She actually paled at the thought of Neena being caught and eaten like a small bird. She knew some soquili ate meat and in that line other soquili but the thought made her feel a bit ill. "I suppose.. a giant bird would keep you well fed for quite some time..." She gave an involuntary shudder at the thought. She shook her head to clear her thoughts before she made herself woozy. "Meet one?" She wondered if it would be a friendly meeting or not. Looking around some she thought, trying to come up with something to turn the topic at hand to a more... pleasant one than one of death. She still wasn't able to fully accept that death was a natural flow of life.

"Yes!" He gave a pur at the mention of it once more. "It would have to be a normal bird." He mused, as his thoughts continued. "Just a gigantic one, not like me and you, with details of an animal. Just a normal bird... I guess our kind with lots of feathers would be too chewy and hard to eat, where as birds. They're just right and the bones aren't that big so one bi--" He paused, as he got too in to the idea of food, she may be grossed out by this kind of thing and her expression certainly reassured him.
He sweat dropped, ears flattening outwards as he gave a sly, cheeky, unsure grin. "Sorry." He chuckled weakly. "I would like to meet one." He nodded, then decided a topic changer would be good right now as his eyes became bright and wide looking over her."What do you usually like to do around here?" He asked curiously. "Or do you jump logs all day?" He teased, it did look like fun but not something he could do alll day, he would eventually give and just collapse on one half way through pouncing in to instant deep sleep.

"Do? I guess it depends on what I feel like doing around here.. If it's not walking the herd border to see what's around I usually think of ways to amuse myself." She chuckled some glad for the change of topic. "What about you? What do you to pass the time aside from lounging in the sun?" She picked at his boa some, lipping it and fluffing it up as she waited for his answer.

Boris gave the mare a warm smile as she nipped and played with his boa, glad that many loved it as much as he did. It was his pride and joy, it had been with him through thick and thin, about the only thing that had, and provided a comfy pillow and warmth during the night and even during the day! The cat stallion was also curious as she mentioned walking around her 'herd borders' he had failed to ask the soquili he met about herds, he had one and Madoka used to have one. He came to assume everyone did but now it dawned that they may not of all had one.
"What's your herd like?" He asked, a smile in his eyes; ears twitching lightly. Would they have extravagant buildings and machines like the heartland did? He hadn't seen anything like that around the Kawani lands but there were definitely places he hadn't seen and thus it made him wonder what else this land had to offer if it had intrigued Dice enough to stay wandering around them.
"Me..." He finally uttered, smile filling out in to a grin. "I like to hunt and fish, I travel back and forth between my herdland and this one, get in to a bit of trouble sneaking around my rivals herdlands." He gave a side gaze, narrowing his eyes away from her even at the mention of the hatter, then when they relaxed let them fall back over her.
"I guess today I saved you from amusing yourself." He chuckled. "Hopefully it has been company well spent!"

"My herd's rather nice.. there are few of us bet we're a nice enough bunch. Like my mother always said... Don't judge just by how one looks.. get to know them for everyone has some good within no matter how small.. you just have to look to find it some times." She gave a small chuckle. "My mother's fairly wise.. but some times I have to wonder just how her philosophy would hold up against a skinwalker..." She gave a small shrug and smiled once more. "It's been company well spent I have to say so.. I'm enjoying myself talking with you. Maybe some day you could even visit our herd some time."

"Your mother sounds like she holds a lot of wisdom." He agreed, he liked that out take on things, one couldn't judge someone on their appearance, or maybe Boris would have never found friends, or potential partners. If anything, the one thing he came across was gay because of the promonent colour that surrounded him. Which the Hatter had reminded him of repeatedly. He despised it but he had managed to shrug off his comments and hold his own opinions in to mocking him back.
"If they're anything like you I can see them being wonderful." He chuckled, he meant that whole heartedly, she was very sweet and fun to be around, which was why he was so happy to hear that she was enjoying his company just as much as he was enjoying hers. "I would love to visit, if your herd would allow it. I have never had chance to visit somebodies home in these lands, welcomingly at least. I can imagine it's very beautiful there?" He asked, genuinely interested in the topic at hand but one word had striked his attention. Like their earlier conversation, one he hadn't come across before.
"What's a skinwalker..? Are they evil?" The closest to true evil Boris had ever got was Blood and even then he didn't think there could be anything worse around than him.

"'m sure they'd welcome you even if you are different.. Mother often said she had two friends who most would consider.. eerie looking at best. I think one was a kalona stallion even.." She grinned wide. Her mother was known for making friends in odd places. " I've always thought it rather a lovely place.. we share an open meadow with a few other herds but for the most part our little claim of land's rather pretty..."
She thought about his question on what a skin walker was and pondered how best to describe one having never seen one for herself. " Well.. from what I hear, they're really evil.. they can take the form of other animals at will and wear the pelt of that animal almost always... some are cursed as such where as others... just always were skin walkers... At least that's what my mother once said."

Boris was coming to realise he really didn't know much about this land at all, he would take it upon himself to learn what he could from it's inhabitants when he could. He smiled thankfully that there was a high possibility that he would be welcomed there and nodded his head slowly. In that case company would come easily if they shared a meadow however Bri had been out here alone and in the Heartland, there were a series of herds but that didn't mean the members particularly liked one another.
His ears swiveled forward to listen as she continued on about the skinwalkers, tilting his head gently he peered at her through the loose bangs wondering if there were differences between regular animals and the one the SW's turned in to. Apparently these lands were dangerous, he would have to be more cautious... No doubt he would forget about them when he was attending to his daily's afterall, the danger couldn't always linger in ones mind or else they would live a life of fear.
"Theres quite the variety." He paused briefly, meaning the different types of soquili ranging from good and bad. "I hope we don't run in to one, that wouldn't be so great."

"Quite a variety in soquili indeed." She chuckled lightly. "Yeah... I think running into a skin walker wouldn't be very pleasant.. though mother thinks there's hope even for them to redeem themselves. I think it's just part of her stubborn will to see the good in others though." She gave a small shrug. " So... I'm surprised you've never heard of them before..."

Boris made a lop sided smile, twisting his head to one side to look down at Bri. He would of protested her mothers good will towards something evil but then he thought of Blood and Dice. Maybe even the cold hearted needed someone to take a chance on them, or else they would all end up alone but in his opinion; Blood should have.
"I'm not from around here, so I don't really know a great deal about these lands. Most of the soquili are like me, not cats... It's more... Bunny infested with a rat or two inbetween." He snickered lightly, Elliot would have raged over being called a bunny if he had heard that.

" Oh.. I see.. It must be interesting being from some place so... fascinating." She smiled. it wasn't too odd about him being from another land. Shilo was.. and he was just HUGE. Really it wasn't unheard of for the soquili who'd come from elsewhere to look so different. Her mother wasn't a native to these lands and she was small compared to the other mare she'd met. She herself was smaller than her mother by a little bit. "It's always interesting to learn of how different the outside lands are.." She mused, her tail flicking about in that happy little waggle it was often doing. "I should probably how you the way to our herd grounds just in case you ever want to drop in though."
