::Ryo shook his head softly remarking at the utter persistance of Ven. However as soon as the man brought up the wings and uttered the one word he feared, Ryo started his mad dash. Clutching the controls, he jerked the zoid to his right trying somewhat pointlessly to escape the Parakulyzer's range. He knew that he wouldn't escape the damage but he tried. As the first waves of the sonic attack approached the zoid he clenched his teeth.::

Hold on buddy this might hurt a bit.

::Still in full stride, the Fox's two hind legs and his one left leg went out causing the beast to fall. Then the rest of the electrical died out. The multi-sensor flashed on and off for a moment then it too died out. The beast uttered a massive roar of pain as essentially its internal organs shut down one by one. Ryo screamed in anger and then the scream began to fade although he was still shouting at the top of his lungs. So was the effect of the Parakulzer. Ven's devastating move left the beast on its stomch, its pilot deaf. The Shadow Fox was still operational, but to a very limited extent. Growling from the ground he tried to use his one good arm to slide away to safety, the Fox's head glaring at the Jerk. Ryo's ears began to loose the fuzz of the momentary deafness but he was still hard of hearing. He opened up the com-link and talked at what seemed a normal voice to him, but was a hearty shout to others.::

Persistance is one thing but damn Ven. Shall we continue?

::Smirking from the cockpit some systems came back online. The Fox's legs twitched a few times, but he brought the beast to its feet. His mobility nonetheless was drastically weakened, and the only operational weapon he had was his strike laser claw. Opening up the com-link he sighed.::

Ven I'm gonna pull out, I don't want to have to use my strike laser claw. Its the only thing thats operational. I don't want to injure the jerk anymore than I already have. You okay with that?

Devi saw an image of Ven uttering the Jerk's most deadly attack. Anyone within range would be deaf, and she really wasn't in the mood to lose her hearing for a few minutes. She thrusted Shield Liger's controls to the max, and it accelerated even more. Truly, it had only been going around 200 km/hr, instead of it's max. Lucky for her. She just barely escaped the wrath of the sonic waves.

"Thanks for the warning Ven!"

She wasn't actually being sarcastic. If the Jerk's attack had hit her, then she would definatly be in deep trouble. Shield Liger had already been in the shop that very same week with multiple malfunctions, and she really didn't need to go back to the garage again. It seemed as if she was just out of range when she stopped. She could still see the two horribly wounded Zoids, but both of the communication links had severed. Apparently they were both alright though.

Shield Liger was safe for the day. As long as she didn't try and fight the two other pilots. Devi doubted that they would be able to fight for a good while. She laughed. That had been way to close, but it was alright now. The pilots were alive, but they both definatly had some horrible damage.

"You guys are worse then I am!"

Ven watched the Shadow Fox fall, feeling a bit of pride surge up within his chest. Nothing could escape the Parakulyzer, be it a zoid on the land, sea, or air. While the Zoid was down, he checked the Jerk's weaponry. That wasn't good; both guns were jammed, and the right wing was only about ten percent functional. Not enough power to fully finish the Fox. Hell, he couldn't even move. A weary sigh escaped from the man, wincing heavily at Ryo's screams. He flipped the com-link off, leaning back in the seat to watch. The Shadow Fox would be messed up, but once it got back online...well, he was in trouble.

"I'm sorry." He murmured to the Rainbow Jerk, tilting his head slightly as he received what seemed to be a reassuring croon in response. He always felt like the Jerk, somehow, was alive...but that was wishful thinking of course. It was a machine; it couldn't 'live'. Then why could the Jerk emit sounds on its own free will? He had never quite solved the mystery of that. As Ryo spoke once more, Ven restablished the com-link, shrugging lightly without a word.

Ignoring the knot that was forming in his stomach, Ven watched the Shadow Fox struggle to its feet. He really didn't want the Jerk to get beaten any worse, but after that last attack...Ryo might be looking for some revenge. That was why he was so surprised when the other informed him that he was through. "...Yeah. You won anyway; the Jerk might still be online, but it can't move anymore...

