"I didn't elbow him. I put my arm there, if I had elbowed him, he would have been hurt. Beside, he didn't actually bite me." it was just too close for comfort. He glared at the pikachu up on the shelf. It wasn't really higher the he could reach, but definitely not the worth the effort when he saw what show the pikachu choose. He had seen it before, but It was decent enough. He floppped back on the couch, sigh.
Swiftwing saw there was no damage to his human and settled down, half watching the show half not. He was dreaming of flying, or perhaps pecking his human a few times. and occasional reached back to scratch a limb or adjust a few feathers. Preening rarely took him more then a few minutes, and was something he took up for longer lengths of time only when his human was attempting to get him to do something he didn't want to.

If you didn't elbow him, why did he yelp and bite you? Stupid boy, she thought to herself, violet eyes drifting to the tv screen. She didn't feel like arguing with this guy - he seemed like he had more growing up to do if he was fighting with a Pikachu.
Especially since the Pikachu won.
The movie was mostly over, so after about 30 minutes it ended, and Claire stood. "Alright guys, let's go." That said, she pulled out both pokeballs but only recalled Odette first. "Zeus, get down."
The Pikachu huffed, ears flicking back, but he followed obediently. He was sorely tempted to leave the remote on top of the bookshelf, but he knew his trainer would make him go back up and get it, so he saved himself the trouble and brought it down. He trotted it over and dropped it on the floor before the young woman recalled him as well in a flash of bright red light.
"My name's Claire, by the way," she said, turning to Panther. She was certain she hadn't introduced herself before. "See you around," was her farewell as she waved absently with her free hand before leaving the rec room. She had more important things to do, at any rate.

He sat through the movie, letting Swiftwing stay out. It seemed the pokemon was more interested in a nap then causing trouble, and he's return the bird later.
The girl ignored him. He didn't bother to pursue talking to her, she didn't' seem interested. The pikachu had relived some of the boredom that had set in, but then his entertainment was gone, and the remote was not worth the effort. he stared at the screen, slipping his glasses back on while he watched mind turning numb until it was over and she stood.
"Bye." He bearly got out as she left rather abruptly. The room felt a little empty without the silent company, but now, he had the remote.
