Mokovu tried hard to not laugh at the male, he seemed like the mud on his paws was truly a horror for him. It made Mokovu think on what annoys him, there were not many things. "I don't mind the feeling, I love snow or water around my paws though..." He said remembering when he was a cub and being in the mountains. The cold snow felt so much like home, and even memories of water surrounding him was reassuring. He missed those feelings. "Of course I will be nothing but respectful. What should I bring back to offer?" He asked as he looked around for something he could use to offer. He wanted to find something grand that would be an amazing offer, but what?

"Snow? Isn't that the cold and wet stuff, vanishes right before spring or sooner?" L'envoi laughed. "We don't get that down here very often. Rain for us usually, but sometimes it gets super cold."
The dark male considered his question carefully, a paw came up to rub against his jaw. "Welllllll, I depends on which one you go see. Each one has their own preference on items. However, a kill of some kind would make a good general offering. He or she will have the items needed for the loa's offering." He grinned.
"Say a couple good sized rabbits or a young gazelle?"

Mokovu nodded his head at the black male. It made him realize just how far he was from the mountains, he had to get closer. "Rain is quite nice too, I do however remember snow and water existing as one where I come from, but the water was always so warm...hmm" He said remembering the small details faintly from when he was a cub. "Hmm maybe I should get something big to make them very happy, like a water buck adult.." He said thinking hard. He had caught one before but not with ease, it could become very difficult but if it meant great advice and a lot of help it could just very well be worth the risk.

"I didn't know that was possible! How weird that sounds. Rain and snow as one?" He shook his head in musing. Something like that was beyond him to imagine. Just then a glint of light caught his attention. Quickly he pounced on the beetle. With it caught, L'envoi examined it carefully and then popped it into his bag.
"Well I've got enough beetles now. Surely an adult gazelle would do fine if you want something big." He watched Mokovu curiously to see what he'd do.

Mokovu too was as puzzled as the new male when he said it that way. However it wasn't rain but he couldn't quite remember what it was, maybe he was imagining something. "I don't quite think it was rain but i remember it being in the ground and in the air..." He said confused as he tried to pull out the old distant memories from his cubhood. He shook his head, it was no use he could never remember. "Indeed I will go hunting and meet you back here then?" He asked curiously if he would encounter the male again. He stifled a laugh as the male caught yet another beetle. He was planning on coming back here but he wondered if he would be met by another member who would hopefully escort him into the pride with kindness.

L'envoi beamed. This lion was taking his advice. "Surely. Don't be too long though. I have to get these beetles back." He sat down and curled his tail around his feet. Ready to wait until his new friend returned with the proffered offering.