In response, the cockpit hatch flew open, and he casually rose, standing on the edge. A small, weary grin spread across his face, one hand idly fingering the bruises that were beginning to form on his body. "If you'll still have me, I guess I'll join your team."

Thankfully, Abdiel's 'run like Hell' instinct had kicked in at the sight of those threatening tail feathers spreading, the promise of a deadly attack gleaming off of the metal Zi. Two-hundred km/hr was barely enough to get the Gun Sniper out of the direct line of the Parakulyzer, and even then, he wasn't completely spared from its devastation.

Falling flat on its chest, hind legs and tail flailing wildly, the Gun Sniper gracelessly dove down the hill and waited for the onslaught to finish, systems flickering and the emergency slights threatening to come on with on-and-off red flashes. Any closer, and his poor Gun Sniper would've been...

"Holy--" Abdiel winced. His ears were ringing, and Abdiel clapped his hands over them, shaking his head. "Thanks for the warning," he grumbled to himself as the Gun Sniper sat up, poking its head up to see the outcome of the battle. It had been an amazing fight, indeed, but after that last attack, Abdiel was quite glad that it was over. The Gun Sniper echoed that sentiment with a low growl as it carefully regained its footing, shaking itself thoroughly and jostling the already ruffled pilot in its head.

Stepping back onto the field, Abdiel debated talking to any of them, but decided against it. He'd gush if he ever had the opportunity to meet them again, but right now, he wasn't sure that his gregarious babbling would be appreciated. His heart was still pounding...

With a bow of the Gun Sniper's head, Abdiel trotted off cheerfully to see what damage had been done to his poor Zoid. He was certain, now, that he never wanted to meet either of them in battle... until he'd gotten the appropriate upgrades, of course.

::The Shadow Fox limped painfully over to the Rainbow Jerk, a low rumbling growl emitting from its metallic innards. The Fox was pretty much useless to fight at this point anyways with its hind legs at just under 13 percent and its front legs at just under 17 percent. He could barely "jog" let alone get off to a full sprint. His hearing was now coming back down to normal levels as he approached the Rainbow Jerk, the vulcan cannon motionless as it sat above the Fox's back. Sighing he popped open the cockpit and stood up waving towards Ven.::

It was a good fight buddy, you did well...

::Ryo smirked at the Fox as he patted an ear of the Fox. Sighing he waited for Ven to open up his cockpit. Getting on top of the Fox's head he had a bird's-eye view of the entire battle field. Small craters were left from the gunfight as well as the scampering of the Fox and his leg anchors. Smirking at his handiwork Ryo turned a little more to catch a slight glimpse of the fleeting Shield Liger. Nodding to himself he wondered where the fourth zoid was.::

Ven stepped out onto the beak of the Jerk, not fearing the incredible height. He was cautious however, slowly and carefully placing each foot down before straightening. Even then, he stayed close to the cockpit, so he could jump back in if he started to fall. As the Shadow Fox limped closer, the man was at least content to know that it hadn't been a one-sided battle all the way through. The wave was returned, right arm extending high over his head. He was in a good mood it seem, having gotten over the initial blow to his pride. The Jerk had fought well; he was proud of how far he had come, skill-wise.

"Weeell, that was exciting..." He slowly sat down, crossing his legs as he idly observed the Shadow Fox from up here. It had taken some pretty heavy damage.

Slowly turning his head, Ven searched for Devi. Had she gotten away in time? Looked like it, thankfully. He didn't really need her zoid taking damage just after it had gotten fix. "Now the problem is, how am I going to get you to a shop?" The Jerk was so weak that it couldn't even bend down so he could get out. Which meant he was stuck up here...great. "Feel like lending me a hand, despite the fact I just busted your new zoid...?

