"Taking care of one's health is an emergency." Serenade insisted stuffily, expelling a sigh. But it was hard to convince someone who had already impulsively made the run, and she decided to give it a rest.

"Uh..." She managed, glancing back at the book on her bed. "Coralie said it was interesting, so I thought I'd give it a try." She shrugged her slim shoulders, looking unimpressed. "So far, it's just been really bewildering."

"I'm still healthy though, so all is well, no frost bite or sniffles here. Not to mention we have milkshakes." He gave her a lopsided grin, the usual way to try and dismiss her worries before returning to the focus of that book.

That evil, evil book.

"You should read something like, Interview With a Vampire, or go watch the movie. It's a bit older, but waaaaay better then sparkle boy." He took another sip from his shake. "Not to mention Twilight has that whole creepy stalker vibe, why would anyone dig that? What if they actually had someone climbing through their window snatching them up? It wouldn't be so 'cool' and' hot' then."

Never mind the fact that he just climbed a tree to get through Serenade's window rather then taking the front door.

"I've never really read vampire books." Never really read fantasy books since high school was more like it, she thought. Since being awakened, to be exact, because she would always unconsciously compare it with her own life and she hadn't really liked to doing that. It was unnerving when something wrong happened in the books, making her wonder if that would ever happen to them. Happy things too, made her skeptical and wary. Even when entering Barren Pines with no memory of that, she had scoffed at the existence of the senshi and focused on her music and studies instead.

"I never understood why Edward sparkles. I mean, I thought people would mistake it for some sort of skin disease." Serenade pointed out. "And yeah, it is rather disturbing that he watches her sleep in her bed. But apparently, it's really popular?"

"I read more technical stuff usually. But soooometimes a good fiction book makes for a good time killer indeed." Having been awakened not long ago Sorrin hadn't come to terms of seeing his life like some magical story. Sure magic was involved, but to him it was more like a weird dream sometimes when he was actually thinking about it. Really a day dream, since he was awake and very aware of it all happening.

"Sparkle cancer, shame it's not fatal for him." He gave a slight tsk shaking his head, "If girls thought people being a creeper was actually romantic then a lot of strange creepy nerds wouldn't be single, and a lot more incidents of people with injuries from falling out of trees and stuff."

"I kill my time with music." Serenade deadpanned. And gaming. And patrolling. But she did not say that out loud, especially not the last one. It wasn't something to reveal to simply just anyone.

"Different people find different things romantic, I guess." She murmured, and a fleeting thought came to her mind, making her wonder if Sorrin had known Ally in Sovereign Heights. But that had been long ago, so she didn't say anything either. "I don't know really. I'm horrible with these things." Horrible meaning she didn't really care or think too much about it.

Sorrin couldn't help but chuckle just a bit when Serenade came back with the statement of killing time with music. It was her art and something she did very well. So of course the deadpanned response was expected. While the rest was unspoken he wouldn't be all that different. Though add in something about 'getting into trouble!' and 'ELZO!' and it would be a spot on explanation as to what Sorrin did in his free time.

"True, to each their own." Sadly Sorrin had only just gotten back, the odds he had even seen Ally would have been slim to none, maybe a passing in the hall, or some mention of a loved student passing, but odds are the name would barely ring a bell to him. "Nah, you're not horrible, you're a wonderful pianist, a lovely young lady with her whole life ahead of her to figure these things out. You'll get it eventually."

"Eventually." She echoed, even though a part of her doubted it, and then smiled at him. "Thank you, Sorrin. I hope you find a nice girl too." Even if her happiness was lost, she still wished that her friends would be happy and never have to experience what she had went through. It was a deep pain she wouldn't wish on anyone. Not even Charonite? A small voice asked her, and she did not know how to reply.

But it didn't make sense, right? Why would the Negaverse hold anything dear to them when they were so keen on destroying life? She was quiet, taking a milkshake and sipping it in an attempt to rid herself of those thoughts.

Quietly, or rather as quietly as one could when slurping a shake Sorrin nodded. "Sometime, when the moon aligns and all it's magics bless me with one right? Something magical like that."

As Serenade lost herself in thought Sorrin rose up finishing his shake, before she would notice he had crossed the room to ruffle her hair gently with a smile. "Try nto to over think everything. Life doesn't always make sense. The sooner you get that idea down, the more everything else just works out."

Again he was moving, the window was open and he was leaping towards a tree. By the time Serenade arrived Sorrin was already gone from sight, possibly grabbing a low branch and dropping, or maybe he was just getting a real kick out of abusing his new powers.

Either way the boy who left Serenade only hopped she would take some of his advice, and try not to make so much sense of a senseless crazy world.
