Night shook on the dog's back before snorting.
"Your ridiculous Tybalt." Night muttered, watching as the dog ran his hand through his hair before grinning, "Yes, Of course I am a ghost, so what? We have fears too!" Night pouted before sighing, "I'm trying to help you get over your fear remember? How else can I still be friends with you if your afraid of a little cat like myself? Rain is different. WATER is different." Night quieted, a long pause before he shifted off the dog. "Here I'll get off then and explain something to you." Night hissed as he stood in front of the dog in pouring down rain, huddling his body as close together. Terrified, and his eyes wide he stared at the dog before stuttering out what he wanted to say.
"I have nightmares you know," Night look away ashamed, "Of my past life. I feel abuse, and hate and all those bad feelings in them? But it's like it's all directed at me. I can see flashes." Night jumped at the sound of thunder as he spoke strangling a soft meow before he straightened again, "I can see flashes," He began again, "Of rain, and water. I can feel myself sinking down and the lost of breath." Night shuddered before shrugging, "I'm scared every time I wake up and when there is huge amount of water or rain or anything like that I automatically get scared." Night hissed as the big fat drops kept hitting him but he stood there with Tybalt. Shaking regardless, pretty sure that he was close to fainting from the stress of just facing his fear. Was this how Tybalt felt every time Night was near? Damn, Night though before shaking his head, he wasn't truly being a friend if he made his friend suffer like he did now.
"Don't worry about it then Tybalt." Night looked away shame faced, "I won't stalk just visit....sometimes."

Tybalt remained quiet throughout the entire explanation; watching the other boil's pained and frightened expression.
So this was why Night hated the rain. It seemed that water played a big role in his death. Which would explain why he was so jumpy and clingy right now. It would be cruel of him to leave him out in it any longer.
"You know. Your going to have to get over it at some point." He said. Not that he was one to speak. He, after all, refused to face his own fear. Realizing that, he sighed. "If you're that terrified of it, why not just wait it out inside? It's not like I'm going anywhere." He stated, not out of kindness or anything, ( Not intentionally at least ) it's was just... the way Night was currently treating him, it didn't feel like this friendship he was always going on about. It felt like he was babying him. The way he was acting was making him feel as though he was a pup that needed looking after and he didn't need looking after.
"Tch! That's a lie." He replied back. Though he said nothing in objection for him visiting. He felt that if he did, it would crush him. Even for a cat, it didn't feel right to do something like that.

Night continued to shudder in the rain as he finished his story, and watched the dog's expression. He could tell Tybalt had at least gotten his point of view and sighed in a shuddered relief. He just wanted to make sure that Tybalt understood his reasoning and in doing so, Tybalt would understand Night a little more. It was a dangerous play of physiology but whatever helped Tybalt and Night get closer well, that was all their was to it.
"Some point....Maybe I will." Night sighed, his body if it could, was curling closely into itself, the stress of the traumatic fear of water was causing the boy's humanoid body to start fainting a bit, little pieces of him we're slowly becoming transparent. "Oh well, I just wanted to make sure you'd be all right, your not afraid of rain or thunderstorms right? I thought maybe you'd've tried to face a fear or something." Night offered lamely, he had thought it was weird that Tybalt would sneak out in the rain but didn't want to say that he was only working on that lame assumption. Not that his reason he gave Tybalt wasn't lame enough.
"No no! I won't stalk you!" Night nodded his head vigorously, "I'll come by and drop treats and toys and such...OH and shiny things! and that will be it, it'll be like...every three days." Night nodded his head before he took a weak step towards the ghost dorms. "I think I am going to go inside before I change forms." Night whispered, looking over at Tybalt he smiled, "Thanks for the walk Pooch and the listen, but I think I have enticed your fear of cats a little too long. At least you were talking to me longer." Night winked before taking off at full speed to inside the dorms.

Tybalt snorted. "Why would I be scared of thunderstorms?" He asked, but rather than wait for an answer, he shook his head. "If anything, I'm attracted to them." He explained while crossing his arms over his chest. Noting that the black cat's form was fading in and out. Was he reverting back to his natural form or something? He hoped not! It was bad enough knowing that Night was a cat, it was worse seeing him in his actual form!
Thankfully before he could hastily shove him away, Night had already made the decision to go indoors. Obviously the rain was too much for him to stand any longer. Not that the black dog would complain. It was what he wanted after all.
"Yeah yeah." He replied, waving him off. Though he had his doubts about the black cat's words. Unfortunately, he didn't really know how to respond to Night's thanks. After all, he hadn't realized that he was tolerating him enough to speak to him until just now and wasn't that because he didn't really have a choice?
