“And we have heard so very many nice things about you as well Aludra, Ken here has dropped some hints in his letters home that he’s very serious about this relationship” said Maria beeming down at Aludra. “Mom, please shhh” I said rather hurriedly, my mom got really excited over the prospect of mine and Aludra’s relationship growing into something even more. This was all fine and dandy but she didn’t have to blurt it out and embarrass me right in front of all these people.
“Now Now sweet heart you gone and embarrassed the boy”, my dad said coming to my rescue, “how about we take Katie out onto the grounds and let her look around.” Laughing her continued “we should let them have some private time away from their embarrassing parents.” He looked over at Mr Alex and gave him a wink, slight grin showing that he was only jesting.
