Ari smiled into Kaito's eyes, feeling a kind of acceptance in his voice that he hadn't heard in a very long time. It sounded like a friend that he'd had all along and just didn't know it yet. It sounded like someone who didn't care about his past as long as he lived for the future. It sounded like family. "So this is what being in a pride is like," he said softly, feeling the rough pawpads of his new friend brushing against his fur. He lifted his own large paw and placed it on Kaito's shoulder blade. It looked like a ceremony, but it felt like something even better. "It had been such a long time, I'd forgotten." Ari nodded, warmth spreading through his body as he rekindled an old familiarity. "And maybe I will find a love like you have someday," he said with a chuckle. "But first I should find my little serval friend." He lowered his paw again and smiled widely. "It was so great to meet you, Kaito. So great to find a pride - no - a family again."

Kaito was greatly honored by Ari's words, it was so comforting to know he coudl help someone in need. Such a wonderful feeling indeed. He sighs softly and let's his paw fall as well. "Happy hunting Ari, and welcome to the family!" Kaito took that as his time to leave and let Ari be, and did so. Now was his time to find his mate. Get to find out what she ahd learned in the day.
