The answer to his question seemed off. She had just stated she was looking for a Caleb but now she was riddling him about what she really meant or did not mean. He lifted his hand to the back of his head and scratched in confusion at the girl. She looked pretty cute with her hands on her hips though. Girls usually were cute when they were mad. When he caught her looking at him again, it seemed as though she was just messing with him as she made a laugh to prove that theory.
"Don't worry about it. I'm used to having girls flip out on me," he joked.

"Okie dokie!" She said in response, "Can I sit here?" she said in reference to the free spot on the bench beside him as she plopped down, not waiting for an answer. "So are you new here? I've never seen you around here before. Then again I don't really get out much except for going to festivals, but most everyone goes to the festivals so I think I would have at least seen you there before if you've been living here for awhile..." she rambled. "I guess that was dumb question." she finally decided.

She had asked to sit with him but before he could even say yes, she seated herself. Cade brushed it off and ignored it, not like it really mattered. He rambling was making him lose focus of the conversation, but he did try to stay in. When she finished by feeling embarrassed, he spoke up.
"Yeah, I'm new here. I live with my two sisters. No parents." He gave her a soft smile to show that it didn't bother him living like that. "How long have you lived here?"

"No parents?" Usagi asked. That probably wasn't something she should be questioning him about but she was pretty nosey. Her attention was soon turned to his next question though, "I've only lived here for a little over a year," she told him.

"No. No parents."
He wasn't close enough to this stranger to even begin to allow her to know his private life problems. There was no need for it when he could probably score a one nighter. She wasn't new sadly. Which meant that she probably wasn't all that dumb when it came to guys. Wouldn't hurt to try anyways.
"That's not all that long then. How about I take you out sometime? Become my first uh. . friend."

She was still a bit curious about his no parents situation but she decided it might be rude to ask about it, especially since she didn't really know him. "No not really," she agreed with him, it really wasn't all that long. She would be leaving soon though, but it wasn't like he needed to know that. Then he asked if he could take her out sometime. It was like she could never have a conversation with a guy without getting flustered. It wasn't too bad this time though, just a slight blush. She wasn't quite sure what to say in reply though, she didn't want a repeat of the last time a stranger asked her to go somewhere. "Maybe sometime if I'm not busy," she decided to tell him. It wasn't like she was ever busy anyway but he didn't need to know that.

He cocked his eyebrow when she declined his offer. Cadeon wasn't exactly used to being shut down from a girl. Which brought up a little interest in him, but not too much. He looked up to see the clear glass doors of the museum to see that it was pouring rain outside.
"Holy crap. I don't think I've seen a storm that bad. .How the hell am I gonna get home?"

Usagi hadn't noticed that it had even began to rain until she heard Cadeon's remark. By that time, it was more than just a little bit of rain, though. She looked followed his gaze to the museums doors and bit her lip, "That's an excellent question," she agreed, still staring out the doors.

"I guess we're stuck here with . . these people, and me."
Cade looked around the museum at the boring classy people and finally realized that this girl could be his only form of entertainment until the storm lets up enough for him to get home in. Unless he'd rather risk that and go anyways. . Nah, better not.
"So, how old are you? Got a job?"
Small talk. That wasn't bad when two are stuck inside a boring place as a hurricane is causing havoc outside.

 ~Summing up Matt/Tess~
It didn't take long for the bartender and trucker to bore of making fun of the art. However, before they could leave to try and find that coffee shop again, a hurricane had left them inside the building. Both weren't really willing to brave a storm like that, so they had went to hanging out in a corner and chatting their way out of annoyance. Chatting eventually lead to flirting, which then brought them finding a convenient supply closet to mess around in until the storm had let up. Well, they both were bored and obviously attracted to eachother – what can one expect? It's not like they did anything outside of making out and touching, until a passing NPC had announced that the weather was clear again. Apparently, they weren't the only ones trapped inside a boring museum. And, so, they left the museum to go back and continue their date.

Seeing that he weather cleared up, he was happy to leave. Of course he wasn't going to be rude about it and leave without giving the girl his number before he left. She had scribbled it down an a pamphlet from the museum using one of their pens and bid her farewell. Once he set out the door, his doom awaited him. . Cadeon walked down the long winding street away from the museum trying to get home just in case the storm might try and come back. He never made it home though. .

