Frost eyed the stallion uncertainly. He seemed a little... loopy. She wondered if she shouldn't try to find someone to take a look at him. Was there a unicorn or angeni nearby? Or maybe some kind of shaman? She tried to remember if there were any villages within easy reach and, with a wince, realized there wasn't.

He caught her look and realized that he was moving too fast, making her uncomfortable. He could almost hear her thought process as she realized he was flirting with her. Not surprising. With her willingness to help a stranger, and her amazingly unique looks... She must have been hit on every day of her adult life. He needed to tone it down, be patient.
Then he saw her wince. What was going through her head? But he could guess. The natural progression. She realized he was flirting, then winced when she realized how badly her mate was going to destroy him. She was too kind a heart for such violence, he supposed. It fit with her rescue of him. "I'll be okay," he assured her. After all, after this encounter, he would be okay with dying, because he would die happily. He just hoped her mate wouldn't make her watch. She didn't need to live with that.

"C...c...can you s....stand?" if he could stand and walk, maybe she could get him somewhere more secure. The sooner she got him back to passable health, the sooner she could leave this confusing creature.

"I think so, yes. Thank you," he said warmly to her. He wished he could have said no, that he could have taken the chance to have more time with her... but he could not.. would not lie to her.

He sighed regretfully then pushed himself up, standing. His limbs were a little sore, but everything seemed to be functioning acceptably. "Would you care to walk around with me a bit, to keep warm?" he asked, hoping that he was not being too forward.

She hesitated then nodded the slightest bit, keeping a cautious eye on him. He seemed to be doing alright for the moment, but that didn't mean that he was really back to full health. She stepped away from him slightly and kicked some snow onto the fire. One way or the other, they likely wouldn't need it anymore.

He watched her with a small smile. Bright girl. He was so scrambled, he would have forgotten about the fire entirely. While it wasn't likely that a forest fire would start in this snow, it was always possible, or worse, some one running could run through it. Very smart.

Frost took a few steps toward the caves she had holed up in during the snow storm. She had been planning on moving on soon, anyway, so there would be no harm in showing him where it was. She paused to glance at him and see if he was following.

He walked along behind her, watching the way she moved. When she looked back, he offered her a warm smile. He knew he had little time with her, so he planned to enjoy it.

She ducked her head shyly when he smiled and forced her eyes forward. Now that he was up and moving, she couldn't help but notice how impressive he looked.

She focused on the ground in front of her as she led him to the cave where she had waited out the storm. Once there, she paused at the mouth and glanced at him uncertainly.

Again that glance, so again he gave her a warm smile. Was she looking back just for his smiles? He knew he was flattering himself to think so, but he allowed himself the illusion. Certainly seeing her face was more then enough to bring the smile about naturally. Her mate was one lucky stallion, whoever he was. Jayhk hoped the lucky soul was smart enough to realize the treasure he had.

She slipped into the cave, flushing slightly. There was something different about this one... and she didn't want to think too hard about it.
