'Interesting' would not be the word Atlas would use to describe the results of Iris's attack. Sure, it was few things ending in -ing: namely embarassing, terrifying, and horrifying. But, interesting? No. That was a word for more emotionally neutral situations than the one Atlas felt he was in right now. He was pretty much scared out of his wits, Iris' presence suddenly having become a great deal less assuring.

But she was an eternal senshi. That meant she could still handle this situation... right?

Iris' body slumped forward slightly the moment that rainbow had flown and completely missed the target. No matter how poorly the attack came out, it was always still a huge drain of energy.

There were no smart aleck remarks from the senshi of Rainbows. She was quite aware that her own attack was "interesting" to say the least. Even knowing that her eternal attack might have cost her this fight, she still smiled. In fact, as the Negaverse Lieutenant charged at her like a jouster, there was still that grin on her face. It was a good thing the cane was a cane and not a sword or pointy object.

Upon impact, the senshi doubled over, dropping to her knees, but catching herself from falling all the way down with one arm. For a moment, there was silence, but then she began to laugh slightly. "God, that was a good hit... now I know how one'a those pool balls feel..."

Certainly, Iris was a sitting duck right now. She was no fool when it came to fights. Her gold eyes turned to Atlas. Somehow, even knowing she was probably going to get beaten up pretty badly, she still had that grin on her face.

"Dude... grow yerself a set of balls, man... you f*ckin' destroyed a bridge, but ya can't fight some b*tch with a pimp cane?"

Turning away with a shake of the head, she then attempted to get back to her feet, pushing her body up slightly with her arms so her legs could get a holding again.

Mica could smell blood in the water. The only Senshi that had posed a threat thus far had seemingly exhausted herself with a useless attack, leaving her vulnerable. The only potential problem was the wimpy boy Senshi, and only if he decided to use his supposedly bridge-destroying attack. The best way to deal with such a variable? Eliminate it.

As for the jab about her pimp cane… well, this seemed like a good time to smack a b*tch with it. Twisting her shoulder to put momentum behind the swing, Mica whipped her cane at the head – her favored target – of the rainbow Senshi. If she could knock this broad down for just a minute, that wimpy Senshi's a** would be her’s.

Two senshi, one a Super and the other an Eternal, versus a Negaverse Lieutentant -- it really should have been easier. The girl with the cane should have been sent limping away by now. They should have gone their separate ways by now, or perhaps stopped somewhere to buy a coffee and catch up. Instead, they were losing. Mica was closing in on Sailor Iris. Atlas wasn't sure what he was supposed to do.

He'd only ever really fought youma, and avoided officers like the plague. He could count the times he had landed a hit on a Negaverser with one finger. It was pathetic. Atlas was sure of it, he was one of the least reliable senshi ever.

And then Iris reminded him about the bridge.

Sailor Atlas did not want to remember the bridge. It had been buried deep beneath other, less horrifying memories directly after that incident was over. The other senshi was not overexaggerating. He had literally destroyed a bridge, endangering half a dozen people in the process, all with a hand gesture and a short string of words. Nobody had gotten seriously injured -- however, his trust in his powers as a senshi had dwindled to near-nonexistence because of it.

He rarely used his attack. He really didn't want to have to use his attack, ever. But the Negaverser was closing in on his improptu partner for the evening. He had to do something.

"Iris --"

She was down. She couldn't get out of the way in time. Fortunately, Atlas had something resembling a plan, and he was so terrified about doing it that he felt like he was about to throw up. He did not want to move. It was a struggle to get his legs to detach themselves from the icy ground. Watching Sailor Iris take another hit from Mica while he stood and did nothing, however, ended up being scarier to him than the nebulous unknown that would take place if he took action.

Probably not the best motivation, but it was better nothing. And so, the senshi clumsily dashed forward -- skidding a bit on the ice -- and grabbed Iris by the arm, pulling her out of harm's way. Curiously enough, even to Atlas himself, he didn't make a further attempt to escape from their opponent.

There was a lot that happened as she was trying to get herself back to her feet. Stuff she didn't notice because she was too busy looking at the ground as she tried to get up. Yet when she suddenly felt her arm jerked back and her body sliding slightly due to the momentum, then the sudden loud crack of the cane against the ground in front of her, she knew something was up. Her eyes glanced to the side to find the other senshi next to her.

"Sh*t... maybe ya got some balls after all..." She offered a tired half smile before she looked ahead of her to see what had actually happened. The end of the cane was approximately where Iris had been moments ago. It wasn't very surprising, since this was a fight. Go after your opponent while they are down. It was why someone should never stay down in a fight. It wasn't like in the ring, where you'd be left alone. No, you were easy pickings if you stayed down.

"Ya wanna finish this up... or should I see if I can still muster somethin' up?" The fact she didn't have a definite something she could muster up was probably something to be concerned about. The blonde shifted her weight slightly, as if trying to get back to her feet another time.

Surprise, surprise, the wimpy Senshi could do something other the run away or stand around! An unfortunate turn of events, one that through a wrench in her hastily made plans. Surely the wimpy Senshi wouldn’t have drawn attention to himself by interfering if he didn’t have a plan. At least, that’s what Mica’s logic said.

“ Tch. Go back to standing around, why don’t ya’?”

Variables; Mica hated them. The boy certainly had her attention now, him and his variable-ness. She figured him the bigger threat, especially with feather-butt on the ropes. For a brief moment, Mica was tempted to flee – an attack that could destroy bridges would certainly hurt – but the chance for two Senshi starseeds was impossible to pass up.

“ Stand still and quiet-like and I’ll make it fast.”

Mica’s cane had cracked slightly towards the bottom, but that didn’t affect its usefulness as a club. She rushed forward fast as she could, hoping to beat him senseless before he could use his dirty magic.
