She kept her gaze on his form as he moved to stad, and nodded as he spoke the feeling that she had. Her paws were killing her, and just to think how bad it would be if they continued to run on the hard grounds around them. Letting out a thick sigh soon after, she glanced up to see the sun on the brink of setting, the skies color representing the flames their pride took after.
"Twas Ausha, right?" She asked soon after he spoke of his fitness, her eyes still on the sun set as her soft voice seemed more like a whisper than anything else. Suddenly, all signs in her eyes were gone, her emotionless mask coming up as she was finally able to collect herself from their little...'game'

Chomo finally caught his breath after their brisk runabout and noted the full magnitude of his weariness. It definately called for bedding down for the night, the only remedy for such pained paws. He momentarily followed Nuri's gaze to the firey sky and smiled, sunsets like that always boded well for the weather the next day.
"Yep, I all but raised him, in return he ran me weary." he waved a paw "Not a very fair trade, but there you go." Still, his tone wasn't condemning, he knew Ausha had been a good friend over that time.
Glancing over towards the concealed cave, he yawned and stated. "I don't know about yorself, but I'm tired out after all that. I might go bed down for the night."

Nuri watched Chomo as he turned towards the cave, and found herself mimicing his yawn. It suddenly became aware to her that she too was tired, and making way to stand, she stretched as well.
"I might as well go to sleep too, considering tomorrow we shall make it to the lands...and you dont want any fatuge there..." She than moved to nudge him off to the cave, "...are you ready?"

Chomo nodded "Yep, you never know what might be waiting for us there, sleep might be a help." he got to his feet from his sitting position and stretched in the typically feline manner, curling the tip of his tail before he, with the aid of Nuri's nudge, began on his way to the safety of the cavern.
It was always good to have somewhere out of the way to sleep, and the cool dark caves reminded him of the cliffs within the firekin lands, a sanctuary from the searing heat.
"I've never been more ready to head off to bed in my life." he grinned "I've made this journey before, but it's never once seemed quite so enjoyable and optimistic." Indeed, last time he felt he was heading to his doom, this time, he was just glad to be moving, doing something.

Nuri found herself pausing as he spoke this, and just watched as he disappeared from her view into the shadows, a sigh escaping her lips. Turning her head north, she looked out into the span that would lead them home, her whole being crying out for the perfection that this world seemed to be lacking.
"I just feel...something is going to go wrong..." she whispered to herself, before looking back to the cave and quickly padding in, it was time to get some rest for the long days ahead.
