He looked at her a little confused why was she saying sorry, he didn't notice it from the beginning that it upset her. He sighed before pulling back and looking at her, shaking his head again. "Itss's not your fault, don't sssay sssorry." He pawed at her again the past few weeks going through his head, there were all of those times that he noticed that shewas upset, how did he not realize that it was his fault?
He looked at her and nodded again. "I'll do whatever you want." He then paused and looked at her nodding. "And you can do whatever you want, I jussst ssstill want to be your friend." He then looked away for a moment. "I probably really upssset you, well... I know I did." He sighed then looked at her again. "I don't blame you for being mad at me." He paused then spoke again. "I messed up and I don't want to mess up again. I'm rambling" He laughed mostly at himself before shifting back on his haunches more, trying to get comfortable. He felt like there was butterflies in his stomach and he wasn't too sure why, everything was going on at once and he wasn't too sure of what to do aboutit.

She pulled back as well, staring up at him. "It's not only your fault either. We're both to blame, okay?" She suggested, giving him a weak smile as he pawed at her lightly. She just wanted to hide in his shoulder again, but he had moved away, so maybe he didn't want her that close. She shifted back a little, just in case she was being too clingy - being too close to him.
She nodded, agreeing with what he said. "Okay." She wanted him to be as upset about her having a boyfriend, as she was about him having a girlfriend, but...he didn't seem to mind. Maybe she was just crazy, being so upset about Kirja.
"No matter what," she said quietly, "We're going to be friends. Even if I get stupid and get angry, or...upset-" she conceded that she was, in fact, upset about the whole thing "-you're always going to be my best friend, Quetza. I promise." She nodded. She smiled at him, wobbly and not as bright as when she was younger, but she was happy. She had Quetza back, and even if she felt bad about it, Kirja was out of the picture and it was just them again. She had her best friend back and that painful feeling in her chest had melted away to a warm feeling that made her feel happy, for the first time in days.

Quetza looked up at the lioness then nodded quietly, he was glad that they were going to share the blame even thought he still didn't agree to the idea of it being her fault she was pretty sure that it was his fault but that was better then her taking all of the blame that was for sure. He flicked his tail around before speaking again "Thank you." He said simply he was hoping that she understood his thank you, he was glad that they could share the blame.
Quetza nodded before moving closer to her and then nuzzling her and smiling before flicking his hair out of his eyes. then nodded in agreement to what she was saying. "We're alwaysss going to be friendsss?" He laughed quietly with his question, he was pretty sure that they would be and he was glad that she said that. "You're alwaysss going to be my bessst friend." He smiled again as he flopped back on his haunches this was making him pretty happy, he was happy, he was glad that his friend wasn't mad at him anymore, he wasn't liking the idea that she was. It was really starting to bother her.

Dunia gave him a small smile, which blossomed into a larger grin, feeling her cheeks heat beneath her fur as he moved closer and nuzzled her. "Forever and ever," she agreed, sounding childish but happy. She hated her time without Quetza, everything was boring and she felt so lonely without him to hang out with in her spare time. She never wanted to lose him again. Especially not because of some girl.
But...Quetza was going to get a mate some day, she realised with a heavy feeling in her stomach, and Dunia was just going to have to deal with that. She couldn't - and she wouldn't - lose her best friend because of a girl, not again.
She was determined, and smiled warmly at him, flopping down next to him. "So tell me," she encouraged, trying to get back some of that 'old ease' that their former meetings had. "What have you been up to without me around to keep you out of trouble?" She joked, smiling at him and hoping he would try to put this 'drama' behind them too.

Quezta, too, felt a little more at ease as the lioness said forever and ever. That means that they were going to be friends for a long time. He was thinking pretty much the same thing that she was. She was going to settle with some one else and he wasn't too sure how that was going to work out with his best friend. Were they reallyalways going to be best friends? He was hoping so, she gave him this joy hat he cound't explain and he really wasn't sure where it came from.
He smiled at her before chuckling slightly shrugging at the idea. "Not much really. I wassss helping my mom out for a little shile you know like hunting and sssstuff but other wissse I've really jusssst been running around and thingsss like that. She grinned and then flicked his hair out of his eyes then turned toward her with a smile then licked her cheek. "What about you?" He asked really curiously wondering what she was doing herself.

Dunia thought her cheeks would start to hurt from smiling so much when he licked her cheek, making her flush beneath her pelt. "Sounds fun," she told him, though it sounded rather uninteresting still. Not that her life had been much more exciting either.
"I helped mother out hunting a lot, and got in a lot of extra practice," she admitted, wondering if he would notice that she had voluntarily gotten more practice, rather then being forced like she had told him she 'had' to help her mother, rather then she chose to. "It was interesting, but boring compared to spending time with you," she admitted, glancing down at her paws, before back up at him, her smile open and warm.

Quetza paused and then looked at the lioness and shook his head a few times. "It isssn't that bad," he chuckled one again before nodding at her. "It wasss fun but I've had more fun." He was going to finish his sentence by saying 'with you'. But he wasn't sure if that would be right, he wasn't sure if it would be but he really wanted to at the same time. He paused for another moment before looking at her as she talked. "Hunting can be fun some times." He admitted with a smile and then a small laugh added to it.
He then turned to her and grinned to her before flicking he flicked his hair out of his eyes. then looked at her with a large smile on his face and then looked down at his paws. "I agree." He said simply before meeting eyes with her and then smiling slightly once again. This was very true he was hoping that she agreed with him.

Dunia smiled and nodded, before brightening. "You should come hunting with me and mother some time," she suggested, before amending, "or just us. You could help me dig and I know you're smart enough know which rocks to grab and which to leave behind." It would be fun, and she would get to share some of her life with him, as hunting took up a lot of her time, more hen most other things in her life did.
She smile and nudged him affectionately. She had missed him and he had missed her. It was obvious that they shouldn't separated again and she really hoped they wouldn't. she didn't want to lose her Best Friend again. She lent against him slightly, more of a constant lean then just a nudge, though she would be easy to shrug off.

He smiled and nudged him back. All of this was making him very happy, he wasn't too sure why he wanted was enjoying it so much but e really was. It was nice and he felt really comforted he felt like everything that was going on before was starting to stop and everything was going to be back to normal. He liked normal, it was a very happy feeling and it made him very happy and it made him comfortable. He smield at the lioness once more before hopping on her feet and flicking her tail around happily.
"You know!" He chuckled again before batting a paw at her playfully. "Letsss go dig now!" He laughed before he started to trot away some. "I haven't gotten my pawsss dirty in a while." He commented thoughtfully before turning toward her again with a smile wide on his face. "Come on!"