::Laughing heartily he grinned at Ven nodding. Turning around he tried to see if Devi was in the area, but was unsuccesful at finding her. Sighing he took a quick glance at the Fox's damage, taking note of the two main hits to the side of the zoid, leaving huge scars in the armor. Thankfully the zoid had above average armor, and no damage was truly taken to any of the hard wiring. This was definately fixable. He sighed once more, hopefully by now the legs had regained a little more of their energy. Turning back around, he called over to Ven from his zoids head.::

Yeah I don't think I have enough room for two in the cockpit, but if you want to ride the zoid into town, hes not going to be moving at too much of a high rate, or I could try and tow you guys... your choice.

::Nonetheless he hopped back into the cockpit, carellessly swinging around one of the Shadow Fox's ears and into the seat. Flipping a few switches, the cockpit closed, and the displays came back online. The legs were now just at 20 percent in the back and not faring too much better at 25 percent in the front. Shrugging, he grasped the controls and walked the Zoid slowly over to Ven and the Rainbow Jerk, where he could easily step down onto the zoid.::

Devi managed to pilot Shield Liger back to where the others were standing. There'd been no damage to her Zoid, so she was lucky. Even if she wasn't the one fighting, Shield Liger could have been near to complete destruction. And she could have been hurt too. Though it wasn't her main problem. She could deal with pain, but she'd rather not have to pay for damage to her Zoid. Hospital bills were probably much cheaper. At least this time, she didn't have to pay either. But Ryo and Ven had to definatly pay some hefty fees for their Zoids' repairs.

"I could lend a hand if you want."

Her cockpit opened and she stood up. She had to use the inside of the cockpit to keep herself up. Her legs were a little tired from not walking. Shield Liger put its head down, and she jumped the rest of the way to the ground. It wasn't really far. Probably only 15 feet. Shield Liger lifted its head back up, and closed the cockpit.

Ven slowly moved his gaze down to the beak he was sitting on, patting it with one hand. "...As much as I hate to leave it...I think it'll be best for your Fox if I just ride it back. No one's gonna be able to hotwire the Jerk, or load it up that quickly. Especially not if..." Leaning over into the cockpit, Ven fiddled with the controls for a minute. The claws on the feet twitched, then seemed to dig into the ground, stabalizing the zoid. "There...that should buy it some time before it tips over." It wasn't that he was worried about some idiots trying to steal the broken-down Jerk, it was the fact that the bird would tip eventually from the damage take to its left wing. Closing the cockpit, Ven shakily rose on top of the beak.

"I'll just get a mechanic to tow the Jerk back...I don't want your Fox giving out from the strain." It had taken some pretty heavy damage, after all.

Easing himself to a sitting position, the man was about to slide to the Fox, but Devi showed up. "Oh, good...you're still in one piece." He joked, though his words were heartfelt. "I'd appreciate it if you did...any ideas?" He remained on the Jerk's beak, peering down at the girl below. Jeez, she seemed tiny. Okay. He didn't like being this high up. It was making his hands shake. Funny; he could fly over a thousand feet in the air, but put him outside his zoid and he wasn't so confident. Glancing back to the Fox, he spoke quietly. "Sorry about banging you up so bad...it was a good battle though." He seemed to be speaking more to the zoid than the pilot inside. Maybe he was. The Fox truly was a magnificent thing, still sleek and shiny despite the gaping scars in the armor.

"Is the Shield Liger strong enough to pull the Rainbow Jerk back...?"

(((Fweee! Last post for a bit for me I gotta go eat. Dx))

::Looking down over the cockpit Ryo spotted Devi and smirked, the Fox giving a low grumble as he overheard Ven's comment. Laughing Ryo patted the zoid affectinately, the zoid replying with a happy bark.::

Yeah now that I think about it it would be the best decision to leave it here or to have Devi attempt to tow it if shes up to it, however I don't know how that would work out without have a trailer of some sort.

::Sighing he scratched his head from his open cockpit still sitting down. He was out of ideas so he looked down to Devi who was not so far from Ryo as she was from Ven.::

Whats your two cents Devi? Should we leave it here or do you think you could find something to tow it back on?