"Bye now!" Usagi exclaimed to Cadeon as he left. She wondered around the museum a bit, looking at the artwork that it contained before finally deciding to leave. While it hadn't been the most exciting day of her life she was happy that she actually got out and did something. -Exit Usagi-

Walter was idly half staring at a museum piece as he waited for Kade to join him. He had invited the male out on a little date, something they haven't done in awhile due to schedule conflicts. Something the Brit felt rather guilty for. He needed to make more time for his lovely drag crush. Hopefully he would get here soon, either as Kade or Katherine. Honestly it didn't matter to Walter, they were one in the same. Walter did like the odd ones, if he recalled correctly his main fancy was his men acting like women and his women like men. Why he didn't know or care really. Smirking darkly at that thought Walter looked down to the box he had in his one hand. It was a present, an adorable stuffed animal of course. One of those..what was it.. build a bears? All dressed up in a cute little outfit. And in his other hand some flowers, while he didn't usually give such presents unless on the correct occasion, Walter was taking a lesson from Pip. He hadn't seen Kade in awhile so some buttering up would have to do in the form of presents. Not that the presents really made up for lost time, but it was a start. Today Walter was wearing one of his darker suits, ebony suit coat and slacks with matching fingerless gloves, tie and shoes. But his shirt underneath was a purple and pink pinstripe pattern. Turning his violet eyes to the entrance that he was only a foot from, Walter kept an eye out for Kade. when the male did arrive Walter greeted him with a dark smile and a light bow. "Evening. I know these dont make up for lost time, but i got these for you." Walter said to Kade as he presented the present and flowers to Kade.

Procrastinating. Kade had never really understood people who could do such a thing, really. To him, it made no sense! They should just go out and do it right then and not because of some schedule, but for the idea of getting out. Even mundane tasks held a fun and adventure to them – people he could meet, things he could see, and just all the little fun that would make his day all that much better. Keeping himself busy was just what Kade did – but a few years of therapy had taught him that that was just him procrastinating on the real things. Like how his long term boyfriend was probably cheating on him with his best friend or how his friends weren't really his friends, just people. It was almost amazing to the extents he went to postpone really thinking, even more to him that he hadn't learned any better in that department. It had been, what, almost a year since he told himself he would talk to Walter? A year and, heck, he didn't even do it! Walter had to! Though, it should be worrisome it took so long for the other to do it, but he had no room to criticize, did he? He did enough of that already, anyway. The man stood outside the museum, a place that only Walter would choose to have a 'reunion date' at. Museums never held any interest to the hairdresser, unless they were.. actually, no, nothing about a museum was fun. But, he didn't complain as he walked into the quiet building, frowning at the smell of just generally old stuff and cleaning supplies. This place could really use a potpourri or a candle.. Then again, a candle would just make it creepy, wouldn't it? Flowers could work! Oh, the things he would do to the building~ Like get rid of the weird and creepy looking painting over there – who cared about it's significance to the island's culture? It was so gross!
...He was avoiding the situation again, wasn't he? Oh, he hated that! He frowned slightly at himself and turned his eyes to the – oh. Walter. He was already here. He swapped his frown for a smile, albeit slight and not the most sincere. He was anxious and he swore to everything he wanted nothing more than to run out that door when he saw the taller male. But, he wasn't going to. Nope. This had to be done or else how would he be any better than – “Walter!” He said loud enough for the echoes to reverberate against the walls of the near-empty building – oh, God, scary. He just needed the lights to go out and a ghostly wail to make him have a whole other reason to run out. He walked forward towards the man, a small sting at the sight of the flowers and teddy bear. Normally, this would have had him squealing and twirling about excitedly, but.. “Awe, thanks, sweetie!” ..was all he could muster as he took the bouquet and, even more hesitantly, took the flowers. “Did you get these for me? I haven't had a teddybear in.. like, forever.” He commented slowly as he studied it – so cute~ But, did it bring up bad memories or what?
