Taken aback by the reply, Athena just stared, not knowing what to say. She shook her head at the human, annoyed, yet pitying her stupidity.
"Thou may not have a life to spend, if thou dost not hurry out of harm's way."
She flapped her wings and hovered above, planning to take her suggestion and help someone who wouldn't waste their life on useless stones. Yet something kept nagging her to stay by her side. She groaned, frustrated, and wondered again why she was helping such an inferior race.
She lifted her hands and reproduced her bow and arrow, and aimed it at the dragon's head.
"Cease thy rampage, foul beast, or I shall be forced to shoot!
Bowstring taut, the arrow begin to crackle with electricity and took the form of a lightning bolt.

Sally stared at first one and then the other. Shaking her head, she said, "Go away, Hikaru. I don't have time for this." She moved towards the other two bags she had loaded into the cart behind the shop.
When the bolt of lightning zapped Valkon, he turned, staring at the ghostling. Instead of finishing the stores he was in the midst of, the dragon moved directly towards her. Towering over her, he smirked for a moment. Then he shifted shape to his normal self, contemplating what she thought she was doing. Protecting the shops on this side?
"You are a brave little ghostling," he said towering over her. He was a legend, a ghostling god after all. "This is not just about me. It's about all of us. They deserve this, but since you have my attention now," he continued. "I'll be happy to oblige my attention."
Focusing he stretched out, reaching for his dragon form again. The bolt had not really phased him. He only spoke because a ghostling had acted directly to him. The shape came as easily as air to him and Valkon began smashing the stores beside him.
The roof began to cave in as Sally ran back into the store for the other bags. It collapsed on her, but as Valkon continued, she began to drift free. Blinking as she looked around, Sally stared is if seeing the world for the first time. She was but this time it was the ghostling world and the shadows within.(( OOC Haha... I was going to kill her another way, A.V., but you got Valkon's attention so well, that well... this is the result. Don't you love twists like this? I do. But even though it was a rather gutsy move, YOU got Sally killed early. For everyone else, there are still some rare ghostlings to come. Impress me. Sally is for A.V. to try to capture.
Roll one 10 sided dice.
If you get 2, 6, 9 = capture 10 = retry

((LOL, I dunno if I should feel honoured or shocked I caught his attention. xDD If I may ask later, what did you planned for her?))
Why WAS she helping the humans? Even she didn't know why. She huffed as the legend addressed her, not knowing whether to feel honoured or insulted at the comment. But what had he meant?
What was going to happen to them? What did the humans do to deserve it?
Athena snapped back to reality as she saw the legend immediately shape-shift back to his dragon form and began smashing the shops around him. She hadn't meant to do that.
She looked as the female human rushed back into the store as the ceiling caved in. She shook her head. Any chance of escape she had was now gone. Why were humans so stupid?
It wasn't long until she saw a ghostling emerge, looking around confused. Athena floated over to her and crossed her arms once again.
''Thou hadst been warned, yet thou had not listened and thy life hadst been lost. Will thou listen now?

The Watcher observed the destruction high above the clouds directly above the clock tower. His smoky form blended in perfectly with the smoke from the destruction. His glowing eye invisible to the people and ghosts below.
He knew of the reason behind this destruction and anger. The air around it was all too familiar.... Every piece of the puzzle was falling into place perfectly.
His eyes focused on the massive dragon Valkon. The red glow in his eye flashed before a little scarp of his foggy cloak fell from the sky. In time it would reveal itself to the blissful dragon...

(( OOC Nicely done, A.V. Keep the uncert if you want, but post her in Sora's certing thread with the information and your roll for type. Congratulations. And I had planned for her to get all the way to the edge of town and just sort of make it to safety. Then come back as a ghostling later and leave it to the person who got her to figure it out. XD And yes, I'm mean. It was a good chance for a twist in the plot though. After this, Sally's all yours... ))
Valkon continued to smash the shops. Perhaps he'd leave those few on the other side standing. Not that they would do anyone any good in a dead town. This place would become a place that ghostlings resided. Not the living.
Sally blinked as she moved towards the other ghostling. "What? What was I doing?" Who was this person in front of her? And what was that creature doing smashing everything?
Valkon's tail swung round tossing debris into the air. Then he swung it again scattering the bit that was left. Moving into the next shop, he crushed it, smashing the crystal, glass, and pottery making sure nothing was in one piece. The fabrics that had been placed on the table, he blasted with a breath of fire. Burning pieces were swept upwards in the breeze that swept through the area.
As he moved out onto the street again, the dragon turned as various pieces of debris were slowly drifting downwards towards him. For a moment he hesitated looking to see if anything were going to catch on fire, but again he stopped, eyes narrowing as a piece of fabric dropped down to lay on his nose. The scent there was familiar.
Valkon turned in a full circle, eyes gazing around him. The cloth still lay on his nose, but then he suddenly shifted out of dragon form, taking it into his hand. Where had he seen it? Then he knew. It was like the scrap that had been in the clocktower.
He smirked. "Watcher. I wondered if he would come out to play." Then he began to laugh as he tucked it into his pocket before turning back into a dragon. Now he had two pieces of him. Valkon roared loudly in amusement before stomping into the next shop.

