It was hard to say what he was there. Especially after Truth or Dare, Livi wasn't much in any mood to get into any more trouble than he had already gotten to. Typically... but he had to take Luka for his daily walk or else the tiny foxsquirrel caused all sorts of trouble in his room and he hadn't wanted that either. The fog had thrown him off; confused him and made him edgy for some unknown reason; but Luka was overjoyed with it and had romped all over the place, yapping and howling. Thankfully, he had made enough noise for Livi and Enma to keep track of him...
Until he had gotten silent. They knew he was still there, as he was tugging on his leash still but the poor thing was shivering. What was... it was then the demon heard the footsteps and the odd sounds. Where in Jack's name were there? A glance back showed that they had wandered a bit too far from the campus as usual... maybe around Brek's Shed... part of him wanted to turn back, but tonight was an odd night of nights and instead of heading back to his dorm room, he wanted to find out what was freaking out Luka...
The principle of it all and stuff.

She hadn't planned on going outside this eve. She hadn't planned on doing anything but curling up on her pillows and sleeping. But as she had roamed the halls, her gaze kept being drawn towards the grounds. With a groan, the she-wolf had finally stepped outside and felt a curious nagging. Something was off this evening. And...wait. Was there a mist floating in a haunting way? Curious as her nature was, LW moved along the school grounds towards the shed. Her footsteps were light and her nose twitched as she began to pick up familiar scents of fellow students, including her dear gryphon friend. Well, if he was out here then it had to be something interesting right?.
What the Jack?
Noises reached her ears as the she-wolf prowled, but she was very confused as to what this mist was. And why it was here. A voice to her side made the she-wolf jump as she realized her silent prowling had caused her to all but sneak up on another student without realizing it. LW turned and made out the form of a ghoul she'd seen before. To Junko, "Hey!" She tried her best not to scare the ghoul. "Do you have any idea what is going on?"

Natalia approached like the rest of them, hands laced together behind her back and bouncing lightly with every step...okay maybe not like the rest of them, but her walk was just as curious. The fog was thick and eerily so this particular night, leaving very little in visible range but leaving plenty up to the imagination. In the distance she could make out voices as feint as a slow-blowing wind...but, there were other things mingled with them. Had she heard a moan?
The groan, moan--whatever faded into the backdrop, leaving student voices much louder and in its wake. Several paces before her she could make out the top of a building, not too high off the ground to be a home or anything like that, but rickety and tiled much like...
Brek's shed. Oh jack no, not Brek's shed, the place where the hounds lived. Natalia paused for a moment, taking one step back with her hands now pressed to her chest lightly. But, what was that? The voices surrounded the shed, and after a moment she could make out several silhouettes snooping about. One boil stood prominent in her sights, perhaps a newcomer to the escapade like herself. Taking several more steps forward, eyes darting this way and that to ensure her safety, Natalia reached over and tapped Livi on the shoulder before edging back.
"Hey, do you know what's going on?" Then, having heard a familiar voice, the ghoul searched around for LW as well. "Hon?" She thrummed, tapping her chin lightly.

The tap made him tense a bit, fearing it to be Hellma or Red (Jack Forbid!) but once the ghoul began to speak, he recalled the voice. The name, he wasn't too sure of, but he glanced back at her and smiled faintly. "Not really. I guess we're not the only ones to hear strange footsteps and noises, I take it. I was walking my pet when we took note of it... I think the others are looking around more than anything else." As long as no trouble came to them, he didn't mind helping out really.

Natalia nodded her head, shivering a bit from fright before drawing her tail toward her chest and clutching on to it. It was one of the boils from Truth or Dare, which was reassuring. Nibbling her lower lip for a moment the werelemur proceeded to take a step past Livi, and then to turn around and face him.
"My name is Natalia, by the by, I'm not sure if you caught it during the game. I know I didn't catch yours." Tilting her head, she gave the left side of her a quick glance before continuing. "I'm not one to shy away from risks and what-have-you but this is going to get a little excessive; getting in trouble every other night, that is." Chuckling, Natalia gripped her tail a bit harder when a twig cracked beneath a heavy foot. Must be a student...but still, never a bad idea to keep your guard up.

Something was wrong. That much was obvious; Luce had started whining half an hour ago, pacing around Malodore's room and pausing to stare out the window or scratch at the door. Finally, the plague doctor had gotten its hat and clipped Luce to her leash. "Just a quick walk, and then bedtime," it warned her.
Luce had other ideas. She fairly dragged Malodore to the other end of campus, straining at the end of her leash. And the closer they got... the stranger things got. A creepy fog was curling around the campus, and pretty soon Malodore could hear what had set Luce off - an eldritch echoing hum.
Luce ended up in front of Breck's shed, whining and scratching at the walls; she apparently wasn't afraid of the traps. "Are you worried about your family?" Malodore said, quietly.
Luce whined again.

