Her heart sank further at her mother's protest to her agreement. However, she had a moment o elation as she saw Meykal enter the picture. She knew him only by description from her mother. Surely they'd all be safe now, right? He was after all one of the herd's protectors. She was sure now she and her mother could run from aid. However, she couldn't have anticipated their attacker's next move. She cried out in pain as he bit into her, tearing away at her flesh. She'd already been injured and now her bit into her. The pain caused her eyes to grow wide, tears beginning to form in them as she skittishly jerked from the cause of the pain. Admittedly it was a stupid move, but logic and pain often didn't go hand in hand.
Attack roll:
1: Tossing her head, she flailed to get free of his grasp. A scar was a small price to pay for freedom but this pain had to stop.
2: Rearing her head back, she took this opportunity to latch onto her assailant's ear. She'd been willing to go to keep everything moderately peaceful yet he attacked her all the same. (Minor- moderate damage)

She'd had a brief moment to be thankful that Meykal had heard her distress call. Seeing him charge into the other stallion had given her more hope that they'd all make it through this. However, her moment of gratitude had turned swiftly to a moment of dread as she watched the beast rip into her daughter's shoulder. Red blood stained snowy fur as it began to seep from the wound. Her motherly instincts hip top notch. This was her child in harms way. She may have been a full grown mare now but it didn't change that fact that she was being hurt. Ears flattened, she reared up pawing at the air before breaking into a charge. She was determined now more than she'd ever been.
Attack roll:
1: She stopped short,digging hind hooves in at the right time allowing her to spin and kick the kalona with her hind hooves. (Moderate-heavy damage.
2: She had aimed for the stallion but her momentum kept her moving past him as she'd tried to stop.
3: With Meyka now here she felt safe to leave and return with help.
4: Within a good distance, she stopped ant reared, pawing at the stallion with her hooves.

Meykal bared his teeth in a snarl as he bounced back from his attack. "If I am so unworthy, then prove it! Fight me, Kalona!" he barked and braced himself as Demon started for him, then gasped when he went for Briallan instead. The sudden change made him pause, but he was proud of the mare he'd not yet had a chance to properly meet when he saw her latch onto his ear. "Good girl," he thought as his peripheral vision caught Sho pawing at the stallion.
Attack Roll:
1. While Sho distracted him with her hooves, Meykal came up behind him and reared back, aiming for Demon's flank to hopefully bruise if not cut with the sides of his hooves. (Minor - Moderate)
2. While Sho distracted him with her hooves, Meykal came up behind him and reared back, aiming for Demon's flank to hopefully bruise if not cut with the sides of his hooves, but he misses and lands hard between Demon and Sho, the shock of the unexpected landing sending tremors up his legs and paralyzing him for a crucial moment.
3. As Sho pawed at him, Meykal came up behind Demon and closed his teeth tight around his tail and pulled as hard as he could. (Moderate - Heavy Moderate?)
4. Meykal snorted behind Demon. "You call me unworthy, but you're the one attacking mares! What kind of stallion backs down from another only to harm those that cannot defend themselves as easily?" he taunted, tail whipping back and forth. He hoped his taunt would break the other stallion away from the mares. It didn't matter if Meykal was hurt, the mares were more important to the herd, and if he was lucky, they would be able to find someone else to help.

Demon began to laugh, sure it hurt like hell having the pretty mare latch on to his ear but he was used to pain. "Is that the best you can do?" His voice taunted her as he laughed again; the sound nothing more than a menace mixed growl. He started to sway his tail from side to side, it knocked into his chains every now and then making them jingle and jangle. In his opinion the noise only added to the menacing atomosphere her presented, it often wondered how others believed he had come by them..... and imagination was a powerful thing, something he planned to used to his advantage.
After all, where was the fun in playing fair?
Demon allowed his grip on her Brillian's shoulder to loosen up as he wrapped a leg around her. A silent threat that he would happily trip her up should she try something 'stupid'. He then allowed his attention to waver to the other mare.... hooves banged and clashed into his side but it didn't really seem to hurt.... more like an annoying fly that just won't get out of your eye no matter how much you growl. Boring. Still, he reacted, swaying his tail in her direction in an effort to literally 'swat her away', after all, that was the treatment you gave you flies.
It was only at this point that he paid any attention to the Stallion. Words drifted to him yet his brain was so full of blood lust that he couldn't percieve them all. Demon was sure he heard the words 'unworthy' and 'mare' only guessing that they refered to him and his attack, then he heard 'harm' and 'cannot defend' which caused him to roll his eyes. In the laws of nature it didn't matter about such things. The weak died by the hooves, teeth and claws of the strong. It was natural selection. Plus, was it really his fault if they were allowed to remain unable to protect themselves? No kalona female would ever be allowed to grow up so weak.... it was survive or die.
He tutted and turned his head lazily to face the stallion. "And yet you can not protect them? Why not teach them? Why not better them? Or...." He licked his lips as his eyes narrowed but brightened with laughter and taunting amusement. "...is it that you like to be seen as bigger and better than they are? Is that how you get them to breed with you?" He chuckled at the notion, he could never imagine his sister Fathom submitting to the likes of such weakness.

Briallan tried as she might to think of how to get away from the kalona. He had her trapped still and the bite hadn't seemed to faze him any. " Let go!" She snapped at him again. She felt, trapped wounded and fight or flight.. was starting to seep further into her mind. She was trapped.. and her injuries didn't make flight capable.. A wild glint crept into her eye as she struggled yet again to get free.
She snorted her disapproval of the taunting. Meykal was a nice guy but in no way was he all that this kalona was trying to say. and she knew Meykal had a good heart. Her ears flattened against her head.
Attack roll for Sho:
1: She lashed out, teeth bares and aiming for the male's neck. She wanted to do all she could to get him away from Briallan enough so that she could get away. If it meant her down fall here and now so be it but here.. she wasn't about to just let him pack off with her child. (medium damage)
2: "Sience you slime.." She growled and flicked her tail.
3: Turning her hind to him, she kicked out, aiming for his head. She was determined to severely harm him now. here and now.. she was going to end this.
