*Its okay!, i get writers block like almost every day. DAMN ADHD!*
Seeing her get excited over the prospect of swimming, Braoin couldn't help but get excited as well. "Of course I do! What a brilliant idea!" Trotting over to the edge, he peered over. It was a decent sized drop from their vantage point. "We'll have to be careful to not go out too far, you never know what comes close to shore when it gets dark. I remember, a time or two, having a face-off with some scarey-looking mers and kelpies. Really territorial things..."
Braoin's eyes twinkled with delight. No one has ever wanted to swim with him before! He was really starting to feel glad he met this mare. What a delightful creature.
He flicked his tail in thought, trying to figure out the best way to get down.

(( god i know right lol i feel your pain . . .on a side note OMG OHHHH POOR MOAM!!! widdle heart break!!!))
She watched as he went to look for a way down. mers anf kelpies . . .he really is brave she thought with a smile she couldn't seem to wipe off her face . . .and she had a feeling it wasn't because of the swimming judging by the almost electric race she felt in her heart.
"Im sure i'll be fine as long as im with you." she said landing once more before starting to trot off toward a small trail that led down the side of the cliff.
"This way my father used to use this path since he couldn't fly like mother could. Come Ill walk with you since its more feel than sight and . . .well i know it by heart." she added tossing her head for him to fallow.

(He looks intimidating but in reality he's such a big softie, he'll find someone eventually i hope XD heart )
His eyes softened as he listened to her, a slow blush creeping onto his face once again. Wow... Was all he could think.
Putting on a dramatic face and vocal tone, he spoke, "Never fear! I shall protect you! The very sight of me can send kalona's running, and my voice can make skinwalkers quiver!" Okay, that's a lie.
Braoin quickened his pace to catch up to her. "Thankyou Reii. Five biscuits says I still manage to find a way to fall off." He chuckled to himself. Looking down at his footing, he stuck his tongue out, concentration on where he put his hoofs. It would be rather embarrassing to fall off in front of such a beautiful mare.

She laughed lightly less in a i doubt it way and in more of a just plain happy kind of way.
"I don't doubt it Kirin are said to be fierce fighters when the situation dictates." she said trotting along seemingly willy nilly but then she knew the path like the back of her hand
"Do try not to fall though . . .i can heal." she paused giving a shrug "but only a little bruises and cuts maybe if there not large or even on the big side of medium. No broken legs or anything in the mean time Positive thinking dose wonders. You will make it down just fine Im sure of it. oits just a bit further."

Braoin trotted along happily with her. There's not that many days he gets to have fun like he is now. "That is true, its just hard to get us into the situation where we become aggressive."
He watched her as she found her way along the path as if it were nothing. "You make this look so easy..." he trailed off as he stumbled a bit. Picking himself back up he tried to look as though nothing had happened, even though there was a little gash on his foreleg. You did not just do that clumsy... He chastised himself. "I take it you learned all the healing from your two-legger? I haven't seen mine in ages..."

"Oh no poet is quite knowledgeable but im afraid my limmited healing skills come from on unicorn blood on my fathers side. i had two brothers who were infinitely better healers but Im the only one that got the wings frim my mothers line. looking back i think i got the better of the deal" she smiled over her shoulder at him. "not much further now i love that smell it been so long since Ive been for a good dip kinda of afraid to go on my own seeing as how im soo accident prone it seems." she added

He chuckled softly, "Yeah, wings are definitely a better deal. Honestly, I'm quite jealous of you for that reason. I've always wanted to feel the freedom of flight..." He looked at her as she smiled back at him. Braoin would be lying if he said it wasn't adorable. "Good! Yeah, its probably best that you not go alone. However, I'm not sure how better of company I am. My body is as clumsy as my mind sometimes."

"Thats not true in fact im sure your just a tad to harsh on yourself Braion and . . ." she paused as they reached the base of the cliff
"If i could i would be your wings." she said gently giveing them a slight flitter at her sides.
Then suddenly dashed off for the waters edge zig zaging this way and that. kicking the sand up behind her. Her long braided tail flowing out behind her
"catch me if you can!" she called playfully fallowed by a boisterous giggle.

Braoin rushed after her, paws eating up the ground trying to catch up the quick mare. He tossed his head in delight, eyes shimmering at seeing the waters edge.
"It never seizes to amaze me how big it is!" He shouted towards her. The waves looked a little rough to be swimming, but seeing as both of them were adults they would probably do just fine.

She zinged and she caged zaged this way and that playfully akin the waters edge. Occasionally slowing down or speeding up depending on how close he was getting.
"Come on brion you slowpoke!" she teased veering off into the water it was a tad chillyer than she expected but she was haveing to much fun to care right now.

Braoin felt his pride dampen, and knew it wasn't just the water. He tried to keep up, but kept falling behind a tad. Damn I'm getting fat and lazy... I need to excersize more!
Despite the pride issue, he still laughed. The mare's enthusiasm is too contagious not to. Along with her, he dodged the water, enjoying the feel of it on his hoofs. "The ocean's cold this evening!" he stated, and ended up plunging into the surf.

She plunged right in with him. "it's n-not that bad." she replied swinging her now sopping long braided mane so it draped about her neck like a scarf. Just then a large rolling wave she had been to excited to noticed crashed over the top of her. She lost her footing in the soft sand and was now a flailing rag doll in the surf. It washed her first up onto the sand where she tried to find her footing then pulled her back. Out into the water.
Strangely she wore a smile and even laughed like it was just a game. Not a worry in the world.
"I guess I spoke to soon!" she commented between being washed about by the waves.

(I totes agree! I have a kelpie, but alas, she is not evil XD)
Braoin almost felt like laughing at her, except that he knew the waves could overwhelm her. "Are you okay?" he shouted to her. "Those waves look like they're taking advantage of you."
A small chuckle came from his chest. Whoops...
"If you need me to come help you I will." Braoin allowed the waves to rock him back and forth, enjoying the surf.