The strange mists and noises that sprung up around the campus had Jericho rather curious as to what the source was. Coming up and around Breck's shed, he stared towards the woods with a frown. This didn't seem right at all. He had heard that the portals to other lands were here which made him wonder if something had managed to breach through to Halloween.
Somewhere nearby he heard a soft whine of a dog. Not far off he could see the sillouettes of others in the area as well. They were a little further away than the source of the whine, so he went to investigate who was closer for now.
It didn't take long before he spotted something red amongst the fog, which turned out to be Malodore.
"Come to see what this fog is all about as well?" he asked the Plague Doctor, "Don't suppose you have any ideas do you?"

He had just been about to take a step forward when she did so and turned to face him, making him stop himself. Natalia... the name sounded familiar but it pleased him to put a face to the name. "A lovely name you have, Miss Natalia. I'm Livi." Feeling something at his leg, he bent down a bit and picked up his tiny, shivering foxsquirrel. "This is Luka. Typically, I don't like to shy away from things myself... but this is a bit unnerving. If you'd like, might I suggest we stick together? I highly doubt it's a good idea to wander alone during such fog and.." His brows jacked up at the sudden snap and he twitched a bit before he cleared his throat. "Yes, sticking together sounds good, yes?"
He wasn't afraid, persay, just bothered... yes, extremely bothered by all the mystery. "And agreed... I hope we don't get in trouble for this... I'm already not happy with a detention on my record." Though his parents, for sure, would be thrilled at it. Such things were a mark of pride for some envy demons.

Riley hadn't really been interested in the fog, until she realized that students were flocking to it like flies to a corpse. It was this that peaked her interest, and she'd only come out of her dorm to investigate after seeing quite a few other students walking around aimlessly in it. She walked out to the area, but stayed clear of the fog itself, unlike a few others. She crossed her arms in front of her and glared at the fog that engulfed the forests, looking very put out.
Well this is going to severely hinder hunting time. She grumbled out in an open thought.
A flash of purple zoomed past her, headed straight for the fog, before being engulfed within and disappearing entirely. Well, there went her hazmutt. She rolled her eyes at it's innocent stupidity, before inching closer to follow.

He'd come to seek vengeance on Breck and his shed. He'd come armed with a pot and wooden spoon. Armor and a weapon. But footprint. Students. Voices in thick mists. Things. Mists. He was curious by nature, and the idea of not knowing or being left out of the loop was all the distraction Israfel needed to skip his attack upon the shed this night.
His tiny demonic toterror peeked out from behind his hair, armed with a toothpick and thimble for a helmet. It too was curious. The fog was white and thick. White and thick like snow. Sure it's master wasn't so stupid.....As israfel stumbled over something in the mist the terror pouted. Yes, it's master just might be so stupid. Another adventure. The Siren would never learn. Israfel didn't notice his pet's pouting and glares. The red hat, combined with the voice of Jericho made the siren seek them out trough the fog."Hey guys, what 'cha doing?"

A smile grew on her face, one that matched the relief following Livi's remark. She would so prefer to stick with someone, anyone really, but it was especially nice to have a boil offer his presence. He could, potentially, act as the 'brawn' she needed in the event of another dog attack. Or the distraction--which ever it came down to.
"Livi, ahh yes now the bells are ringing." Freeing one hand from the tip of her tail and running it through fine, blue locks; Natalia continued, "Well I am glad to finally make your aquaintance." You know, it didn't hurt that the demon was extremely handsome to boot. The werelemur would have something lovely to look at as they willingly wandered into danger...or ran from it. Turning her attention to Luka, whom of which she had all but forgotten once Livi's physic was the thought on her mind, the ghoul extended her hand out for the little one to sniff.
"It would definitely benefit all of us to stick together, I'm sure." Her eyes never left the foxsquirrel's quaking frame, but she was well aware of her surroundings all the same. Students who had been several paces away were closer now and their voices loud enough to hear. This, as well as Livi's willingness to take Natalia into his care, (even if he didn't see it as such) was enough to drop the hairs of her neck.
"Don't be afraid little one, everything will be alright." Having such a soft spot for pets...or perhaps in an effort to impress the Envy Demon, Natalia spoke to Luka directly.