((Thanks Eft! Funny how I always roll the opposite type I want for them, LOL. And not sure if I'm still eligible for the rolling, but let me know and I'll stop. Will still post to keep metaplot going)
Athena blinked, wondering why the esper couldn't remember anything. She shook her head and pointed at rubble that used to be her shop.
''Thou was a fool and bid thy life upon stones. Now thy human form is lost and thou art among the deceased.''
Even though she knew the human deserved her fate, she couldn't help but feel a slight bit of pity for her, and motioned to her to stay close, lest she decided to do something stupid.
Athena turned her attention back towards the dragon legend, and watched as he wreaked havoc with glee. Something seemed to have caught his attention, as he shifted back to his legend form momentarily, seeming to be grasping onto something. It didn't last long, as he morphed back into dragon form and seemed to continue the destruction with renewed vigor.
Whistling for her bird, she and the esper followed the dragon, seeing where he was headed next. The humans that had enough common sense had gotten plenty enough warning, but there were bound to be stubborn ones. She glanced back towards Sally and sighed. She alone couldn't do anything to the legend, but maybe if enough ghostlings banded together, something could be done.
She looked on, determined. Something MUST be done.

((Congrates AV! She's pretty.))
Gya and his new ghostling to this world saw Athena and... what appeared to be another ghostling by her. Gya took the little shy ghostling that was with him now and made his way towards Athena. "Got any plans?"
Gya smiled at Athena and gestured to the new ghostling by her side. "Is she new to our world too? I guess she is. What's your name?"
Gya has one ear listening to Athena and the new ghostling, another ear on the legend, and his eyes scanning his surroundings. Gya must grab his bearings and figure out what things could be used to stop the legend.

(( There is no limit. You are the ones playing so I'm not limiting how many ghostlings are won. I plan to give them all out although I'm hoping some others join in. I still have about 8 more to give out . Chibi, you hit number 50 in your last roll, so this encounter is for you.... )) He just drifted around and at first he could not believe it. Was he really dead? Images of a dragon rampaging through and knocking down the town hall flashed over him.
That's what it was. He was Judge Meyerly and had been in court.
How dare the creature kill him.? Indignant he moved away from the rubble of the building only to nearly get hit by the dragon's tail as he made it to the other side of the clocktower. The creature was still on a rampage. It would destroy the entire town unless stopped.
1 This is the ghostling you are trying to catch. As you have two dice, this is what you need to roll to capture. Roll 2 10 sided dice. If you roll 2, 6 = capture double numbers like 1, 1 or 2, 2 = capture total 6 = capture total 13 = capture total 10 = retry total 20 = retry Everything else = fail

Gya saw another ghostling join their world and saw that he got knocked down. Gya turned to the ghostling that was with him before. "Stay here. I'll be rigth back." Gya then turn towards Athena. "Please watch her."
Gya then ran towards the ghostling and tried to get him to his feet. "Come on. It wont do good of you to disappear from this world already when you can help us save your town.
Gya, supporting the ghostling, brought him over to where Athena and the new ghostlings were before.

Turning her head towards the one who addressed her, she sighed, shaking her head.
''Nay. Thy foul beast is much too strong for one. We needth a larger group, ifth thou plan to halt him.''
The esper looked at the ghostling, and held onto Athena.
"M-My name is Sally. Do you know what's going on here?"
Athena turned back towards the ghostling that addressed her as he seemed to look elsewhere, and watched as he left the oversoul that was with him to interact with another ghostling.
Athena shook her head, sighing. What was she, a nanny?
She watched as he spoke with the ghostling, and seemed to lead him towards her. Athena huffed, slightly annoyed. They needed to think up a plan to take down the dragon, yet here she was, playing baby-sitter to these new ghostlings.

