Pavitra wasn't faultered by his question as he normally would be by someone else. For some reason being around this male made him want to smile. "I just enjoy finally having company. Someone to talk too, I suppose." The grin turned into sheepishness as Pavitra tucked his head down a fraction.
"Do you get lonely, wandering around as a traveler with not herd?" There. Pavitra seemed to be getting back into the swing of his conversational abilities.

"Hm." he merely grunted in response. Rajput didn't know why others wanted company so much. But then again, he wasn't really sociable to begin with, so that might be the problem.
"I...uh...don't really get lonely no..." though he didn't want to admit that might miss his mother a teensy bit. But what kid doesn't? The stallion felt a little bad that Pavitra wanted to be with someone so much.
"Er..." he started, knowing that somewhere down the line he was going to have to kick himself for this, "...if you want, we can be...uh..." what was the word?, "...travelbuddies?" he muttered the last two words quickly, wanting to rid of such a word from his mouth. As gruff and unsociable Rajput was, he wasn't necessarily a bad horse. He was nice. At times.

Pavitra's head shot up a few inches and his wings unconsciously outstretched a fraction. "Really? Why - why would you want to travel with me, a stranger?" And an oddball. But left that part out. He definitely wasn't going to give him all the reasons to take back his offer.
Calm down kid. It could of been a fleeting thought. Probably wasn't very serious. Rajput doesn't seem like the travel-buddy-wanting type. Taking an inaudible deep breath, Pavitra settled down many notches. "Of course you should take time to think about it. I would never want to impose my company on you."

"Oh." Well now he felt a little dumb, "If you don't want to, then that's fine too." Why didn't he take the time to think everything out before saying anything? Rajput inwardly sighed, trying to explain himself, "Uh...well...you see..." the stallion merely snapped his mouth shut, trying to formulate the words again, "Well...it might be easier?" why did he say it like a question?
"Again." he said, "If you don't want to then that's fine too." Was this his cue to leave or did he have to stay here for longer?

Pavitra felt a thrill shoot through his tummy and chest. He was going to have someone to travel with! And even to boot, wont be a burden! Squealing inside his head with delight, Pavitra struggled to keep a outward calm expression. He really, really did not want to scare Rajput away with his oddness.
"I would be more than happy to travel with you! It would be so nice to have someone to talk to, or at the very least, knowing someone was there with you." Smiling like an idiot, Pavitra wanted to pounce over and nuzzle into Rajput and share his enthusiasm. Buuut something told him that that would be a very bad idea. Instead, Pavitra mustered all the "male" in him and merely bowed his head in thanks.
That might of said enough, right?

Rajput merely nodded at everything that was being said, just wanting to whole thing to go away, "Yeah, yeah, yeah." he shifted from one hoof to another, shaking the hair from his eyes. Why did he keep smiling at him like that? It was awfully...happy.
He cleared his throat, "So...what now?" he asked, feeling a little awkward now. What did they do now? Just continue to talk or...?

Pavitra drew a breath to answer but then realized he had none to offer off the top of his head. "Uhm... hmmm." Furrowing his eyebrows in concentration, he went through several ideas. After a few moments, he just shrugged. Well. As much of a shrug as a horse with wings can do, really. "I suppose if we want to spend sometime looking around, grazing we stay here. And when we're both done, we decide what direction to head?" Pavitra kept a small smile on his face. Not like the over excited one he was suppressing. He'd been told that can get... erm. Creepy.

"That sounds alright to me, I suppose." and without further delay, Rajput proceeded to mow down the entire field before them. He was still hungry, and the vegetation tasted wonderful.
The stallion slowly lifted his head up to look at Pavitra. "So, um Pavitra." he said, chewing in thought, "I guess...since we're traveling together and all that, I guess we should get to know more about each other." he looked at the alicorn questioningly.

The alicorn wasn't too hungry at that moment so he'd been standing, facing the sun with is eyes closed. Oh how he loved to soak up the heat. When Rajput began to speak again, he looked at the male with his small smile again.
"That does sound like a good idea. Who should start first?" He spread his wings, feeling a breeze pick up, the wind calling him up into the air.
But... the call to keep company with this stallion seemed stronger than flying just right then. Odd how that didn't strike Pavitra with worry. He happily ignored it, as if there were nothing wrong with that feeling.

Rajput shrugged as much as a horse could shrug. His history wasn't too interesting probably. Not that he really cared for his past. Though he was curious was this one.
"Whomever you want, I suppose." It had been an extremely long while since Rajput had a 'friend'. It felt a little weird. He wasn't exactly friendly to being with, making the stallion feel even more awkward.

"Uhm alright." Decisions weren't Pavitra's strong suit but if Rajput wanted to start, then he would of already. That probably meant that to be courteous, Pavitra should volunteer. And.. so he did.
Where to start? 'My names Pavitra. I'm a Capricorn. I enjoy long walks on the beach, sunsets, and my favorite color is peach.' How about no.
"Well there's not a lot about my past that qualifies as something interesting. I'm still young, and got a lot I don't know about yet. I've just be traveling from place to place, mainly looking for others that look like me. Or act like me. I enjoy others being around though I've never been in a herd. And... uhm. Well I've never been in a fight?" Yep. That summed him about up, he thought.

Rajput listened as he continued to dine on the lovely feast of vegetation. Why was he so hungry lately?
To be honest, he'd never been in a fight either, even though it probably seemed like he had. "That's interesting." he said to be polite. "I guess I'm your opposite. Slightly." Was he to start about his past now? It wasn't something he'd shared quite often, cause mainly there was no one there to share it with.
"Er...I grew up in the desert. I lived in a herd with my parents. I left them a while ago cause I found it boring. And I'm here now." Was that it? Or did he have to say more? He inwardly shrugged. If Pavitra wanted to know more, he'd probably question him.

"You must have blended in well. I've only seen the desert from far off. I was born where it snowed often." Smiling he extended his wings as if to emphasis. "I was well hidden most of the time."
Okay. So. They both gave their entire bios in a matter of minutes. What now?
"You are hungry a lot, aren't you?" Cocking an eyebrow Pavitra thought of something he'd passed on his way here. "I know a place that would be better for your appetite." Smiling broadly, he nodded his head in the direction he'd entered.

"Snow...?" he raised a brow to look at the alicorn. "What's that?" What an odd-sounding word. Snow. Snow. Snoooow. Snow.
"The desert's alright. Water's valuable." his ear flicked idly, "Yeah. I eat a lot." the stallion felt a little embarrassed to admit it, "I just like to eat, alright?" he said rather gruffly, avoiding eye-contact with Pavitra.

Pavitra's jaw dropped, completely forgetting Rajput ignored his gesture to move else where. "Snow! You mean to tell me you haven't ever seen snow?" This was baffling, though if he'd had time to think before, ya know, about not all horses traveling to the same places, surely he'd at least heard of snow.
"Its like rain, only colder and more solid. Not ice, but softer. Still cold though." He was rambling trying to figure out how to describe it. And understand that the horse before him had no idea what it is.
