment. No others were up here so why not use it? A sly smirk crossed his face.

"Do you really think you are the only one with power? There are others just as strong if not stronger than you think you are." The bishop shoved hair from his eyes with a disdainful gesture of his hand. The gems on his fingers caught the light for a moment showing their richness.

"Let me show you what I could not reveal there." he taunted. "Shall I?"

Valkon's eyes narrowed slightly. "As if it will do you any good."

The bishop's face twitched as a bit of anger flared through, but then he tossed his head. "This is who I really am." His shape unsolidified a bit a mist rising around him. The black and red was coiling almost the way a serpent or even tentacles did. His eyes changed from blue to red with deep black depths in them. His hair went from black to white, but the most interesting part was that he was semi-transparent and his piety was entirely gone.

The Bishop watched the dragon. There was no surprise there. Why?

Valkon simply watched, his lips twitching upwards. Then he laughed, but not once did his eyes leave the bishop. This had just gotten dangerous. "So you are finally going to reveal yourself. Did you really think I did not know? I've had others here for weeks finding things out. It's how I knew where the guards were going to be. Where to do the most damage the quickest. And where the problem in this city really came from."

"Just because you are a legend does not mean I will take it easy on you. In fact, it will be worse because you are so." His voice was deadly serious as his tail twitched. Valkon's eyes never moved from the other. "When I am done with you, you will understand you are on the wrong side."

Once again Watcher appeared high above the city to watch more of the events unfold. Despite his distance from he could still see what was going on atop the spire with great clarity. A true watcher could see through even the thickest walls should he choose. In fact he had been watching the other ghostlings that had been drawn into this mess created by the corrupt individuals as well. Perhaps at some point he should meet them personally should they make it out intact.

His eye brightened. His main focus returned to the top of the tower. Oh how far the bishop had fallen. Once so famous and now on the brink of destruction. The Watcher lifted a hand than made a fist..

In the center of the room atop spire black fog would bubble up as if it were a small fountain. A black Obsidian sword rose from the center of the 'fountain'. The hilt was decorated to look like the tail of a black dragon that winded around the grip, into the grip groove, to the blade. The quillion was formed my the great and sleek wings of the dragon curving outward as if in flight. The horned head of the dragon rest on the blade. His ruby cut eyes blazing with a lust of blood. Even the blade on this sword looked to be made of Obsidian. It's sleek surface shining brightly daring anyone to approach and take it up. One thing was certain, the sword gave off the aura of being enchanted, and that was quite correct.

Watcher than lowered his hand slowly to watch more of the events unfold. Hopefully his gift should find it's way into the right hands.

Quote:
-This sword will choose it's master by whom it deems worthy. In order to keep it, and use it without it vanishing and returning to the fog pool you have to have the right aura about you. AKA you have to randomize the right numbers. So between 1 and 222 you have to produce either the number 2, 22, or 222 to be able to keep the sword. You have only one roll during you next post to try, after everyone has tried it will vanish and become a random occurrence once again. Good luck!-

Valkon saw the sword when it appeared. It was to one side of the bishop and he was sure the legend saw it, but the expression in his eyes was strange. Was it fear that he saw there?

Valkon's eyes narrowed in scrutiny of both the bishop and the weapon. It was exquisitely made and he wanted it. Not just because it was beautiful, but also because the bishop was afraid of it.

Moving slightly, he reached out for it. Would he be able to grasp it or not? All he could do was try.

As Maybelle was running around she saw a sword that ooze with power. She saw that the sword didn't choose the dragon. Maybelle took up the courage and went to it. Hoping to use it to protect the dragon, if the sword will take her.

The goddess looked at Maybelle from afar. She smirked. "Does she really think she can pull that sword out?"

Valkon warily watched the bishop as they moved around one another. The bishop made the first move sending out a bolt of energy. He entirely missed Valkon which caused the dragon to smirk even more as his tail lashed back clipping the ghostling's arm. Valkon got first hit . Arthurs snarled as he moved forwards close enough that he was sure he could find a way injjure the other and perhaps drive him away. Of course he was sure that was going to do no good at all. Valkon had not been deterred by anything the city had tossed at him yet.

Back and forth the bishop and Valkon tossed hits. Nothing life threatening and all minor. It barely affected either one. Several times they even missed one another as they continued to circle around the top of the spire. The other ghostling trying for the sword was forgotten as they continued to wound one another. Valkon made certain that he always stayed between the bishop and the blade. If the other legend got it, he had no doubts it would hurt him as much as the bishop.

Back and forth they constantly moved, Valkon taking a hit to the side or arm, even the tail. He would retaliate testing the bishop's defences, using claws or tail. Once he even snapped at his head, but missed as the legend jumped backwards to avoid. His teeth in this form were as menacing as the rest of him and they gleamed as if waiting to bite off the bishop's head.