Kasumi had wandered to the shed again, hoping to maybe give it the old one-two out of frustration. She was a ghost! She should have been able to phase right through everything and get to the end and grab whatever prize there was. However, her wisp pet Horobi had locked onto other students instead, leading the ghost on a wild ghoul chase, running her right into some familiar faces. Malodore, LW, Miss Junko... and they all looked to be quite busy. She pursed her lips and wandered closer to the ghouls (and... boilish thing) she knew. "Ah, Mr. Malodore! What brings you and your little one out here? What's going on?"
Something seemed to be up, and she could see several students she didn't know the names of. Students weren't allowed out in the woods. The ghost twiddled her thumbs absently. "Is there... something happening?"

Gabrian had been on his way to Breck's shed, actually, very much intent on trying to sneak in, and as such, was currently trying to be as inconspicuous as possible while slithering through the grass that surrounded the place. There were several reasons he favored his serpent form when he went out to visit places like the shed; for one, despite how slow he was moving along the grass at the current moment... he could actually be rather fast in this form. The fact he had long teeth that provided a natural weapon was a plus, and then, there was the river; if he needed a swift escape, there was nothing better than slithering into the water and banishing from view. After all, there were very few things that dared follow him into the water, usually, and those that did were usually easily out-swam within moments. Alas, the mist was, without a doubt, something new. Or at least it wasn't something the nix demon had seen in his other excursions to the shed. Scowling slightly, the large, python sized serpent reared up off the ground took a moment to look around; maybe today wasn't the best of days to visit that jack-forsaken shed after all... Unfortunately, he was a stubborn boil and refused to give up, even with the strange, unknown humming sound in the near distance. So thus, on he slithered until noticed... were those voices? Blinking in disbelief, he reared up again, and squinted through the fog, his tongue slipping in and out to taste the air; there were scents he recognized. Now firmly abandoning his initial idea of raiding the shed, he advanced forward until he noticed LW, Junko, Livi and what seemed to be a lemur ghoul (he thought he recognised her from some class, but he couldn't be entirely sure). "I guesss today is not the best of daysss to be going inside the shed, is it?" he reared up languidly as he approached the group, still in serpent form, his gaze landing on LW briefly, and then shifting to the envy demon. Even though his form was different, his voice remain the same, "What is going on, exactly? I did not expect to find... any of you here. Or the fog," or the faint humming sounds, which were starting to really grate his nerve, "And what in Jack's name is that awful humming sound?" his ear fins lowered slightly, his tongue slipping out and back in several times.

The she-wolf felt jumpy out here now, not knowing what was going on and listening as other students started to show up as well. And...where was that humming sound coming from?! Her tail, which had been slowly swinging behind her, curled up and in a similar fashion to her fellow were, LW curled her fingers in the silky fur of her tail. Speaking of werelemur's, LW turned to glance around when she heard Natalia's familiar voice. Alright, so there was at least another person she knew exploring right now. This did nothing to ease her discomfort. Or her curiosity.
"Any clue...on what is going on?" LW called over towards the lemur and another student. He looked familiar...oh right! It was that one boil from class...Livi. She gave the boil a small wave as well, hoping he could see it. Oh this fog! It was annoying. And...whatever was making that humming.
Fingers gripping her tail slightly tighter, LW was not prepared for the sudden voice that popped up out of no where or the serpent head that rose from the ground. She choked (thankfully) on the scream that almost escaped. But that didn't stop the yelp or the fact she wound up sitting on her butt. Her tail was clutched tightly to her chest and she just stared, heart thumping and threatening to beat right out of her chest. Jackdamnit! Gabe had just scared the crap out of her!

It seemed natural to want to help out a ghoul; after all such things were ingrained into his head since birth, really. To not pay attention to someone who could need his assistance wasn't something to ignore. So her agreement to accompany him made him very pleased indeed. "Same here. I noticed how you were having fun at the last venture I saw you at... however, there simply wasn't enough time for us to properly meet. But the pleasure is definitely mine to have." She was a very good looking ghoul and her fashion style was keen. It was impressive to the boil who so loved his fashions.
When spoken to, Luka slowly lifted his head to sniff shyly at the hand before him. He wasn't familiar with this ghoul but seem had a pretty tail and seemed nice too! The kind way her voice spoke made him feel less nervous and he lightly licked her fingers as a way to say hi. "Typically, he likes to headbutt people he finds interesting, but he's feeling shy.. hopefully, once we know what's going on, he'll relax." That was the main reason why he was bothered. For Luka, his oft-times clueless pet, to be bothered concerned him.
When Gabe spoke up, his head tilted before he looked around. It was through this glancing that he noticed LW's wave and returned it, letting her know he had seen her. The sounds of slithering were easy to hear so it took him a second before he looked down and noticed the boil he knew pretty well. "No idea, I'm afraid, sir. But no today is not the best of days to test our mettle, I think. I was walking Luka and he ran off in this direction... until something spooked him and now he's scared. But now I want to know why... Humming? I do not hear any humming..."