Gya brought the ghostling towards Athena and tried to heal him. Gya was happy to have friends, but he didn't think he would make some this way. If they don't do something soon, the whole town would become a ghost town soon. Gya smiled at Athena. "You did say we have to have more ghostlings in order to help the town."
Gya then looked around and then looked at the new ghostling he was healing. "Are you alright?"
Meyerly looked angrily at the ghostling. "Why did you help me? I was doing just fine on my own!"
Meyerly then looked at himself and was horrified on what he become. "AND HOW DARE YOU CHANGE ME INTO ONE OF YOU CREATURES!"
Gya looked at Meyerly. "Get use to it buddy. It doesn't matter if you like it or not, you are one of us and you need someone to guid you in this world."
Gya then looked at Athena. "So...any plans?"

(( LOL another encounter, Chibi. You are awfully lucky this time... XD Same as before... Remember, fill forms out and post in Sora's certing thread. If you win this fox lore, you get to choose gender. Roll 2 10 sided dice If you roll 2, 6 = capture double numbers like 1, 1 or 2, 2 = capture total 6 = capture total 13 = capture total 10 = retry total 20 = retry Everything else = fail ____________________________________ The lore felt trouble in the air, but was in the mood to play. Fox Spirit Lores are cunning and impossible to hear if they do not want you to. These foxes attach quickly to their partners as they love the companionship of one other. However they do not like large crowds and are scared easily. Also note they are tricksters and love to pull pranks and steal from others. Though they will never harm/steal their attached ghosting.
And though so much was going on, everyone was running away from the action of the dragon. That lured the lore to the very area. It noted the few ghostlings in the area and moved closer.

Sarah stop her mad dash from the docks, gasping for air. The dragon finished destroying the docks and was making it's way towards the shops. Feeling panic rise within her, Sarah desperately searched for where to go next. So many people seemed to be heading for the church. Was it really as safe as they seemed to believe? Sarah wondered if it would be better to keep running until she was out of town, but where would she go. "It's all your fault!" Sarah whipped around at the angry voice behind her. She cowered before the blue ghostling hovering above her. "If you'd gone for help when I told you to, I would still be alive!"The angry ghostling frightened her, but there seemed something familiar about it... the dotted bandanna... the blue shirt... "Winchester?" she whispered. Horrified that she might have been the cause of his death, she wondered if the ghost of her father would be coming after her too. "Nooooo!" screamed Sarah. She ran for the safety of the church as the dragon rampaged around the Square smashing shops.

As the last shop fell to the ground where Valkon was, the dragon walked away. Tail swaying he smashed things on both sides as he moved. A lamppost dropped to the ground just as the tail hit a streetsign on the other side. A stone wall became rubble as it was stepped on without notice.
He had thought about where to move next. Glancing over at the school, he decided he would leave it alone for now. Instead he moved into the area of residences. It was time for a comeuppance for someone. Valkon had let him get away the first time. This time it would be different.
He was sure that the ghostlings were following him. Or perhaps not. It mattered little. It would take more than three or four of them to stop him. There were not enough. At least not yet. But they were paying attention now. So were the living. It was his intention and that of the goddesses.
After all, this WAS their will as much as he and Chronos had decided it would be a good lesson for the ghostlings also. They should not be forgotten.
His nostrils flared as he caught the scent of something- someone- familiar. The stench of fear and sweat were easily caught as he turned into the street. His tail swayed a few more times- deliberately and several houses went down, caving in on themselves as their owners ran screaming away. But what caught Valkon was the fenced in manor at the end of the culdesaq.
The mayor's house gleamed with the air of wealth and Valkon purposefully smashed the fencing. The mayor jumped to his feet running to the window. The dragon was on his lawn and he shivered in fear. Was it coming directly after him?
"Mayor! Mayor Thimbleditz! We have to leave! Now!" the guard stated, tugging on the man's arm. It was the same guard who had helped him leave the town hall. They had thought they were safe and that the dragon would simply go home. It had not. They would have to leave town entirely this time.
Valkon gleefully stepped on and crushed the fountain in the square before the mayor's house. The iron fencing was a tangled mass of metal as he slammed his tail this way and that. Suddenly he roared loudly letting the mayor know he was visiting. What would the man do?
(( OOC Still noone to stop Valkon? Rebuilding this city is gonna suck.... XD
Cricket, poor Winchester... I feel so bad for killing him now... NOT!! XD But you might want to make sure Sarah goes to the right church. Or not. *smiles innocently* ))

Athena looked around, nodding at the numbers. There were now 5 of them. Not a great number, but better than one. But she questioned how effective having 3 ghostlings who had just recently joined their world, still unfamiliar with everything around them.
She sighed. It would have to do for now. If they waited for more ghostlings, the town would certainly be destroyed by then.
She turned toward Gya.
"Let-th go. 'Tis time we stood and fought."
Reproducing her bow and arrow, she began to float in the direction of the dragon, while Sally followed along reluctantly.
