"Hm?" Seth asked, looking away from the merchandise to the lady hurrying away in obvious fear of the little group that had decided to take up residence in the aisle for the time being. A sad expression came onto his face at the fear the lady expressed and the comment Phee gave him. "B-but... They's not scary," he replied softly, horribly upset by such news. Snakes weren't THAT scary so long as they were treated right and stuff, like you should with any animal.

"Yeesss, but some people can't get past their own fears. That's just how people are," Ily commented, dragging out the first word longer than it had to be. She noticed the inevitable tears that her brother was sure to shed soon unless things were turned around quickly or he was distracted with something else. "Didn't you say you needed some stuff for her? We should probably get them soon before we're kicked out for god knows what reason," she added, sighing with relief as Seth was successfully distracted.

"Hey Phee, what d'you want to look at while Seth gathers up his stuff? We can go see those puppies or maybe the kittens," Ily asked, turning to her friend with a tired smile. Sometimes Seth stretched her small amount of patience way too far for a kid as cute as he could be. "It'll be a while and I'd rather not ruin your day being dragged around by my brother," she added, looking at the naga one last time. He seemed pretty happy and content as he carefully browsed through the varying objects he'd need for Xandria.

Yeah, he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Ily pouted and crossed her arms. "Oh come on. Pick something. I don't care what animal we look at so long as it isn't parrots. I don't like them much," she replied, wondering why in hell Phoebe had to become suddenly shy NOW when she was asking her a question. Oblivious as always, not to mention she really didn't have a clue what she wanted to go look at.

Ily glanced around the store. The birds made her a little uneasy, being as tall as she was and all too aware of how closely her horns resembled perches. “Hm... What about the hamsters and gerbils? They’re always cute to watch run around,” Ily suggested, motioning to where the cages were. Of course, as soon as she said it, Seth happened to wander up behind her and tug on her shirt. “Huh? Yes Seth?”

“’M done. We is sleepy,” Seth commented with a yawn. Indeed, the snake was wrapped around him in a way that would ensure she’d remain in place. Besides that, the snake didn’t seem quite as interested in speaking or moving anymore. Not to mention the naga’s eyes were half shut and he was already swaying a little. “Alright. We want to look at some of the other animals for a bit. Why don’t you get all this stuff ringed up while you wait? And try not to fall asleep,” Ily replied, watching her brother move painfully slowly in the direction of the cash register. “I swear, by the time he gets there it’ll be next year. So, the gerbils?” the teen asked, looking back to Phee with a grin.
