"I see..." Though, he wasn't quite sure what he should say now. It all always came down to this - this was a war, and people had died. Sometimes he did forget, and he really should not, even though he was most often than not careful.
"No, you're perfectly justified... This is a war, after all." He nodded along with his own words, pausing a moment to overlook the street down below. Nothing abnormal, and no strange auras nearby.

"Do you ever wonder... " She started and stopped and shook her head. "...Do you think we should be killing them?" She diverted her question. "The Agents I mean, not just the Yoma... or do you think we should just be trying to stop them?"

That was an interesting question, and at first, the senshi of noise was silent. Was it ? Could he ever do something like that ? Would he honestly be able to kill another human being ?
Youma were easy. Youma were monsters. Almost just the same as rpg monsters. Or something you'd encounter in an horror game. It was easy to attack that, and kill something like that.
The actual agents... Well, he'd fought one, once. But it hadn't come anywhere close to something like this. The negaverse would likely not hesitate to kill him. Could he do the same ? Even in self-defense ?
"...I don't know..." He finally said, shaking his head. "I... try not to think about it too much. Through they'd likely kill us if we give them the chance..." This was a war. They were enemies - but he had no way to tell who was hiding under the glamour. Were they all people just like he and Mu, too ?
"Do you think that they have a choice ?" Came his own question. He hadn't had a choice, not really - ********* found him and awakened him on the spot. Sure, beyond that he had the choice to do as he wished with the power that awakened in him - did the cats even check to see which senshi was doing anything ?
Ultimately he had been driven by some alien sense of duty that he still did not quite understood, and might even never understand, just like his feelings for a princess he had never met, and might very well never see with his own eyes.
But was the negaverse like the senshi, chosen and awakened in similar ways ? Or was it completely different ? He didn't know, and he might never know.

"I don't know, I think eveyone assumes that they go in with eyes wide open, but I can't imagine that...you get invited to the negaverse with an opening line of 'Sign up and murder your peers today', she said and shook her head. "I do realize that there are crazy people out there but we can't -really- have that many homicidal maniacs out there can we?" She mused... quiet for a moment. "Maybe... maybe once they join...I wonder if they feel something like us wanting SO much to find the princess, maybe it's like that, Do you think if we never were handed Henshin Pen's we'd still want to find her?"
There were so many questions that could never -really- have a satisfactory answer, things that should and maybe always would leave you wondering. Then again, maybe it was the very act of questioning that made them want to save the civilians around them rather than subvert them to whatever ends drove the negaverse to such dark deeds.

He leaped to the next roof, taking the time to calculate his jump carefully and making sure not to land on ice - that could be pretty brutal - and then he turned to watch, to make sure she made the jump okay - body tense, as if ready to leap to catch her if she somehow did not.
Looked like Themis was the pot calling the kettle black when protectiveness went.
"Maybe... They have their... queen, right ?" Death Incarnate, more like. He did not know what had been the scariest thing - her aura, or the fact that he somehow found, somewhere deep within him, the courage to stand up to it in his own way.
For all of a few seconds before he got his arm broken, but he still had.
"I havn't been a senshi for that long." He admitted. "Way less than the rest of my team, and most others even, but before the cat gave me my pen... I didn't have this kind of longing. These dreams..." Did she know what he was talking about ?
"Through... we can't wait for her to come back." He shook his head. As much as he wished that the princess would be there, if only to have a true leader, someone who knew all of this... if only for the potential stability she could maybe provide. "She might never come. We just need to do our best, what we can all personally do."

"Blue eyes...that feeling..." She echoed nodding at the dreams. "Have..." She started tentative. "I spoke to Chibi Moon after the last meeting,... Even if her mother never comes, I... we have someone to believe in, both her...and each other." She nodded putting on a brave face. "Even if she never comes, we can still fight for that feeling that we dream of."
She made the jump, the toe of one boot catching on the ice... she slid slightly and snagged herself with the other boot like she was well accustomed to catching herself while wearing heels, she had some practice, it was the running that nearly killed her when this all started.

He moved to catch her, but thankfully it turned out that it wasn't needed, and he relaxed, though he did not move until he was completely certain the senshi of blood had her balance. It was only then that he turned to continue on his way, in that same slow walk that would be easy for her to catch up with.
"Yes... exactly that." Though they were starting to be rarer and rarer - he dreamt of the stars, instead. Of icy paths and dark skies..
Of the view he'd seen when Kurma had pulled them all up in space - the earth from above.
"Exactly. We need to fight for that feeling. And for those who cannot fight for themselves."

She nodded smiling, she felt warmer inside to hear those thoughts echoed back from someone other than the face in the mirror. "I think... that's what she meant when she said what she did about lights in the dark...look at us, we're named for stars and planets, bright things that still shine on even in that darkness, we're hope...guidance... not just for this world, but for each other."

"Yeah." That made sense. That really made sense.
He might have to remind himself of this, again and again, but this was what he needed not to lose the sight of.
Themis stopped - he could see his apartment from here. "Do you want me to take you to the bus stop, or something ? Im done my patrol, I think."
Was starting to get pretty cold, he had to admit.

"it's a kind offer." She smiled and offered him back his coat, grateful for its use. "I'll be alright though. Stay warm, stay safe!" She said and shivered despite herself. "I'll find a nice place to Change...and I'll be warm and away before you know it."
She curtsied to him and then waved.

"Alright then." He smiled and took his coat back, draping it over his arm rather than putting back on. It was pretty damn cold, but his apartment was only a few jumps away, so it seemed futile.
"See ya later ?" He offered, and waved back at her.
He watched until she was but a tiny point in the distance, and then entierely gone - it was only then that he jumped down to the alley, and powered down.