Valkon was careful not to injure the other ghostling. He might need the help at some point, but he knew the younger ghostling could not stand up to the legend alone or for very long. Others would be needed. And she seemed to be unable to use the sword as much as he was. His attention drifted to the younger trying to see where she was when the bishop hit him slicing into Valkon's shoulder.

Ghostlings did not bleed, but they could leak energy and both he and the bishop were doing so. In small ways. He roared loudly as it stung, lashing out at the pillar beside the bishop. Marble cam tumbling down and even though the legend jumped to the side, a portion hit him a glancing blow. The stone crumbled, tumbling over the side of the building. Hitting a statue here and there, it took a good portion of the elaborate decorative stone statues with it.

"Too bad that was not you." Valkon smirked as the bishop missed him again. "You really should get glasses. You seem to miss me more than hit me." He taunted the other legend as he moved around him.

The bishop lashed out hitting Valkon with a bolt of energy that stung his jaw. In return the dragon slashed out in a wide swipe with claws fully extended. He hit the bishop a good solid slam ripping across his body. The clothing shredded in the front as the bishop whirled missing Valkon. Valkon never stopped, his other claw ripping across the bishop again. As he staggered backwards, the legend found himself up against the blade. Reaching out he pulled it from where it was. Turning as Valkon caught sight of it, the bishop shoved it fowards giving it an extra twist when he knew he had connected.

The blade slammed into Valkon's shoulder causing him to howl in pain, jerking backwards. he winced as a light blue and violet ooze began to leak from his shoulder. Gasping he slammed his tail down knocking the bishop away and wrenching the blade from his grasp. the weapon glowed sticking out from his shoulder and he reached upwards to pull it free. The blade shined with a darkness to it as he held it to the side. Suddenly he seemed very tired. What had the sword done to him? Was this why the bishop had fear in his eyes when he saw it? Valkon simply stared at it. He was not afraid of it so much as the bishop using it. Whatever lay within had yet to be unlocked, but it looked like a toothpick in his claw. The yokai had no clue what was hidden in the blade but he was certain it was there.

"It's all over now," the bishop smirked. "Injured as you are, you will only get weaker and weaker. I win."

"Nothing of the kind," Valkon snarled, his eyes furious as he renewed his attention on the other. "We will win in the end. I don't care what you think you have done. If we can bring ourselves back from the place Kita tossed us, then we can stop you and whatever power you think you have. I won't let it be otherwise." He did feel weaker but he still dug in and tried to find the strength to continue this fight to its end. A shiver ran through him, but he shoved it aside. Now was no time to stop.

Even with the sword in his hand, Valkon was hit by the bishop. His reactions seemed to be a bit slower as he swung the blade at the legend. He missed and growled as he took a bolt of energy causing him to step backwards. His tail came down smashing another pillar, but missed the bishop entirely as the stone roof in the center of the area, toppled backwards off the side of the building and down to the ground.

A smirk on his face as he avoided, the bishop saw that Valkon had left himself wide open. Gathering as much strength as he could in that quick instant, he slammed out at Valkon with as much as he had. The energy hit, spreading outwards, stinging as it went. The yokai gasped, stepping backwards and sitting down hard on the floor amidst the rubble. He tried to get to his feet, but surprisingly he noted he still held onto the sword. At least the bishop could not get his hands on that.

"You are done for." he smirked moving towards the dragon. "I'll finish it quick for you."

Dropping down between the bishop and Valkon, Touma simply watched the legend from behind his mask. Nothing was seen of his face and his wings twitched as they folded back. He looked entirely at ease even though he faced a larger, older, stronger enemy.

"So you think you can stop me, little ghostling? Don't make me laugh." the bishop gloated. "If he cannot, what can you do?"

Touma never reacted, but remained silent as he gave Valkon the time to get himself together. This bishop was trouble and if they did not end it now, he would be even more powerful later.

(( I did actually roll a series of dice for this fight. It was entirely random based on 5 1d20 dice. Because of the bishop being the boss, he got the odd rolls and Valkon got the even. And because I know something none of you do yet, (a plot for laters... sorry guys... no details) the third hit of the bishop is a crit chance. If you need a number for the hps just so you see what is going on... Valkon's HP = 1000..... Bishop's HP = 1000..... when they started. At this point...

Valkon = 702 and there is a bleed effect on him that drops 27 every so often.
Bishop = 913

Maybelle stood in shock on what happen to Valkon. She rushed over to Valkon and stood near him. "What can I do to help?"

Out of nowhere....The Mayor, The judge and Gya come out of nowhere. They were defending Valkon. "We have to help."

Then the fox lore came out of nowhere with another unknown ghostling trailing behind him. Maybelle can sense that this ghostling was....important and help some power to her.

She knelt down next to Valkon. "My powers are limited but is there any herbs that I can harvest that my heal you?"

Maybelle eyes widen when she realized who it was..."Demeter..."
